17/01/2026: The atmosphere is the best part of the place: very welcoming, not too noisy, and very pleasantly decorated. I recommend the cocktails at the bar; they're out of this world! The gluten-free focaccia is quite good. Suitable for special occasions. Easy and free parking in front of the place.

24/09/2025: Pleasant in the evening despite the lack of view due to the fact that it was dark, the dishes are good. However, there was a long wait between courses, we left before dessert because of the wait in the cold even though we were the last table. The knives were not suitable for shellfish, you had to attack with your fingers but there were no finger bowls.

03/02/2026: In the heart of beautiful Corniglia, we find this small, traditional osteria. We decide to make a reservation for dinner. The place is small but very well-kept and welcoming. Everything we ordered and tasted was mouth-watering. Local products and a lot of passion. The service was excellent and courteous. Good value for money. We'll be back and highly recommend it! It's always best to book in advance.

21/01/2026: My wife and I went for dinner after reading many positive reviews and having fairly high expectations. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the service is attentive, perhaps even overly so: very attentive but at times intrusive. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation. The appetizer I ordered (calamari with pumpkin) was unbalanced: the pumpkin was overly sweet, with too much butter/oil, and it completely lacked a balanced acidity. I left a good portion, and no one asked us why. The first courses were disappointing. The mixed seafood pasta was adequate but unremarkable: the flavors weren't punchy, "you couldn't taste the sea." My wife ordered spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, shrimp, and burrata: the dish tasted nothing like garlic, oil, or chili pepper; the burrata covered everything, making the dish flat and lacking in character. In short: plenty of form, but little substance. The dishes are "ordinary," lacking personality or depth of flavor, and don't justify the price tag. With more careful attention to balance, technique, and the dishes' identity, the experience could be significantly improved. For now, however, we definitely expected more.

The appetizer was delicious: raw purple shrimp and a delicious focaccia crumble; the first course was a fantastic pasta dish with potatoes and seafood! And finally, a dessert that would be an understatement to call just dessert! Well done, Silvia!

29/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling around Monterosso in Cinque Terre, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. I think it was one of the best pasta I had in my two weeks in Italy. The homemade tagliolini with cream and smoked salmon was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and I devoured the whole plate in no time! The people at the restaurant were also incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better.

18/10/2025: The best restaurant in Cinque Terre. Doesn't have the sea view, but wins at everything else: the food, the hospitality, the cost. This place should have a Michelin Star. Chef/owner is so friendly, engaging, and accommodating. We've gone to numerous other places and they all fall short. As such, we've been back multiple times, and we're only sad we can't eat here even more. Can't speak highly enough of our experiences here; this place should have a 5.0 star rating. P.S. the steamed mussels and tiramisu are out of this world.

11/11/2025: I was greeted with a lot of theatrics; I should have followed my instincts and left after reading the menu... The menu and prices aren't displayed outside. I ordered a ravioli dish, seven on a plate for 16 euros, which was served very quickly but was strangely cold and bland. My daughter had the same experience, and to top it off, the pasta dish was too salty. Also, they ask if you want still or sparkling water, but in the end, they serve you tap water (judging by the smell) in a mineral water bottle! In short, money down the drain.

04/01/2026: We went to this restaurant a few days ago. We booked after seeing the menu on their website. When we got to the table, we asked for a menu and were told they didn't have one. The waitress very quickly told us what they had to offer. I then said I'd seen the menu on the website, and the waitress replied they didn't have one (she simply ignored it). Basically, the menu on their website, where the prices are significantly lower than the actual prices, seems to be just a decoy. Anyway, it took us 45 minutes to find a parking spot, which was quite far away, the place was freezing cold, we'd have to stay in our coats the whole time, the testaroli were cold, and the portions of cured meats that came with the panigacci were rather small. I just checked to see if they'd closed or updated their website after my report, but it's still there, misleadingly luring customers. DISAPPEARING AND UNFAIR

29/11/2025: This was a great dining experience in Vernazza. Although this popular spot is located away from the main town drag, it was absolutely worth walking uphill to reach it. We came specifically to try classic Ligurian pesto. We ordered the local classic, trofie al pesto, and pesto lasagna. Both dishes were excellent. The pesto was made fresh and it was delicious. We enjoyed the dishes so much we wished we could have ordered a second plate. Admittedly, the setting isn't the most scenic (the restaurant faces a parking lot), but the friendly, attentive service and the quality of the food more than make up for it. Highly recommended!

29/11/2025: One very tasty place to dine in Vernazza. They serve different versions of pesto dishes that one can try. They are very good and highly recommended. Their service personnel is very fun, accommodating, and quirky too. One very minor comment is the view of the parking and the zooming vehicles beside the diners, but their food is reasonably priced, compared to the dining places by tourist center.

02/01/2026: Nice place, good dishes, portions? (Grilled fish: 2 prawns, 2 scampi, 2 cuttlefish, all cut in half to look like a super plate, cost 24 euros), for me too excessive... not the price but the quantity we ate.

08/12/2025: Located less than a kilometer from the center of Portovenere, La Chiglia restaurant was one of the best surprises of our holiday here. The restaurant is seafront with parking, and the food, service, and friendliness are five-star. If you're in the area and want to eat expertly prepared, fresh fish and more, this is the place for you.
