06/08/2026: I almost never write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to do so because I believe this place has potential, and I'd like to offer some encouragement and constructive advice. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in the little square and among the tables: a relaxed, welcoming, and truly pleasant environment. The menu, deliberately simple, offers an interesting blend of Ligurian and Moroccan traditions, harking back to the origins of the family that runs the place. An idea I really appreciated. A special mention goes to the stuffed mussels: they took me back to the flavors of home, to the ones my grandmother used to make when I was little. It's been a long time since I've had such good ones, and for that reason I'll remember them fondly. I would, however, like to make a couple of observations with the sole purpose of helping us improve. One of the girls who served us was certainly kind and helpful, but she was a bit rushed with her service. On more than one occasion, he tried to take our plates away while we were still eating, and the clearing was done very quickly, spreading a certain anxiety throughout the table. These are minor details, sure, but it's precisely the details that make the difference to the overall experience. The other thing that left me perplexed was the bill. In my opinion, the quality-price ratio is slightly unbalanced, especially considering the locals. With these prices, tourists probably come once, eat well, and leave satisfied. As a local, I, on the other hand, would gladly return... but not at this price. We spent €35 per person for dinner, plus €13 for wine, for a total of €48. For a dinner like this, it seemed rather high. And it's a shame, because I really liked the place and would have loved to visit more often. At this price, however, I'd end up choosing other options. I hope this review will be read in the spirit in which it was written: that of someone who had a lovely evening, ate well, and would like to return, perhaps finding a few small improvements.

23/07/2026: The focaccia was good, well-prepared and made with fresh ingredients, although I wasn't particularly impressed. Fast service and friendly staff. A good choice for a snack in Monterosso.

23/07/2026: The best focaccia in all of Cinque Terre. Aside from the unbeatable price, the focaccia is incredibly delicious. The place is also truly authentic and not geared towards tourists. Plus, the owner is super friendly!

09/08/2026: We used to go to Da Francesco's focacceria when it was still in Castelnuovo. Now it's in Sarzana on the Aurelia bypass, and I'll be having dinner there with friends again tonight. The food is excellent; he makes a truly extraordinary focaccia with top-quality cured meats and cheeses, and he brings it right out of the oven. Before the focaccia, they serve several delicious and varied appetizers. The fixed-price menu also includes drinks and homemade desserts. Excellent value for money, definitely worth a try. I forgot to mention that the soundproofing is perfect, so you can talk quietly, even when there are dozens of people in the room.

09/08/2026: Attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. They also offer gluten-free and vegetarian/vegetarian menus, without sacrificing anything. Everything was delicious, and the menu was very generous. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

08/08/2026: A simple osteria in the historic center. We ordered mussels marinara, green peppercorn fillet with zucchini, Neapolitan paccheri, and Black Angus carpaccio. High-quality food, perfectly cooked. Fast service and friendly staff.

12/05/2026: Stumble upon this cute, beautiful & totally relaxing restaurant thru our booking of learning how to make gnocchi w a view, and boy..did we get lucked out. What a beautiful hidden gem! Gorgeous view from above looking down to the village below, the view and the setting will surely put you in a "la dolce vida" mood. The food is amazing w great staffs! Friendly, fun & just the right amount of attention without be overbearing. Im not even a fan of gnocchi but w the way they made it w pesto, im a huge fan now. Thank you to the owner for picking us up at meeting point & drive us up, thank you to the chef for making it fun! Everyone who visit this village should make a point to visit this restaurant, you will be in for a treat! 🌟✨️

09/08/2026: A friend of mine had a coffee accidentally spilled on him (by the waiter) and despite the owner's adequate apologies, no discount or freebie was applied at checkout.

14/08/2026: Really recommend this Restaurant. The food was amaizing…i had the seafood linguini and my husband hat the seafood rissoto both were amaizing…but we would recommend you the linguini😉. The atmosfere in the Restaurant was nice and homie and the waiters were really friendly.🥰

14/08/2026: Perfect from start to finish. A far cry from the unappetizing restaurants by the port, this is the complete opposite. You're greeted with a smile, the food is well-prepared, and it's delicious. The panna cotta is excellent, and they even offer you a complimentary iced cappuccino. An excellent place.

05/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to go to Simone's... friendly, clean, and... the best farinata with spices... and in the summer, it's the perfect way to cool off from the scorching heat!

21/07/2026: A lovely restaurant on the Fezzano seafront, serving excellent quality seafood at a moderate price. Generous portions and a wide selection of wines.

17/07/2026: We returned to a restaurant that, for as long as we've known it, combines excellent ingredients, extraordinary dishes, impeccable service, and a location just steps from the sea. It's a bit far from Bologna, but we'll be back again the next time we get a chance.

02/07/2026: The Pin Bon restaurant offers both à la carte dishes and a €50 tasting menu (our choice; also, if you opt for less than all the dishes, the price goes down: we paid about €35 each). The appetizers were very unique, varied, and delicious (some truly special). The first courses (spaghetti and seafood risotto) were quite good, as were the second courses (we chose mixed fried fish and grilled meat. I must admit, I wasn't too thrilled with the grilled meat). The waiter, extremely kind and knowledgeable, served us with great professionalism. Overall, the place is beautiful and the food is good at reasonable prices. (One small point: we weren't given a menu; I personally don't think it was a good choice. I would have liked to read "what" I was eating and know the prices for the à la carte menu as well... too bad!) Furthermore, the view is spectacular and definitely worth the trip. I definitely recommend it and would love to come back to enjoy both the menu (maybe next time I'll try the Catalan one) and the view. 😊

03/06/2026: I had dinner here with my partner and a couple of friends. We each had a first course and a second course to share. The portions were generous and the food was amazing! The place is very cute and intimate, and the service was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful. We also really appreciated the chef's check of the tables. Highly recommended. We hope to be back very soon!

11/08/2026: Good food at a reasonable price, the service was fine, the only thing is that they could improve the air conditioning inside, although that's something we've noticed in general. Fresh and perfectly cooked fish, the seafood pasta and the grilled squid were very tender! I recommend it!

30/07/2026: The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the service could be improved. As a tourist, you sometimes feel unwelcome. Serving pre-cut bread in paper bags doesn't match the high quality of the main courses!
