14/06/2025: We just ate an excellent rare roast beef steak, the presentation of the dish was colorful and refined with mini bruschetta, polenta spinach decorated with orange and blueberries. The place is also super special full of tasty and well-finished details. Really worth stopping by. I would like to point out that we took a dish outside the fixed menu and I think the bill is fair and in line with the quality.

12/07/2025: Food was really good and well-priced. The service was alright, but nothing special, which might be a good thing actually. At least they weren’t too annoying. I loved my steak, it was grilled to perfection - medium rare just what I like. The wine was good too.

06/07/2025: Nice terrace on a cozy square. Fast service. Tasty pizza. Everything nice and warm and tasty. Will definitely come back.

11/05/2025: Siamo stati a mangiare per cena e abbiamo scelto un primo piatto che da menù diceva che era per minimo 2 persone ad un prezzo ma al momento di pagare ci viene fatto pagare 2 volte ovvero il prezzo da menu non era specificato. Premetto che il primo non era nulla di eccezionale per non parlare poi delle patatine fritte inzuppate nell'olio tutto accompagnato da una bottiglietta si ripeto una bottiglia piccola di vino fatta pagare la bellezza di 15 € quando in altre parti a quel prezzo la prendi grande e la stessa bottiglietta la paghi la metà. Dolci a un minimo di 8 euro.. poi il locale è anche un pochino buio e se andate con bambini piccoli ricordatevi di portare da casa il seggiolino perche a quanto pare ne hanno solo 1 a disposizione. Se arrivi dopo ti arrangi lo tieni in braccio. No comment.

10/05/2025: We went to eat for dinner and we chose a first course which on the menu said it was for a minimum of 2 people at a price but when it came time to pay we were made to pay twice or the price on the menu was not specified. Let me start by saying that the first one was nothing exceptional, not to mention the French fries soaked in oil all accompanied by a small bottle, I repeat, a small bottle of wine charged a whopping €15 when in other parts at that price you get a large one and you pay half the price for the same bottle. Sweets for a minimum of 8 euros.. then the place is also a little dark and if you go with small children remember to bring your own child seat because apparently they only have 1 available. If you arrive later you make do, hold him in your arms. No comment.

14/06/2025: The room smelled like sewage and was very noisy. We didn't even sleep there. As for the rest, I can't comment since I left right away.

11/07/2025: A refuge with a beautiful view of the Northern Grigna (Grignone) and Southern Grigna (Grignetta). The refuge's strong point, I'd say, is the food. The polenta with mushrooms and the cheese platter were excellent. I haven't seen the rooms, however. The location, however, isn't the best; there are no paths or meadows around, just a few tables and a small patch of meadow just below the refuge. The refuge is a little lower (about 70-80 meters in elevation, if I'm not mistaken) than the path that leads from Piani di Bobbio to Rifugio Grassi and Pizzo dei Tre Signori, from the fork just before Passo Del Toro. The path, however, is quite wide (recently widened) and suitable for families. I'm not sure what the path is like for ascending from below (Barzio or Introbio).

29/06/2025: Highly recommended refuge where you can eat excellent pizzoccheri, risotto with sausage and beef stew with polenta. Excellent desserts. Very fast and kind service!

31/07/2025: Nice location in a secluded area. Practical and spartan furnishings. Very thin-crust pizza with very little toppings of grilled, non-fresh vegetables. A disappointment! Not worth repeating.
