Gelateria Corniglia is tucked away behind a pretty non-descript little portal—easy to miss unless you’re looking for it, even though there is some signage. You head downstairs and suddenly land on a surprisingly nice patio where you can sit and enjoy your gelato or whatever frozen treat you’re in the mood for. The gelato itself is solid and the setting is great for taking a break from wandering the town. Service was… fine. Civil, but not exactly warm or welcoming. Still, it’s a good stop if you want a quiet spot to cool off and relax for a few minutes.

14/06/2026: A delightful surprise. Dinner with friends in the charming center of Sarzana. The welcome and service immediately put you at ease. The atmosphere is familiar, yet attentive and meticulous. Excellent ingredients and truly excellent dishes. The menu draws on tradition, with subtle yet subtle ethnic influences that add a touch of originality without straying from classic flavors—an aspect I personally greatly appreciated. Among the dishes, the lettuce leaves stuffed in chicken broth were particularly interesting, delicate yet with a distinct personality. The desserts, too, are all strictly homemade, especially the cocoa shortcrust tart with custard and fresh strawberries, truly excellent. A place I'll gladly return to. We spent less than €50 each, treating ourselves to an excellent €45 white wine.
08/06/2026: Excellent cuisine, creative, balanced, excellent products! The service was more than pleasant! Truly a gem to discover! And what's more, it's also suitable for people with celiac disease or vegetarians.

24/06/2026: The food is home-style, which is what I personally prefer. The location and small garden have a certain charm. We had a great time. The wine was excellent, and especially the price. We'll definitely be back.
24/06/2026: The lady is very nice and very hospitable. She's a great presence in the rooms and always tries to help tourists and even provides maps explaining what to do in the area. I really appreciate it and don't normally write reviews. Thank you so much!
