05/03/2025: I only stopped for an aperitif, I had a packed lunch, which obviously I ate on the wall. They were kind enough to lend me a knife to cut my sandwich. The spritz was super, as was the friendliness of the bartenders: highly recommended! Next time I'll leave the sandwich at home and have lunch with them.

02/03/2025: Brand new management. Very welcoming place. Excellent fish dishes accompanied by an excellent Franciacorta. Friendly and nice staff. Absolutely try the new menu. Historic business owned by the Lavelli family since 1922.

22/02/2025: Very welcoming place, I went with my partner and also a friend, very fresh and excellent raw shellfish, fantastic first courses, really excellent wine list, and all the staff very knowledgeable and attentive, all very friendly, we will be back as soon as possible

21/02/2025: Excellent fish restaurant with a vast combination of dishes outside the usual fish-based menu, both starters and first courses and second courses and a good choice of sales for lovers of good raw fish. On this occasion, the pizza with a high crust and very good should also be tasted. Staff are very helpful and with a smile ready to exchange a word with the diner. Top.

24/03/2025: I used to go there often when I was traveling by truck and the food was great in addition to the excellent service, now that unfortunately I no longer work I go back as a tourist when I'm passing through. Highly recommended place!!!!

22/03/2025: Unfortunately I didn't even have the chance to taste the food because they were disrespectful and unprofessional even before that. At 7.10pm I went to the restaurant to book, they told us that there was a table available for 8pm for 4 people, they showed it to us and specified that they had reserved it for me until 8am but not later, even though there were no further reservations later. I specified that having a 90 year old grandmother I needed just enough time to go and pick her up and take her to the restaurant. At 7.40pm the restaurant called me telling me that my table was no longer reserved and offered me a two-seater that they said would have fit four of us. Obviously refused.

16/03/2025: Small but well managed place. Courteous staff, fast service. The menu offers both land and sea dishes. I recommend the cod. Good value for money.

18/03/2025: Excellent restaurant, large parking lot also for trucks, excellent service, good and healthy food, fair price... two minutes from the Desenzano exit... everything ok, I will gladly return

20/02/2025: "La nostra esperienza culinaria presso il Panificio Daniele è stata davvero eccezionale. Dal momento in cui siamo entrati, l'atmosfera accogliente e la Sig.ra Sabrina, commessa preparata e attenta, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Le vetrine, attentamente curate, offrono una deliziosa gamma di prodotti artigianali, dolci e salati, tutti sapientemente realizzati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Abbiamo apprezzato la stagionalità dei dolci, in questo caso Frittelle di vari gusti e Lattughe, tutto freschissimo e buonissimo, soprattutto la crema pasticcera, deliziosa! Ogni boccone era una delizia e non vedo l'ora di tornare al Panificio Daniele per esplorare altre deliziose creazioni delle esperte mani di Daniele, il fornaio di via Castello. Altamente raccomandato!"

20/11/2024: The Daniele bakery is a historic shop on Via Castello and offers a wide selection of bread, artisan desserts, cakes, pizzas and focaccias. I recently tasted their rose cake, really tasty and soft, despite being a product packaged for a few days. I often take walnut sandwiches which remain very soft and ideal for filling for an aperitif. The service is always very friendly, helpful and smiling.

30/01/2025: There's not a great atmosphere in the place. But the food is really good and we ate there seven evenings. Always something different from pizza, pasta, fish and meat and dessert (ice cream) it was super tasty. The service is always friendly. We were allowed to take our dog in with us. We can recommend everything.

19/01/2025: Un pranzo meraviglioso in occasione del battesimo di mia “nipote” Sophie. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti di pesce, veramente deliziosi e poi 4 primi. La pasta era eccezionale e il dolce (tiramisù al caramello salato) era squisito, da acquolina in bocca! Personale davvero gentile e attento anche a chi ha intolleranze alimentari. Posto super consigliato!

11/01/2025: Returned to this hotel after 14 years... The Dubai suite is as beautiful as it was then... large jacuzzi, round bed and romantic atmosphere... recommended for those who want to pleasantly surprise their partner.

08/02/2025: Once we arrived in Desenzano, we were looking for a pizza to eat in the camper without spending too much, we found "il platter" on the various recommended places, we set off and found it just outside the centre, it seemed frequented mostly by locals...excellent we think... And in fact we were super satisfied. The friendly staff, you could see they knew what they were doing, a nice platter of pizza, half deviled meat and half ham and mushrooms around €16 for dinner for 2... highly recommended for the quality-price ratio... you can eat either take away or even there on site...
