22/06/2025: We went to this place for an evening with friends and since the weather wasn't nice we asked to sit inside. After having a very good dinner and with our glasses still full after the third round, the girl from the staff comes to the table and in a really impolite tone invites us to get up from the table because there were people outside getting water and we had to go out!!! After having dinner in 9 and having had more than one round of beers you are THROWING US OUT??????? I'm sorry but this place has lost many many points!!!

26/06/2025: High prices for this kind of food. The cuisine is Roman...an appetizer, 2 first courses and a bottle of water €40...both pastas were raw...the bacon in my carbonara was salty...what a shame...

31/05/2025: I had lunch today with my partner. We ate for two, sharing a complete menu with appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, 2 sorbets, water and a half of red wine. With a menu we ate abundantly for two and I must emphasize, in addition to the pleasantly surprising quantity and that I strongly recommend to maintain because it is rare these days, the excellent quality of the raw material. Fast and courteous service.

25/06/2025: We had dinner at this place and I must say we were very satisfied. Very good food, kind and helpful staff, strategic location, easy to get there from the main road, the restaurant has a beautiful view of Lake Idro. The countless beers on tap in sight are also very nice. The only flaw is the slightly high prices, but for the view and everything we paid willingly! Recommended

22/06/2025: We dropped in for lunch today whilst on a short visit to Cadenabbia. Great location looking across to Bellagio. Good food, service and quality wines by the glass (which our waiter poured from the bottle in front of us). If you’re on the east side of Lake Como give it a try.

05/07/2025: I chose Hostaria for my wedding in May '24 and everything was organized very well despite the "Weather" doubt until the last moment. We organized a country style reception so with all meat dishes. I have not heard of anyone who complained on the contrary, many compliments for the risottos always excellent but also everything else, the vegetarian dishes like the grill. The Red Velvet wedding cake made by them was much appreciated so much that not even a slice was left to take home...

29/06/2025: Inviting menu, but behind the name of the dishes there must be substance Old and low-quality bread to accompany, "possi...passati" taralli, overcooked and therefore dry veal medallions, good initial platters, but why do you give me the first part of the turmeric cheese cut and visibly oxidized? ... first you clean it and then serve it. Good grilled meat, but the arrosticini are hard and low-quality. 107 euros final bill for two glasses of prosecco that are quite poor, two platters, two second courses. Not satisfied.

25/06/2025: We enjoyed the peace and quiet in the garden. The service is very friendly. The menu is a bit different in our experience. No standard pizza/pasta/meat/fish. Very tasty though. We had the pasta bolognese and tart with blueberry jam, both made with buckwheat. You can also take sun loungers. Some people took a nap in here 😊

09/06/2025: On a trip on a Monday in June to the Belvedere. A welcoming and well-kept place. Kind and helpful staff. Very good typical dishes!! Fair price for the quality of the products. And ... the icing on the cake .... a nap on the deckchair. I highly recommend and will be back!!

13/07/2025: Amazing service! Delicious food. Tried the Tagliatelle ala bolognese with some coffee and it was pretty good. They might not get non-Italian speaking customers that much, so when they saw me they really made sure that I had all the information. Brought the English menu and the English speaking servers to me for help. Very very nice.

17/06/2025: A craving for Roman cuisine satisfied: cacio e pepe, carbonara, matriciana. Everywhere the cacio predominates, but in the carbonara it covers all the other flavors. The matriciana seemed to us the best balanced and worth repeating. The Roman music played in the restaurant was predictable, but the full of stornelli and Trastevere melodies ends up boring even the most open-minded Milanese. The restaurant, located on the canal offers a good view, but the parking lot is a very sought-after destination and not easy to obtain.

02/07/2025: Historic Trattoria with authentic local food, and very friendly service. Highly recommend the pork cheek with polenta!
