11/10/2025: Fantastic Stay at Grand Hotel Portovenere! 🌊 I've just had the most magical 3-night stay at the Grand Hotel Portovenere, and I'm already dreaming of going back! This place is an absolute gem, set in a beautifully restored 17th-century convent right on the water's edge. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and passion for the region truly made our trip special. The food was a highlight every single day. Dining at the Palmaria Restaurant with its stunning panoramic terrace views was an experience in itself. The cuisine was innovative, fresh, and absolutely delicious—a perfect taste of Liguria! Waking up to the view of the colorful harbor and Palmaria Island from our balcony was unforgettable. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of charming Portovenere and with the ferry to the Cinque Terre literally at your doorstep. If you're looking for a luxurious, romantic, and utterly satisfying escape, look no further. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice. We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!

01/03/2026: One of my favorite places. I'm from Umbria and have been there at least four times every time I'm in the area. Fermete Chi has become a must-stop for satisfying my farinata cravings! The place has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Walter, the waiter, is sure to make you laugh. He's incredibly friendly without ever going over the top! Thanks Davide for your hospitality and advice. 12/01/2026: Dinner with my father and son. We tried a portion of farinata and three pizzas. Everything was good. The pizzas had nice toppings. Excellent value. The desserts were also good. The place is small but clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I recommend it.

23/11/2025: While riding our motorcycle, we stopped for an aperitif with friends. It's a place with a female clientele, clean, and very welcoming. The girls are very kind and friendly, and the products are delicious. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: A typical Sarzana tavern. The atmosphere is neat and clean, with professional and friendly staff. The menu offers a limited selection, but the dishes are of excellent quality. The service, while homely, is pleasant and courteous. The price is reasonable, especially considering the perceived quality of the dishes.

04/01/2026: Seafood trattoria. Average prices. Not many seats. Good food quality, but the vegetarian options are limited (one first course and one side).

19/10/2025: It's great cafe if you want to sit down, chill and observe the towns folks running their errands. It is smaller cafe, not a lot of tables outside and most of them were reserved for lunch hour. Still they tried their best to sit us down. They brought us drinks and they were so friendly to shower us with complimentary snacks. Bonus points from me! Beer was good, Aperol was original and prepared to good taste. I recommend stopping by.

31/01/2026: Everything was Special. Fresh, made to order and tastefull. Service impeccable. Good quality of food. Nice ambiance. I loved when the cook (owner) scream « Calamari Ciak » when its ready. La scarpetta makes it more delicious. I recommand this restaurant when in Monterrosso.❣️❣️
