This can, of course, drive a restaurant into ruin by claiming it's temporarily closed. This means you can't blindly trust the Google review.
The food was good and the server very friendly.

12/09/2025: A typical, timeless osteria. Just the way I like it. Excellent, tasty, yet simple food. Fair prices. A business lunch cost €12, very reasonable and well-deserved.
Friendly, cheerful, smiling, and honest service!
Reservations are recommended.

07/08/2025: A todos nos encantó nuestro vis IT a este restaurante, cada comida fue espléndida y el personal fue muy amable también, complaciente con nuestros intentos horribles de pronunciar algunos de los platos! 😅 Recomiendo absolutamente, mi papá estaba disfrutando tanto de su comida que no quería que terminara e incluso dijo que “lo único malo de esto es que una vez que haya terminado NO hay más! ”... así que creo que eso lo dice todo. Incluso vamos a volver para otra visita en nuestro último día por el lago de Garda.

20/09/2025: I haven't written a review in years, but these guys deserve it. Courtesy and professionalism in a meticulously maintained setting, where nothing is left to chance. Study and research are the watchwords to offer customers the finest ingredients available on the market. If you're looking for excellent quality and service, you've come to the right place. You always feel pampered, whether for a quick aperitif or a more formal dinner. Despite the location being in a small town in the lower Brescia area, I highly recommend it to those who still invest in quality and the art of fine dining.
01/05/2025: Everything is excellent; the only downside is the wait time. Waiting more than 40 minutes for platters when the place is empty seems excessive to me.

23/11/2025: We went to Antico Beccaria for dinner and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was well-kept, the atmosphere welcoming, and the dishes were truly well-prepared—traditional Brescian cuisine with a refined touch. The service was courteous, and the timing between courses was just right.
The only small hiccup: we didn't get the discount we expected, and the hostess didn't seem very accommodating. It's a shame, because otherwise everything was excellent.
Overall, I recommend it, both for the quality of the food and the elegant, tranquil atmosphere.

The only flaw is that the window display is broken.

17/08/2025: We stopped for a coffee before visiting the wonderful Oriolo Castle... the coffee was good accompanied by the kindness of the barista ready to suggest places to visit and places to eat... the bar is not very large but with attention to detail: full air and a fairly large outside area.

06/11/2025: There was a long wait for the appetizers, which were somewhat disappointing in both quantity and quality, but more than anything, our table (the only one on the enclosed veranda) was the last to be served. The risotto was good, but not with porcini mushrooms. It was expensive for the quality and service. It's a shame; the first visit had been a different experience.
31/10/2025: It was a really pleasant experience. The quality of the ingredients is very high, and the dishes enhance each one. The service is top-notch, present but not oppressive. I highly recommend the Franciacorta risotto and the calamari.

14/09/2025: The facility needs updating, with small, ugly rooms and a tiny bathroom. We were a group of 40 athletes on retreat, and the food was a disappointment. The portions were small, and if you wanted more you had to wait a long time. The meat was dry. I think it's only worth it if you frequent the restaurant and eat à la carte, as the menu is quite different. We had a terrible experience.
The garden is very beautiful, and the gym across the street is a great convenience.
