25/02/2026: During the Olympics, we were welcomed by the Hotel Montanina. The rooms are very nice, all in wood, in keeping with the style of a charming mountain village like Livigno. Breakfast and the restaurant also offer a variety of excellent quality products; try their apple strudel. The staff's professional attitude towards guests is mediocre and could be improved. Depending on their origin or role, they were classified as either first-class or second-class. Despite this, it was an experience to remember. 🙂

Always positive, staff super friendly...but regazzi🙏🙏you have to serve guinness in a pint glass, a guinness pint glass, not in a heineken litre or half litre glass...learn how to pour a PINT of guinness PLEASE, online or by guinness themselves, this is a positive suggestion, NOT a complaint...When i boil spaghetti i dont break it in half...Grazie

14/03/2026: We had lunch at Il Focolare and the experience was truly positive. The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Another much-appreciated aspect is that dogs are allowed, which isn't always a given. The kitchen offers sophisticated dishes, always rooted in the local area, using quality ingredients. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality of the dishes. A small but very welcome detail: the homemade butter, truly excellent, adds an extra touch to the experience. We had bresaola with scatt, pizzoccheri, and, to finish, polenta with wagyu. Everything was truly delicious!

07/03/2026: We visited the restaurant while sightseeing. We chose it based on the wide selection of dishes. When we arrived, the waiters seated us and it seemed like the restaurant would be of a high standard. We waited about 45 minutes for our food despite the restaurant being half empty. No one came to ask us if we wanted something to drink, not even during the meal. We wanted to have dessert, but with the total lack of interest from the staff, we let our appetite wane and decided to eat it somewhere else. The pizza was good, but the wait, the service and the overall impression actually ruined the good food. I would definitely not go here again.

09/01/2026: We had dinner this evening, 2 people with a 6-course vegetarian menu... We were truly satisfied, an experience of unique flavors... Warm, welcoming and intimate atmosphere... The elegance of the presentation of the dishes by the very professional, knowledgeable and super kind waiter was truly unique... I don't know if the chef always makes an appearance in the dining room, we were very pleased especially seeing the passion he puts into his work despite being so young... Oh I forgot, we were also given some jams as gifts... We will definitely be back 😊😊

14/12/2025: Atmosphere: The place is very welcoming and warm. The staff, very friendly and always available, also makes it unique. Service: The service is top-notch. As soon as you're seated, you'll be served a tray from which you can choose your favorite bread, accompanied by a small plate of flavored butter. Food: The food is purely traditional. I recommend the pizzoccheri, onion soup, sciat, and polenta and bresaola gnocchi. After your coffee, they always bring a small dessert (spuglie, chocolates). Price: The price is very much in line with the service and food. It's become a regular. We'll definitely be back.

05/02/2026: Let's start with the positives: The ambiance is wonderful, the wine very carefully selected and perfectly paired with the food. Ultimately, however, we felt the value for money wasn't quite right. Unfortunately, the mussels weren't entirely fresh during our visit, and some of the dishes seemed rather bland and unimaginative. The portions aren't really designed for a large appetite. While the food is beautifully presented, overall I'd say it's more style than substance. Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening – with room for improvement.

14/01/2026: If I go to Livigno, the Hotel Cristallo is my go-to. Unfortunately, I almost always only manage to stay for 2 or 3 nights, and I've even been unable to find a single room available. But I can explain why perfectly well. The thoughtfulness, Maura's hospitality, Lorenza's excellent cuisine, and the kindness of all their staff contribute to making every guest's stay a success.

20/12/2025: Excellent! 5 well-deserved stars. We've been coming to this hotel for three years now (that's saying something) on ​​a half-board basis, and we also stayed at the sister hotel Valtellina a year before. The staff is magnificent, as is the welcome. The owner, Maura, is very kind and always available. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of Livigno's center and some ski slopes. There's a heated locker for your ski equipment and a covered garage (so your car doesn't freeze). The bus stop is in front of the hotel (blue and red lines), and the yellow and green lines are a three-minute walk away—a truly strategic location for reaching every part of Livigno. The addition of the wellness area is a plus; after a day of skiing, spending an hour in the hotel spa is very relaxing. Then we continued to the city center for a bit of shopping and a visit to the Christmas markets before dinner to stretch our legs a bit. Breakfast buffet with eggs and toast included in the price (gluten- and lactose-free options are also available—the omelette is highly recommended!) A la carte dinner with multiple choices (accommodating everyone from carnivores to vegetarians to fish eaters—a very varied selection. The meat, cheese, fish, soups, pasta, and salads change daily, including traditional dishes. Delicious desserts; the strudel, crème brulee, panna cotta, gelato, Nutella cake, and tiramisu are highly recommended—we tried almost everything.) We only stayed in Livigno in the winter, but we'll be back in the summer/spring with our dog—an extra star because the hotel is super pet-friendly and is also home to two friendly dogs who will brighten up your day. Excellent price - Free ski pass (low season) + half-board hotel. Unbeatable value for money.

On a Livigno scale – the food is delicious! Each dish is refined, with fresh ingredients and flavors that stay in your memory. I wholeheartedly recommend it, a good place for a relaxing evening.

29/12/2025: We dined here twice during our vacation and were always very pleased. The service from all the girls was friendly, courteous, and efficient. My compliments to the wait staff. The food was good, the prices fair. We ordered both first and second courses, as well as pizzas, and everything was excellent. I recommend it.

26/12/2025: We found this place on our second-to-last day. We really enjoyed the dinner. The prices were reasonable, and everything we ordered was delicious. Compared to other places we'd visited in Livigno, Canoe was unbeatable! We returned for lunch.
