07/06/2025: Great hotel in a truly beautiful location. The garden is a true highlight, a lovely place to relax and stroll. The only drawback that bothered me was that there was no fresh coffee from a vending machine at breakfast. Unfortunately, they only serve filter coffee from pump jugs, which isn't befitting a 4-star hotel. Perhaps this could be changed, as Italy is the country where there's always fresh coffee ❤️🇮🇹

13/05/2025: The place is on the Navigli, with a lot of people coming and going that makes it all a bit chaotic (normal in tourist places). The price of the buffet with cocktails is €15 (increased compared to last year when we came). I found little offer in the buffet food and the gentleman (I think Sri Lankan) complained about the fact that customers leave the plates in front of the buffet table. Put up a bin!!!! Or a small sign. Then another sore point, everyone outside smokes, it's an indecent thing! Those like my mother who are bothered by cigarette smoke cannot eat in peace, not to mention my partner who is pregnant. I understand that this law means more work and "pain" for restaurateurs, but if it is a law (a very sensible one I would say) it must be respected. I don't think we will go back again.

12/05/2025: The aperitif costs 15 euros. If you order an extra glass of wine, you will be served the most expensive wine on the menu. I advise against ordering more wine.

15/04/2025: Outdoor trip and Sunday lunch with two children; As soon as we arrived they immediately asked for the children, and within a few minutes the fusilli with ragù made by them arrived, really good. We tasted goose breast off the menu and a platter of cured meats and cheeses with fried polenta, tasty but different from the standard flavours, then came His Majesty's boiled meats with a trio of sauces made by them, a delicacy, a small note being the desserts where in our opinion there is little choice. In the menu you can see all the owners' Piedmontese roots. Staff available and ready to accommodate all customer needs. Advised.

23/03/2025: Good quality unfortunately high prices and minimal portions, the Milanese cutlet for 2 or 3 pp at more than €40 is fine for 1.5 pp

26/10/2024: Pleasant breakfast, coffee and croissants, with 4 chats with the bartenders. No fashionistas, no influencers, no twists, not instagrammable. Honest traditional Milanese bar, with a panda parked in a double row with painter's buckets, not scooters and assisted pedaling.

20/04/2025: Classic Enoteca with traditional, warm decor and quality wines. Beautiful atmosphere for the aperitivo. Very pleasant service.

21/04/2025: Password: tradition. If you are looking for a typical Lombard restaurant a few steps from Milan, this is the right place. The cuisine is typical Lombard and here it is served without pomp, unlike so-called "Trattorie". The environment makes you take a step back in time but if you are looking for tradition it is right that this is the case if on the contrary you need gourmet and minimalistic design it is not your place. Here you will find simplicity and authenticity. The food is good and cooked in an authentic way without brush strokes on the plate or edible flowers but I assure you that nothing will be left over on the plates.

24/02/2025: Siamo andati in compagnia x mangiare la cassola pochissimo antipasto ..cassola te la portavo anche due volte ma con pochissima polenta dove dovevi chiederla due panini sfigati a persona.. delle persone non volevano mangiare la cassola hanno chiesto la cotoletta e gli hanno rifilato il cordon bleu e abbiamo pagato 40 euro a testa secondo me il prezzo spropositato per ciò che abbiamo avuto non ci torneremo più almeno io personalmente

12/06/2025: Very good pizzas. We were very surprised to find them empty. The service was quite slow considering there were only five people in the entire dining room, and the waiter was overly friendly. He even sat at our table without our permission. We should have limits on everything. Otherwise, we highly recommend eating here.

23/03/2025: Having breakfast for 3 euros cappuccino and 🥐 in Milan is very good. Atmosphere of people who appreciate good Italian coffee. Advisable. Next to the Calais hotel Bonjorno sincere and kind.

10/06/2025: Il Boscaccio was the perfect restaurant to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday. They reserved a private room just for us, which made the party even more special. The staff was very kind and helpful, (Fatima, Patrizia and Laura) always ready to satisfy our every request. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. I was very impressed by the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff, which made our experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to Il Boscaccio for other events and I recommend it to everyone! Thank you for the wonderful experience! And a special thanks to the owner

17/06/2025: The food is okay, but not great. Some of the staff weren’t very friendly. Happy hour costs €11, which includes a buffet and one drink.

If I had to make a note, the rice was too watered down and the parsley hid the flavor of the squid. I would have preferred to give 3.5 stars but that's not possible
