12/10/2025: Caffè 58 is the usual place to have breakfast, at least for me. The ginseng and brioche are good. The only downside is the prices here: a small ginseng costs 1.50, in other places 1.30-1.40... but here it's very good. The place is always very busy.

19/06/2025: We stumbled upon Cavallino by chance, taking the wrong road to Bologna. We wanted a sandwich and we were very satisfied. Rich and tasty sandwiches, like grandma's, excellent coffee and very honest prices. Even though the place was full, they were quick with the service. A family-run place where you can breathe harmony and friendliness. There is also a garden for those who prefer to enjoy a lunch in the greenery. The backbone of this very welcoming place is a small lady with eyes full of life who revealed to me that she opened this place 35 years ago precisely by making sandwiches... thank you!

The portions were too generous, and to reduce costs and increase sales, they should be smaller (so I ordered a second course as well). Service: Good and friendly, truly worthy. Atmosphere: Needs revisiting. Advice to customers: Try it, you won't regret it! Advice to management: Invest some of your profits by hiring a consultant to reorganize the space and make it more welcoming. Revise the menu to give yourself a distinct identity, based on the most popular dishes currently available. Expand the wine list. If you do everything I suggest, increase the average price by €2-3 (at least) per course.

13/05/2025: The place is exactly how I like it, it feels like being in a modern restaurant in a city much bigger than Milan. It reminded me of some restaurants in Shanghai. Very well-kept. The food didn't convince me completely, even the menu needs a bit of a makeover in my opinion. However, the restaurant is so beautiful that I will definitely return.

13/05/2025: I had dinner with friends from a consortium (about 20 people) last night. Aperitif with refined appetizers served standing up with the staff offering them to us (not a buffet). Dinner seated - first course second course - very good. Dessert truly excellent. A special note goes to the service, waiters very very attentive, helpful, and competent. A rarity these days. 10 cum laude. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Well done.

It has a large outdoor garden and ample unattended parking. I've personally been there for several events, including weddings and simple family lunches. Highly recommended.
