28/09/2024: Siamo stati in questo rifugio "casualmente " durante una visita alla vicina diga. Abbiamo trovato posto all'interno, cosa non semplice considerato che eravamo un gruppo di 10 persone....forse anche perché il tempo che non era dei migliori per cui l'affluenza era ridotta. Il personale si è dimostrato subito gentile ed accogliente e tutti abbiamo mangiato bene. Il conto adeguato, locale pulito e curato. Poi, il fatto che abbia delle regole per le quali la gente si lamenta, non mi sembra un problema...se non c'è servizio al banco (ed è chiaramente scritto) probabilmente ci sarà il motivo e chi gestisce non è tenuto a giustificarsi.

17/04/2025: Pausa para un café y cerveza después de un esquí por la mañana. Perfecto aspecto orientado al sur para sentarse al aire libre bajo el sol. Servicio amable y rápido.

14/04/2025: Egentlig hyggelig atmosfære. Stinkoen var ok - carbonaraen var ren æggeblomme. Maden var meget salt.. Mamma bag kasseapperatet havde aldrig hørt nogen klage før, men vi kunne få en ny eller en håndfuld bolcher som kompensation... plejer ikke at klage, men hvis man ikke kan lave carbonara i Italien hvor så.

03/05/2025: El tren se retrasó 2 horas así que decidió tomar una cerveza y comida. Muy contentos de que nos preguntamos en Café de la Gare. Precioso día soleado, así que tengo una mesa afuera. Pedí comida y cerveza. Comida italiana muy agradable, que disfrutamos. Y fue agradable compartir varias cervezas mientras esperábamos. ¡Solo un buen lugar para estar!

29/05/2025: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante e devo dire che la qualità del cibo era molto buona e molto bene è andato pure il servizio, il titolare una persona molto alla mano e simpatico, non è scontato trovarne così, peraltro il locale molto bello internamente, con una bella mise en place ed una vista stupenda, ci tornerò.

20/04/2025: Una stella per la posizione e per la vista ma per quanto riguarda il cibo lasciamo perdere. Il locale era pieno di stranieri probabilmente ospiti dell'albergo. Abbiamo ordinato due primi : Pizzoccheri per me e tagliatelle con i funghi per mia moglie. Orribili, entrambi forse riscaldati per la quinta/sesta volta. Capisco il pizzocchero ma la tagliatella che ha una cottura di 5 minuti non la posso accettare. Forse quello che più conta per loro è accontentare gruppi stranieri e fare soldi mentre fare bene da mangiare non è la priorità del titolare. Avrei voluto far venire al tavolo lo chef e fargli assaggiare i piatti ma mia moglie ha preferito lasciar perdere. Anche i prezzi sarebbero da discutere. Mai più. Italiani state alla larga !!!!

29/09/2024: Easily accessible refuge. Despite the cold day, the dining room was not heated at all. Too bad, even the food was lukewarm (polenta with tomino and speck and buckwheat ravioli with Bitto). The portion of the first course was a little small.

15/09/2024: Unfortunately, and I'm really sorry, beyond a pleasant welcome, we ate really badly and at an excessive cost, compared to other refuges, even though we understood the difficulty of supplies: pizzoccheri with little cheese and vegetables, not good reheated tagliatelle I'm really sorry... because, given the context, I don't understand how you can't find excellent raw materials nearby... I've seen cows... and good, cheap butter and cheese I think...

02/06/2025: Dinner on a Saturday in June 4 adults and 4 children. Simple and excellent quality cuisine. Courteous and fast service

27/04/2025: Los camareros muy agradable y amable. Tuvimos un aperitivo solo y pedimos también dos platos pequeños y un postre con dos cucharas ya que no tuvimos mucho tiempo. Porciones y calidad de la comida súper buena. El vino recomendado también era de primera. El ambiente podría haber sido genial. Lo que molestó mucho fue el dueño estresado que trató a alguien en la cocina tan mal que lo escuchamos sentado afuera y arruinó el lugar tranquilo. Un comportamiento absoluto de “no ir” si usted es un anfitrión.

14/03/2025: I occasionally go to the ice cream shop and it has never happened that I didn't hear the cone creak or see it crack while being filled with ice cream. And, although the average level of service is already poor, on more than one occasion it has been unacceptable. While I served myself at the counter, my girlfriend remained at the table waiting for a waitress to ask her for her order. No one ever arrived.

02/05/2025: Esto es lo que yo llamo una auténtica trampa turística. Lo que parece ser un excelente restaurante basado en apariencias exteriores, resultó ser una verdadera decepción. Llegamos bastante cerca de la hora de cierre de la cocina, que el empleado nos advirtió rápidamente. Rápidamente elegimos un aperitivo y los platos principales. Nos quedamos francamente sorprendidos cuando el plato principal llegó antes del aperitivo! Así que está bien, el plato en sí era de 14 € y era literalmente solo materia prima. ¡Jamón, queso y champiñones! Sí, hongos crudos. ¡Los ñoquis que pedí eran incluso más baratos que esto! Los ñoquis en sí eran salados y parecían una comida pre-preparada que podía microondas en casa. Total decepción. No recomiendo.

03/04/2025: En Tirano durante 2 días y se topó con este restaurante, ya que parecía ocupado, así que debe ser bueno. Encontramos que todos los lugares para comer y beber en la ciudad no estaban todos juntos, sino repartidos. El personal era amable mientras nos sentábamos a pedir nuestra comida y bebida. Tenía raviolis a 14€ , mi pareja tenía lasaña a 13€ , agua a 4€ y vino blanco a 9€ así que buenos precios y la comida era muy agradable.

14/03/2025: I read useless and obvious comments, fixed menu aside, which I also don't love, the Dogana Vegia turns out to be a unique place, a dive into the rural past and the history of the mountains, a museum! The owner Dario has a particular character, the service certainly isn't five star, but if you know how to take it it's also nice.. The cost of €70 may also be questionable, but not exaggerated and the place is worth it all. The food is excellent and plentiful. The venue has a unique and unparalleled charm with a romantic atmosphere. If you are not hungry and don't want or can't spend this amount, this is not the place for you.

12/03/2025: Bellissimo locale, romantico, caldo, accogliente, unico. Un museo della montagna. Purtroppo menu fisso. Cucina buona, prezzi elevati: Il titolare un personaggio da saper prendere. Locale non per tutti.

21/06/2025: My friends and I are touring a lot of Western Europe and we decided to stay here so we could hike the mountain trails nearby. I can confidently say this was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and AMAZING STAFF. They were all very welcoming and even provided umbrellas to us because it was raining while we were unloading our car. Unbelievable experience, highly recommend!!

15/06/2025: I didn't stay but only had lunch after a scooter ride to the Spluga Pass. Very good food and friendly staff. The view from the outside tables is pleasant and relaxing.
