We were served two excellent risottos with mushrooms and Taleggio cheese, a delicious taragna polenta with melted cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and baked potatoes. Everything was delicious... Even the coffee was excellent. A quiet place, with friendly and welcoming staff. The philosophy of this place, run by a social cooperative that works with people with disabilities, is noteworthy... for this alone, it's worth a visit. You can also buy local products and their own biscuits. I bought some jams that I can't wait to try.... Overall, highly recommended.

The experience was simply wonderful in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth, professionalism, and attention that immediately made us feel at ease. The staff was impeccable throughout the day: always available, smiling, and attentive to the guests' every need. The food was truly exceptional. Each course was prepared with extreme care, with high-quality ingredients and refined flavors. You could clearly taste the passion and expertise behind each dish. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed it, offering sincere compliments for the deliciousness of the menu and the elegant presentation of each course. The organization was also perfect: everything ran smoothly and harmoniously, creating a warm, welcoming, and truly special atmosphere. It was clear how much effort and attention went into making such an important day unique. We even needed a needle and thread for a small emergency, and with little hope, I went to the lady for help. She magically had what we needed and arranged for me, the bride, and my cousin to sit in a room so we could "fix the damage." FANTASTIC TO SAY THE LEAST I sincerely thank all the staff for helping make my sister's wedding an unforgettable event, not only for the bride and groom but also for all of us guests. The location is truly unique, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail and capable of leaving you speechless from the very first moment. An elegant, romantic, and welcoming atmosphere made every moment even more special. The organization was impeccable: everything was handled with truly rare precision and professionalism. The staff was extraordinary, always present, attentive to every need, extremely kind, and smiling throughout the day. The food? Exceptional. Each course was carefully crafted and truly delicious: you could sense the quality and passion in every dish. The dessert buffet was an extraordinary display, beautifully replenished and rich in flavors. We experienced an unforgettable day, from start to finish, without a single detail out of place. 10/02/2026: I already knew this place from previous management. It's a small villa in a very quiet location with minimal furnishings. I tried them for both lunch and dinner. They're very thoughtful, but sometimes, perhaps, for my personal taste, the flavors of the herbs accompanying the dishes are a little too strong. The ladies in the dining room are very attentive, but I'd say they put a little too much pressure on the timing. The second courses are the ones I loved the most. I'll definitely be back to try their creations again.

She was asking about allergies and got very mad at people who admitted they had an allergy to things which weren't included int their order. Please let people decide for themselves if they want to risk it, some people can stand "traces off".. The food was good, the rocket salad really bitter though.

05/05/2026: A sure thing. We go in person and also get takeout. The place is beautiful. Excellent service and dreamy food! I've never had pork shank because I've never liked it. Here, however, it's excellent!

04/05/2026: Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, but overall a mixed experience. The onion soup (recommended on the menu) didn't convince me at all; it lacked the typical caramelization and the pieces were too large. The tiramisu was also a huge disappointment: the flavor was unpleasant, with a distinctly off-putting note. The prices are quite high for the quality offered. Personally, it doesn't meet the expectations raised by the reviews. In short, a place with potential, but it needs to rethink some of its dishes and, above all, its value for money.

08/05/2026: What can I say?... The atmosphere is very refined, and the courtesy and attention to customer service stand out... In short, friendliness, kindness, and attentiveness to the guest are the order of the day. And here we are at the table.... Excellent raw materials, beautifully plated dishes (the eye also wants its part, not just the palate), and a good wine list... 5 stars, fully deserved.

11/05/2026: An elegant restaurant with impeccable service. We had a truly wonderful dinner; the quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the dishes, besides being delicious, are beautifully presented. The gianduja mousse dessert is truly fabulous. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

04/05/2026: Exceptional. Very attentive service, very kind and helpful staff. They're attentive to children, and even provided a small kit with colored pencils and a coloring book to help the little ones while away the time (which, however, is perfectly reasonable given the time allotted). The casoncelli are excellent, and there's also a children's menu, which is also very popular. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with soothing lighting and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it for both those staying at the Winter Garden Hotel and those not staying there.

17/04/2026: For my first time in Bergamo, I relied on the Osterie d'Italia guide for dinner. As always, it confirms how much easier it is to find a restaurant that not only offers good food but, above all, a place that makes you feel welcome. Es Al Gigianca does this very well, first and foremost with the attention to detail—as soon as you enter, you sense a serene and intimate atmosphere—and then with the entire dining room staff, who are courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Angelica, a rare gem, and the owner, Luigi, a wine enthusiast, together were able to advise and guide me throughout the meal, offering truly impeccable service. The cuisine was excellent, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients in traditional and seasonal dishes. I loved the Casonsei and the poached egg with polenta and truffle. The wine list was extensive, and finally, very interesting desserts, but the most surprising was their Tiramisu. Something extraordinary, however, was the Malvasia Passito wine, which I ordered to accompany the desserts. So, thanks for brightening up a solo evening in a new city. If I ever find myself in Bergamo again, I'll definitely be back! Greetings from Frascati Fabio.
