29/03/2025: We came a long way to come and eat here and then in the end we were disappointed. Food not very tasty and not good at all with a lot of seasoning, at lunch time around 12 and something little variety of dishes and some already finished. Service never mind lack of kindness, ask if it is the typical dish of the house and they tell you that it changes every day. It was to at least know what the dishes are like having never been here, even if it hadn't been like this it was to talk and find out. While you're eating they don't even ask you if you've finished eating, they take your plate when you haven't finished eating yet, dropping the fork on the table. I replied that I hadn't finished eating yet, and the waitress replied oh sorry! Because you ordered the coffee we thought you had finished eating, but my partner had ordered the coffee I hadn't ordered it as only he had spoken! And at the moment we were going to pay an effort greeting. The context is not the best, it seems abandoned and I would say not looked after at all. I honestly don't think we will go back again.

17/08/2024: Massimiliano is an excellent orator, as well as being a refined restaurateur. We had lunch without anyone else. Only customers on a sunny Saturday in August. The menu, minute but enormously rich in flavours, offers Tuscan dishes of unparalleled quality. Wise and rounded wine list. We drank a red by the glass and discovered at the end of the meal that it was a 13.5% curtefranca. Unexpected. And finally, off the menu, two almond paste desserts accompanied by passito di Pantelleria. He played radio Montecarlo, playing American songs from the 60s and 70s. In short, poetry in the kitchen, in the architecture of the environment and in all the humanity that we found in a place out of time. Come, you will be at Home.

02/03/2025: Scrivo questa recensione sul ristorante che avevo visitato anno fa e mi ero trovata benissimo. Riconfermo che anche ieri è stato così! Ci siamo recati a pranzo ieri e abbiamo mangiato benissimo! 2 primi (casoncelli e tagliatelle al ragù), 2 secondi (brasato con polenta che era squisito e tenerissimo e spezzatino con polenta ),1 quarto di vino rosso, 1 acqua naturale, 2 tiramisù e 2 caffè 40€ in totale. Le due sale erano piene ed ora capisco il perché! Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglio per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

17/02/2025: Sehr leckere Pizza war schnell zubereitet wie es sein sollte. Die Portion war nicht zu klein (ich bin satt geworden) kann es nur empfehlen man kann den Pizza Bäcker bei der Arbeit zuschauen.

14/10/2024: I have come to this pizzeria several times, but the last time I was disappointed, even though we had booked they seated us immediately, but they only came to take the order after half an hour and even the table next to us complained about the times. Good pizza, nothing to say but it's the complex that counts.

19/09/2024: I ordered home delivery with deliveroo. I can say that the pizza is worth it but with the service we are not there and not the fault of the rider who arrived breathless on his bicycle pedaling at maximum speed. The pizzeria probably has a lot of orders and can't keep up with them. The consequence is that the pizza arrived cold. If they tell you a time, add at least 1 hour more. I will not order here again because it is not a serious service.

27/02/2025: Historic restaurant located on a hill and equipped with a very cool veranda in the summer, a vintage restaurant deliberately kept in the original conditions of the property, the historic stained glass windows of the main hall are a feature, especially illuminated in the summer. Exactly one of those places you expect to find wandering through the Bergamo hills: no-frills substance, genuine welcome and welcoming location. The dishes are essentially of the local tradition but the wise Lucio does not disdain to indulge himself with some dishes such as Goulash or Paella. Dishes such as the Bergamo Foiade made by them stand out and are the real must of the place, excellent rabbit and cassoeula, the products are of quality and generally of local origin, the fantastic home-made gardener. Dishes upon request are also booked. The cellar is a flagship, a wide choice of wines, including high quality ones, which Lucio pampers in a cellar where he willingly accompanies anyone who requests it. I think the price is correct for what is offered.

09/02/2025: The stewed donkey meat with polenta was delicious!!

01/03/2025: Pizza for "Saturday night" at home. Particular note of merit for the fact that I asked for a pizza, it arrived after 50 minutes of delay and, what's more, wrong but the owner brought me the right one in 10 minutes and apologised. This for me is a fine example of professionalism and humanity which, as far as I'm concerned, is worth more than any pizza! Great pizza, I'll get it again!

20/03/2025: The place is nice and open, with an event nearby (though not at the time I was there). I chose it because it was the only one open after 3:00 PM. The service was acceptable, but the food was a real disappointment. I ordered casoncelli bergamaschi: the plating was decent, but the dish itself was terrible. Too much oil and, to top it off, burned. An experience I will definitely not repeat.
