We were way too early, the lady didn't hesitate for long and conjured up a great meal. Everything very fresh and delicious!!!
If we go on holiday nearby again, we will definitely visit this restaurant.

28/08/2024: I had excellent memories of this restaurant but then for years I hadn't been able to go back because I don't come to Chiavari often and when I passed it was always closed either because it was the wrong day of the week, or because it was closed temporarily, in short, bad luck. Yesterday I managed to go back. I must say the raw materials were of excellent quality, the seafood salad very good, the octopus unfortunately overcooked so that it was hard on the outside and too soft on the inside. The sauce was good though.
Unfortunately we had a bit of the feeling of annoying the managers with our presence, we were the only customers at lunch, then only other customers showed up around 1.30pm but they were bounced away as the kitchen was closed. The general feeling was that they had opened just for us (I had booked) and what can I say, I hope they managed to cover the costs :-/

The place is large but I don't know why it's noisy, the sounds seem amplified. During my dinner there was a dog at another table that barked every 30 seconds, it's certainly not the fault of the managers, in that case it's up to the common sense of the owners, but if the owners do nothing...🤷
05/06/2024: 1.15pm. Kitchen closed... the workers have lunch first... we are told dryly
A sandwich is asked for and obviously they don't make sandwiches...
In short, you can't bother in a bar open all day at 1.30pm to ask for food (no brioches, no packaged bags of chips).

10/06/2024: I was passing by and I was attracted by the perfume coming from their laboratory next to the sales shop. I bought both normal and wholemeal focaccia, farinata, three-coloured crackers and a piece of chocolate tart, all made by them and all delicious. Pleasant discovery, recommended and worth visiting again when in the area.

10/08/2024: For ten years, since I have been coming to Chiavari, I have been going to this restaurant every day for lunch and dinner during the summer and also every time I come to Chiavari out of season. The raw materials are at the top, if the fish isn't fresh you won't find it on the menu, the cuisine is light like home cooking, zero digestion problems. Since Giovanni has been in the kitchen with Pina, extraordinary dishes have been added. High level pizza side for variety of choice and quality of the dough. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly and the service is good with some understandable slowness only in the month of August. The owners and staff are kind and very humane people.
