12/04/2026: I only had dinner at the restaurant, and everything was very good. It's not easy to find popular vegan cuisine, and we were really happy. The prices were very fair, the service was homely, and very friendly.

08/05/2026: For my nephew's 47th birthday, I wanted a special multi-layer cake. I spoke with the owner, explaining exactly how I wanted each layer, each cream, and how it should be made. The base and each layer were supposed to have ground walnuts instead of flour (2 tablespoons). This was not respected. I had asked for all the layers to be well soaked, but instead everything was so dry that when I cut the cake, the slice crumbled. The creams weren't even remotely good; they had a strange consistency; all you could taste was the butter. I had chosen a chocolate cream, a pistachio cream, a walnut cream, and the chocolate one (dark, okay) was half as thick as the others. I had asked for cherries in syrup to be added to the chocolate cream on the base, but there weren't any. The cherries were only on top as a decoration, along with little colored balls that are usually placed on children's cakes. All around was this disgusting buttercream that had melted all the way home and started soaking the entire cardboard box: a real disappointment. I will never go to this bakery again and I certainly don't recommend it. P.S. I find it more honest to tell potential customers: we prepare the type of cake you request.

24/01/2026: First time this evening, we had a great time. The place is beautifully designed, and the typical Ligurian dishes are excellent.

19/04/2026: Excellent food and fast service. You can get lunch and dinner for just a few euros. The only downside is that the rooms are a few kilometers from the restaurant, so it's not advisable to enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal and then return to your room afterward. Otherwise, everything is fine. Recommended.

I often go there during the week for lunch, with the €13 set menu, which includes a first course, second course, side dish, dessert, wine, water, and coffee. This menu usually offers a choice of three first courses and three second courses, but if you're a bit fussy, just ask the staff, who will suggest an alternative to suit your needs. On Sundays and holidays, the menu is usually more comprehensive, with appetizers, first courses, and second courses, and I think it's around €30-35. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and service is prompt. If you're a large group, it's best to book.

The drinks are fabulous, the cocktails are just the right amount, and the food served with aperitifs is excellent in both quality and quantity (panissa, cured meats, cheeses, omelettes, delicious snacks, and even more elaborate dishes like fried or stuffed anchovies—there's everything, and it's all delicious, etc., etc.). The proletarians are friendly, kind, and pleasant (never intrusive). There's plenty of privacy, but there are tables to accommodate even more people. The atmosphere is unique, with decorations like a van loaded with 80s anime figures and stickers, a fully modified Vespa—it feels a bit like being in one of those trattorias from the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies with the dune buggy, plus there's a sea view. Perfect for both summer sunsets and winter evenings. I've always gone there for aperitifs, but I assume they also have excellent lunches and dinners. In short, I can only give it an A+.

28/03/2026: Fantastic! I drove past, saw the smiling waitress, and thought... anyone who smiles like that must truly love their job. What a fantastic place! A former Vespa workshop, now a Vespa Club, across from the shipyard. The best Margherita pizza I've ever had, and so many handmade delicacies. The owner is incredibly kind; she spoke and understood my language. It was one of the best evenings of my four-week trip. I can't wait to go back this year.

13/09/2025: Nice place, the fried food was a bit dark, and the spaghetti with clams didn't blend well with the sauce. The sea bass was good, but the side dishes were sparse.

17/05/2026: Thank you so much Marco, Hugo and everyone else! We ate here five times during our stay, and not once were we disappointed. The thing that got us to return again and again was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were treated like family since the first time. Bonus points for the lovely garden. What comes to the food, we ate some excellent pizza as well as great pasta carbonara. The aperol spritz was also on point. We highly recommend that you give this restaurant a shot. It’s a lovely family owned restaurant!

12/05/2026: We were there with our two toddlers and the service was excellent. They were very family-friendly but not intrusive and prioritized bringing the children's food. Our older child was even able to ride her scooter in the back outdoor area for a while, which was also because there were no other guests in our section at the time. The food and the value for money were good overall; the cutlery was only charged for the two of us adults and not separately for the children.

19/04/2026: Centrally located hotel just steps from the sea. The breakfast staff is friendly and simple, lacking in quality. But I must say the best soy cappuccino I've ever had! The room was small and poorly maintained, dusty, especially in the bathroom. It feels like it's been stuck in the past 20 years, a real nostalgic treat for those who love this kind of thing.

12/04/2026: A very nice hotel, right in the center of Varazze. But the location isn't its only outstanding feature: the hospitality was phenomenal; we felt right at home with our two little girls. From check-in to mealtime, everyone was always attentive to us and the girls; we lacked nothing and felt right at home. We also ate wonderfully; our only regret is that we only stayed for two days. We can't wait to return.
