06/03/2026: We booked a table for three via email at the end of January for this evening, March 6th, and received a proper confirmation. Tonight we show up at the restaurant and, after standing at the entrance for about ten minutes, we're told the table isn't available because the entire place is booked for an event. We're told "we tried to call to let you know." Which may be true, of course. But when they don't answer the phone, do you have the reservation email? Did it take so long to write? For me, this is a place to forget.

01/02/2026: I've been to Pizzeria Ristorante Centauri, and I can only compliment the food: it was truly excellent. The pizzas were well-cooked, with quality ingredients, and the restaurant's dishes were also very tasty and carefully prepared. From this perspective, the experience was decidedly positive. The service was good: the staff were friendly and helpful, although there was a bit of a wait before being served, which could be improved. Unfortunately, the only real weakness was the ambiance. The lights were too dim and gave off a sad, unwelcoming feeling. Furthermore, the place felt more like a room thrown together without any particular care or personality, rather than a true restaurant with attention to detail. In conclusion, if you're going for good food, Centauri is an excellent choice; if you're also looking for a pleasant, warm atmosphere, there's definitely room for improvement.

20/12/2025: I've always liked this place; the atmosphere is welcoming and youthful. However, I found the prices unreasonably high for the very small portions and the quality of the ingredients. I had a truly excellent pasta e fagioli, but it was probably just a couple of fingers of soup. The €13.50 price tag isn't justified considering the humble ingredients—beans and pasta. The same goes for the €14 croque monsieur. By serving beer, they should adopt a more authentic approach with decent portions and address some of the unreasonable prices compared to the food.

06/01/2026: The property is located in a truly unique location, with a truly breathtaking view. The rooms are very beautiful, featuring wood. The beds are quite comfortable, and the rooms are warm. The bed linens and towels are clean. The breakfast is well-stocked, with some local products. There is a garage service, which was offered to us. The electrical system is a bit dated. There is no luggage rack, and unfortunately, I found some hair on the shower head in the shower.

16/12/2025: Comfortable hotel, also equipped with a restaurant, where you can sample some typical local dishes. Everything was excellent, highly recommended.

15/03/2026: An unforgettable place, with authentic, authentic flavors. We went for lunch on Sunday, March 15th. We had polenta with gorgonzola cheese for two, a delight. I then had pizzoccheri, and my partner had casoncelli, which were truly excellent. House wine and dessert came to just over €50 for two, a very fair price for what we ate. The restaurant is bright and comfortable, the staff is efficient but not intrusive, and the food is top-notch. Congratulations!!!

06/03/2026: A super pleasant experience. Excellent service and very kind and helpful staff. Welcoming, clean atmosphere that feels like home. Excellent and hot food. The casoncelli were fabulous, but the tenderness of the goulash captivated me! Excellent flavor. The wait times were average. It was my first time, but I'll definitely be back with my family.

17/01/2026: I've tried this restaurant/pizzeria several times. It's simply the best in the area. Friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices, and a wide selection of pizzas and doughs (hemp, whole wheat, etc.). Highly recommended.

06/04/2026: Originally a trattoria, it has grown over the years, keeping pace with market standards but always with a focus on traditional home cooking. Informal atmosphere, traditional cuisine, quick service, and always helpful staff. Definitely recommended for lovers of Bergamo's traditional cuisine! Tip: It's best to book to avoid unnecessary waiting.

05/04/2026: Very good polenta. But few dishes, little choice. Much less, very basic, and I'm surprised by the kind waitress with glasses of a certain age. When I asked what appetizers there were since she had taken the menu away, she didn't know what was available and she gave me the menu back annoyed with a lot of "but she didn't see first." Still annoyed, she cancelled the delivery of the first courses for the appetizer. Not very polite, not at all smiling and welcoming. Not up to par. For those coming from outside, expect to find that little something extra. A super positive note is the gentleman, I believe also the owner, he really knows what he's doing.
