The owners gave me zero hospitality! The place was packed, perhaps because it was August 14, 2025, but why not add a few more workers? I don't know the residents of Olgiate Comasco, but from what I saw, they were almost all rude, shouting nonstop the entire time we were there. In the end, we asked for two coffees, but after half an hour, we went to the counter to drink one since I had to pay and because I was getting nervous. The owners don't care, since there are people willing to put up with all this, and they're happy... I don't know if I'll go back, but maybe I'll prove it during my daily routine (not my holiday). I did find one good thing, though: the ice cream was good. Who knows, we'll see!

28/09/2025: I went to this refuge for lunch last week. It was a terrible experience: even though there were a few free tables inside, I had to insist on moving inside due to a drop in temperature (which made the children cold), and after waiting over an hour after placing our order. After convincing them to move us inside, the dishes arrived slowly, not all at once, and were decidedly meager. My polenta and braised meat was just polenta with little to no braised meat. Finally, the last little gem: we were told that an uneaten platter had been removed from our bill because it arrived too late (we had already finished our first courses after an hour and a half of waiting). However, when we got home and looked at the receipt... alas, we were fooled: the platter had been added to our bill. Obviously not recommended.

When, faced with that attitude, I decided not to stay, she yelled in front of the entire dining room that I only had €15 in my wallet. An incredibly vulgar and malicious gesture, a gratuitous and totally inappropriate humiliation. The worst happened immediately after: I needed to use the bathroom and headed for the entrance. The lady physically blocked me from entering, grabbed me, and pushed me out, constantly telling me that "if I only had €15, I should have stayed home." I repeatedly told her not to touch me, but she continued. At that point, I seriously considered calling the Carabinieri, because this behavior isn't just rudeness: it's physical aggression and an unlawful impediment. To be clear: I have no financial problems, I come from a good family, and I've always worked in positions of responsibility. If I only had €15 in my pocket at that moment, it was simply a coincidence. The point, however, is another: no one has the right to humiliate someone or look in their pockets, much less touch them to make them leave.
