09/06/2026: I discovered this place on vacation last week and haven't left! Delicious lake fish, delicious pizza, equally delicious desserts, and excellent value! Located on a side street in the center of Desenzano, it has a truly charming atmosphere! The staff are top-notch...they make you feel at home! This will be a regular stop for me, as I often visit Lake Garda!

30/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. I had the pleasure of trying the fixed-price business lunch menu. A varied vegetable buffet, including some unique condiments. A varied selection of first and second courses, both meat and seafood. Excellent value, very good food, and generous portions. I will definitely be back.

01/06/2026: The place is poorly maintained. Too touristy. The octopus was tough and the purple mashed potatoes that accompanied it were too dry. The pumpkin pie was dry. The truffle was lacking in flavor and nonexistent. The risotto with Amarone was decent, but it tasted like it was made with red wine. Honestly, I wouldn't return. And I wouldn't recommend it.

27/03/2026: We were greeted warmly and overwhelmed by the delicious treats, from small baked goods to cakes. Unfortunately, there was no seating in the shop; otherwise, I would have tried one of the cakes right away 😅😋. The value for money is excellent 👌. 02/04/2026: Love it Desenzano is a very convenient roadside bar, perfect for a quick stop. Parking is available, which is always a great plus. The coffee is excellent, the pastries are delicious, and it's also perfect for an aperitivo. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately at ease. I'll gladly return ☕️

28/05/2026: Went twice during our stay and enjoyed it every time. The entrance is a bit deceiving as it's down the left hand side towards the back. However it is a lovely place to eat and has a nice atmosphere. The pizzas & pasta were superb and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend eating here.

22/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our stay. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting. It was particularly annoying that the pool was unusable. That was precisely why we booked the hotel, but it wasn't clearly communicated during the booking process that it was closed or unavailable. This is a major drawback for a holiday on Lake Garda. Furthermore, we weren't even allowed to enjoy a coffee outside, which we found completely incomprehensible and made our stay even more unpleasant. Overall, the price-performance ratio was completely unacceptable. The online description unfortunately doesn't reflect the actual holiday experience. We would therefore not book this hotel again.

17/05/2026: Nice lakefront hotel, ideal for a getaway (if you can handle kids). Pros: • Service: Friendly staff, good dinner, and excellent, plentiful breakfast. • Location: Beautiful lakefront property. Cons: • Spa not relaxing: This is not an adults-only hotel. There were lots of screaming children diving in; the lifeguard on duty didn't enforce the silence rule. Furthermore, rubber slippers are not included (you'll need to bring your own), which is unusual for a hotel with a spa. • Room and amenities: Pillows definitely too thin. There's no kettle for herbal teas (which can be requested at reception) or a welcome bottle of water, details you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.

The food is authentic, delicious, and homemade, just like in the olden days: traditional dishes prepared with care and love by the owner, which is evident in every bite. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and traditional, transporting you back to a time when cuisine was simple yet heartfelt. The atmosphere is rustic, traditional, and unfussy, just as you'd expect from a true village trattoria. The service is friendly and welcoming, with a sincere hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. All this accompanied by truly pleasant background music by Radio Birikina, making the experience even more special. It was like taking a trip down memory lane, rediscovering the flavors of yesteryear in an authentic, warm atmosphere. A place to definitely return to.

20/05/2026: Thanks to Stefano from Travel Garda for introducing us to this corner of paradise, located on a central street that leads straight to wellness. The hotel is right in the center of Desenzano: the owners are incredibly kind and friendly, the restaurant is delicious, and the room was clean and very spacious. Plus, the lake view from the room is a dream. Thank you so much!

07/06/2026: A very nice, unpretentious spot for an ice cream or aperitif by the lake. Beautiful views of the lake (I recommend going at sunset).

30/05/2026: I went for lunch today... very nice place as described in the other posts, the staff doesn't do table service but is very kind and efficient... the sandwich was a bit so-so... but the view made up for it all! The only downside was the music was too loud and inappropriate in style... it was hard to chat.

08/05/2026: Very good à la carte cuisine, including pizza. The prices are very reasonable, and the setting is breathtaking thanks to its magnificent terrace. I highly recommend booking a table on the terrace, which overlooks the lake. During dinner, you can watch the sunset, but even when the sun goes down, it's still breathtaking. The service is attentive, and everyone is very friendly. In conclusion, I highly recommend stopping by; you won't be disappointed.
