08/10/2025: The property is immaculately maintained, the service impeccable (our room was cleaned twice a day), and the breakfast was varied and plentiful, with the option of à la carte dining. The location is excellent, and guests can enjoy the spa at the Bivio Hotel, just steps away. Even our furry four-legged friend was treated like royalty.

14/12/2025: Atmosphere: The place is very welcoming and warm. The staff, very friendly and always available, also makes it unique. Service: The service is top-notch. As soon as you're seated, you'll be served a tray from which you can choose your favorite bread, accompanied by a small plate of flavored butter. Food: The food is purely traditional. I recommend the pizzoccheri, onion soup, sciat, and polenta and bresaola gnocchi. After your coffee, they always bring a small dessert (spuglie, chocolates). Price: The price is very much in line with the service and food. It's become a regular. We'll definitely be back.

29/12/2025: We stayed over the Christmas period and had a truly wonderful time. The receptionist was courteous and helpful in accommodating our requests, and recommended some good places to eat. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with every comfort (the hairdryer has a low voltage, so if you have long hair, it's best to bring your own). The breakfast was very generous, and we lacked nothing. We'll definitely be happy to return!

18/12/2025: Very nice hotel with attention to detail. The young lady who welcomed us was very kind. The breakfast was simple, but had everything you need for a good breakfast; the cakes were delicious. The room was spacious with separate areas and very clean. The hotel is close to the center and convenient for getting around town.

On a Livigno scale – the food is delicious! Each dish is refined, with fresh ingredients and flavors that stay in your memory. I wholeheartedly recommend it, a good place for a relaxing evening.

14/01/2026: If I go to Livigno, the Hotel Cristallo is my go-to. Unfortunately, I almost always only manage to stay for 2 or 3 nights, and I've even been unable to find a single room available. But I can explain why perfectly well. The thoughtfulness, Maura's hospitality, Lorenza's excellent cuisine, and the kindness of all their staff contribute to making every guest's stay a success.

20/12/2025: Excellent! 5 well-deserved stars. We've been coming to this hotel for three years now (that's saying something) on ​​a half-board basis, and we also stayed at the sister hotel Valtellina a year before. The staff is magnificent, as is the welcome. The owner, Maura, is very kind and always available. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of Livigno's center and some ski slopes. There's a heated locker for your ski equipment and a covered garage (so your car doesn't freeze). The bus stop is in front of the hotel (blue and red lines), and the yellow and green lines are a three-minute walk away—a truly strategic location for reaching every part of Livigno. The addition of the wellness area is a plus; after a day of skiing, spending an hour in the hotel spa is very relaxing. Then we continued to the city center for a bit of shopping and a visit to the Christmas markets before dinner to stretch our legs a bit. Breakfast buffet with eggs and toast included in the price (gluten- and lactose-free options are also available—the omelette is highly recommended!) A la carte dinner with multiple choices (accommodating everyone from carnivores to vegetarians to fish eaters—a very varied selection. The meat, cheese, fish, soups, pasta, and salads change daily, including traditional dishes. Delicious desserts; the strudel, crème brulee, panna cotta, gelato, Nutella cake, and tiramisu are highly recommended—we tried almost everything.) We only stayed in Livigno in the winter, but we'll be back in the summer/spring with our dog—an extra star because the hotel is super pet-friendly and is also home to two friendly dogs who will brighten up your day. Excellent price - Free ski pass (low season) + half-board hotel. Unbeatable value for money.

20/01/2026: We absolutely LOVED Camana Veglia. We had the best experience there for dinner that we went back twice. The food was excellent, it was honestly so so delicious. Our favourites were the venison spaghetti, salt cod ravioli and the pigeon. The chefs are very talented and it was the best meal we had in Livigno. The service was amazing, we had the lovely Moroccan man serving us both times and he was so friendly and helpful with the menu. The Sommelier too was great, we had some delicious local wines and he helped us pick the best ones. A really great experience. Would come back to Livigno just to eat there again!

You're paying for a quiet place, top-notch service, exquisite wine, superb bread in three different flavors, all homemade, top-notch presentation, and top-notch wine. 09/01/2026: We had dinner this evening, 2 people with a 6-course vegetarian menu... We were truly satisfied, an experience of unique flavors... Warm, welcoming and intimate atmosphere... The elegance of the presentation of the dishes by the very professional, knowledgeable and super kind waiter was truly unique... I don't know if the chef always makes an appearance in the dining room, we were very pleased especially seeing the passion he puts into his work despite being so young... Oh I forgot, we were also given some jams as gifts... We will definitely be back 😊😊

31/12/2025: Tonight was the worst evening at the Pastorella since we started coming here, and I've been coming to Livigno since 1976. The menu wasn't delivered as ordered. Appetizers were served with a main course, and a pizza, intended as the main course, arrived in between. A main course, sliced ​​steak with cheese, came as an appetizer. Then came a portion of spaghetti and another portion of sliced ​​steak with cheese. The three pizzas, intended as the main course, still hadn't arrived after an hour and a half! When we asked the person in charge, the pizza chef came to our table! We asked for the bill, excluding the missing items, and received the full bill! As we were leaving the restaurant, I asked to speak to the person in charge to clarify the situation. The current manager is the brother of our acquaintances who apparently handed over the hotel and restaurant to him in 2024. During our conversation, he suddenly couldn't speak German or English. This surprised me greatly, as he had been able to greet us without any problems in the adjacent perfumery for the past two decades. It was very disappointing that we were dismissed from the restaurant with the words "go back to Germany." Suddenly, he apparently spoke English! Furthermore, he suddenly didn't recognize his sister-in-law, with whom we spent our first nights in 1976 at his parents' house! My recommendation after tonight: go somewhere else!!!

29/12/2025: We dined here twice during our vacation and were always very pleased. The service from all the girls was friendly, courteous, and efficient. My compliments to the wait staff. The food was good, the prices fair. We ordered both first and second courses, as well as pizzas, and everything was excellent. I recommend it.

26/12/2025: We found this place on our second-to-last day. We really enjoyed the dinner. The prices were reasonable, and everything we ordered was delicious. Compared to other places we'd visited in Livigno, Canoe was unbeatable! We returned for lunch.

06/03/2025: Modern, casual, cosy and with a good vibe, fair priced and homemade food above average. Safe choice for all occasions. Great selection of wines. Best coffee Americano ever (not really an Americano - way too much good flavour).
