10/12/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and variety of lunch options (hot dishes, sandwiches, salads, and puzze). The place is small and simply furnished, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is unusually friendly, right in the heart of Milan!

10/12/2025: Small bar located between Gioia and Garibaldi, a few tables outside and a few tables. Inside. You can find everything you need for breakfast and for snacks or aperitifs. Good coffee and again at €1, staff. Very kind. Absolutely recommended!

30/07/2025: I ordered a vegan dish, vegetable caponata. It's basically an appetizer, a small portion, and costs €16. Had I known, I would have ordered a side dish and spent less. I asked for water, which was brought after a prompt. I tried my kids' margherita pizza, which thankfully had some left over, given the portion size of the caponata, and it was good. The atmosphere was very pleasant; we dined upstairs, al fresco. It's a shame the service was a bit distracted and this dish was truly ridiculous, but otherwise it seems like a place worth going to every now and then.

04/12/2025: We stopped in on Sunday for pizza. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, the staff was fast and very friendly, the pizza was excellent, and the dessert was fantastic! We were so satisfied.

19/10/2025: My dad and I ate at this restaurant on the Navigli canals and had a wonderful time! We ordered a Milanese cutlet and a Milanese risotto with ossobuco: both delicious, impeccably prepared. The cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, pan-fried with butter as tradition dictates—truly perfect. The risotto, creamy and fragrant with saffron, accompanied by a tender ossobuco, was a dish to remember. The restaurant is welcoming, with a splendid location on the Navigli canals, and the staff is kind and helpful. 🔸 I recommend booking, as it's often busy (and rightfully so!). I will definitely be back, because finding such authentic and refined cuisine in Milan is no small feat. 👏🇮🇹

16/09/2025: I wish there was an option to put rate a restaurant with zero stars. The service at the restaurant was just horrible. We asked if we could be seated for drinks at 15:30. We were denied service for no reason. Apparently we needed to order food to have a few spritzs at the place. The waiter and the waitress were both rude. When we thought there was a mis communication with the waiter outside, my boyfriend went inside to make sure that there was no miscommunication. But the waitress inside said that they couldnt serve us drinks. Mind you there were people sitting outside with just drinks and small coffee cups on their tables. This felt a little discriminatory. The people sitting were caucasian and we are brown. I have lived in Germany for 5 years. When we spoke to people sitting at the tables, the waitress came shooed us away asking us to not disturb their customers. We apologised to the customers in case they were disturbed but they said they were happy to help. This kind of behavior from people working in the service industry is atrocious. I loved every day i spent in Milan. But this discriminatory behavior has over shadowed all the good feelings i had about the city. I would have confronted the waiter/waitress there more about their discriminatory behavior but unfortunately we had a flight to catch in three hours and didnt have time to teach people basic human etiquettes. Denying paying customers during non lunch hours is a very very very bad business idea.

01/11/2025: Terrible. A good start, then the abyss. Tasteless main courses, polenta "no comment," frozen gorgonzola (I had to wait to eat it because it was melting), no cutlery to eat it, one waiter taking away the bread while the other brings it back, lack of cooperation. A character wandering around the tables begging. Then the price—a charcuterie board, a risotto, a stew, a piece of gorgonzola cheese, and a bottle of prosecco—was exorbitant. If I'd known better, I'd have gone to Cannavacciolo, or McDonald's, where I'd have saved a lot. It's definitely better than yours, both in terms of quality and price.

08/05/2025: La comida es muy buena y se obtiene una buena relación calidad-precio, el personal es muy amable. En el lado negativo está la visita. Teníamos una mesa afuera, y había una cola para entrar al restaurante. Los visitantes en la fila nos golpearon con sus bolsas y se inclinaron sobre nosotros para ver el menú en la pared, totalmente sin cortesía ni respeto. Otros invitados que se sentaron afuera aullaban y gritaban. El restaurante es muy concurrido y ruidoso, y hay mucho calor en el interior. Quizás tuvimos mala suerte que citó durante el almuerzo ocupado, pero sigue siendo una pena porque la comida es excelente!

01/05/2025: Almorzamos aquí. El precio de la comida está bien, por dentro hace mucho calor, no hay aire acondicionado. En el y, un restaurante promedio, nada especial.

02/11/2025: A couple of times a year, even though I no longer live in Milan but 80km away, I have to stop by Danilo's if I want to eat the freshest and best fish imaginable. He never disappoints. Thank you for being there and for maintaining these high standards for years.

02/11/2025: A pleasant discovery! A seafood restaurant with a truly extensive menu, especially suited to those who love raw fish. The wine selection is also excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and very elegant, though overlooked by the entrance from the street.

08/11/2025: Very kind and welcoming. Excellent and plentiful dishes. I highly recommend the paella. Excellent value for money.

04/11/2025: Very welcoming and friendly staff, the food was quite complete and delicious for the price, the fish seemed fresh and very well prepared, I would definitely return for a family dinner.

19/09/2025: The lemon pasta was great, but one of the servers was quite rude to me. He was kind and welcoming to the other folks, so I wonder if it’s because I’m Asian, American, a young girl dining solo or if he just picked me as his target of the day. People have been so kind to me in Milan so this was pretty disappointing.

19/09/2025: "If you want to be treated badly, this is the perfect place!" The service from the elderly woman was unpleasant. It was the first time I'd ever encountered a waitress who spat out, "You eat so slowly!", and it ruined the meal. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand why this restaurant was so popular.

20/11/2025: I ate here today and it was awful. The clerk took a while to give me the receipt and generally didn't seem very knowledgeable (maybe she was new, I can understand). The poke, however, was poor and the fish was of poor quality, tasteless, and the rice was so cold it seemed raw. The fish gave me a stomachache all afternoon.

08/11/2025: I've read various reviews, and I've decided to share my own. I have to say that the food was both great in quantity and quality. The drinks were also good. The staff were helpful, with quick and friendly staff. Since it was my niece's baptism, the owners prepared a buffet with balloons, stuffed animals, confetti, and so on. What more could you ask for? Even though I don't want to mention the price we paid, we couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you so much.

17/11/2025: Nice place and very good service. The only thing that was really annoying was the small space inside. The price was also good.

15/09/2025: I'd say it's best to avoid it. Frozen stuff put in the microwave. Really low quality, better to spend a few euros more. Or, if you don't have much money to spend, I recommend going to the supermarket; it would still be better than this place.

06/09/2025: Despite being centrally located, it overlooks an almost entirely pedestrian street, which is busy but not crowded. Aside from that, the cocktails are good and the staff are friendly. Prices are in line with Milan.

27/10/2025: A very nice little café by the train station, very affordable yet clean, tasty, and has a few vegetarian options and delicious coffee with vegan milk. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to find here for vegans, but it's highly recommended for anyone else, or vegans, who just want a coffee while waiting for a train.

25/10/2025: A cafe in a good location next to the metro and train station, where you can eat a croissant. 🥐 I recommend it, as well as a panino and a good espresso.
