13/09/2025: Excellent place if you’re looking for peace and a break from the city. Delicious breakfast (included) and dinner (€30 per person) made from local products. Breakfast and dinner are available only for guests. They also have a ropes park and offer lunch for non-guests.

09/09/2025: Simply: it felt like home! ❤️ We spent days of pure relaxation and felt pampered and welcome. We ate, drank, and slept divinely! Bob is a loyal four-legged friend who quickly makes friends with everyone. Thanks to Nereo, Lucia, and their children. We were lucky to discover the Giandriale farmhouse! ❤️

07/01/2026: A restaurant in the hills of La Spezia. The atmosphere is rustic yet refined. The varied menu features meat-based dishes such as porchetta, Ligurian-style rabbit, and strictly grilled meats. Traditional piadinas, baked in terracotta pots, are prepared in the large fireplace in the dining room and can be enjoyed with cured meats and/or stracchino cheese. The house red wine, Sangiovese, is very good and aromatic. Prices are moderately low. I highly recommend it. We love it here every time we visit this area.

21/12/2025: This is a simple restaurant high above La Spezia. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, there are hardly any places like this left on the other side of the tunnel, on the "sunny side." The traditional focaccia of the Ligurian coast is cooked there by two nimble young men in an open fire in the middle of the restaurant, between terracotta plates that absorb the moisture from the egg-free flatbread, and immediately brought to the table. There, the guest fills them, similar to a taco, with delicacies from the kitchen: grilled vegetables from eggplant to zucchini and spicy tagliata beef. Beforehand, we had a wonderful ragu. Truly a hidden gem! And it's only 45 minutes from our house in Levanto. It's easily accessible via the stunning SP 150 road high above the sea. You can also take the bus from La Spezia.

20/02/2026: Although the food is reasonably good, albeit with a very repetitive menu, I don't recommend it due to the terrible service. I think it's the only place in Sarzana where, if you make a reservation, they assign you the worst seats. The waitress who welcomed us and who currently works the dining room is completely lacking in empathy, almost annoyed, and unreasonably inclined to underwhelm customers. We've been frequenting this restaurant occasionally for a while, and the staff used to be much friendlier. The service is truly embarrassing. After mentioning the service issues, I'll list a few technical flaws: incorrect orders sent back, cutlery not changed between meals, and the waitress moving it from the plate to the tablecloth, dirtying the surface. Soapstones cracked from cooking raw meat (they were intact before). I advise the owner to review the staff, perhaps supporting them with psychotherapy. Personally, I prefer to spend my money in more worthy places. This is not the case here. P.S. I see from the reviews that this is a fairly common negative opinion. It's easy to lose customers.

26/02/2026: The Centro Luna in Sarzana is an excellent local shopping destination, renowned for its impeccable cleanliness and wide variety of stores. The hypermarket is well-stocked, has ample parking, and has a welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for quick errands or a relaxing afternoon.

10/03/2026: We lived in Monterosso and traveled all Chonkwe Terra looking for calzone. And when we failed we came to the Smorfia. That two calzones were best pizzas in the world! Yes, people is passing by. But we forgot of that after glass of wine.

23/11/2025: For several years now, every time I go to Sarzana, I make a regular stop at this place. The pizza, and not only that, is spectacular. In particular, they use soy-based doughs, but also aloe, which are very light and very digestible. They have a huge selection and often make special versions dedicated to particular products, some seasonal, like fresh porcini mushrooms or caramelized onions. The farinata and desserts, many of which are homemade, are also excellent. A real must-try.

Sitting down at a table here is like taking a little journey into the past, relaxing and delightful. The cuisine is refined, sincere, and well-executed, with balanced flavors and quality ingredients that are appreciated from the first bite. Each dish is presented with elegance and respect for tradition, without unnecessary modern constraints. A special mention goes to the service, perfectly embodied by Mr. Antonio: a true man of integrity, professional, discreet, and impeccable in his manners. His presence gives character to the dining room, with that slightly old-fashioned grace that is increasingly rare today and that decisively contributes to the restaurant's charm. If there's one small point for improvement, it's the portions that aren't particularly generous... but this detail easily fades into the background when compared to the overall experience. In fact, it almost leaves you wanting to return to try something else on the menu. An ideal place for those seeking atmosphere, flavor, and authenticity, perfect for a quiet evening of good food and old-world charm. Highly recommended.

23/10/2025: The facility is clean and well-kept, the prices for sunbeds and umbrellas are absolutely reasonable, you can bring your own food, the staff is helpful, and you can also eat lunch at reasonable prices. In short, a good beach where you can relax with a gently sloping sea and clean water.

24/11/2025: A lot of restaurants in Monterosso were closed when we went and this is one of the only ones that’s open that’s at least 4/5 so we gave it a shot. Staff were super friendly and kind. Food was good but the seafood spaghetti was on the salty side. The fried mixed seafood was on point though! Not salty at all, crispy, well cooked inside! The two dishes balanced each other out. Their tiramisu was to die for!!! Would go back there just for that. They were pet friendly and kid friendly too. They had a baby chair for our daughter.

13/03/2026: We only stayed one night, but given how we enjoyed it, next time we'll definitely stay longer. Excellent location in the city center, close to everything. Super tidy and clean room. And most importantly, the host was super kind and friendly. Definitely a place to return to!!

02/03/2026: Perfectly maintained rooms in the heart of La Spezia. A 10-minute walk from the Central Station, ideal for exploring the Cinque Terre. Excellent service, even upon arrival outside reception hours, and thoughtful touches in the room. Definitely worth repeating!

27/10/2025: Ely has been our "pizza night" place for years and we really enjoy it. Occasionally we have other things and this year we had one of their pasta daily specials, a ravioli perhaps with truffle and burrata (sorry it was 1 1/2 months ago)……omg, it was so amazing. Though it is no longer on the menu, we also appreciated them making the mussels in white wine and lemon.

30/12/2025: Service was too fast. The appetizers were good. The first courses were too generous. It's a shame because we wanted a second course as well. The location was beautiful. However, it was excellent value for money.
