06/09/2025: We stopped by chance and were more than satisfied, the staff were kind and attentive to customers, the food was excellent, the beer selection was good, the music was a little loud but not annoying, we were very satisfied.

17/08/2025: A small place, very cute and welcoming inside. If you're going with more than two people, it's best to book. To accommodate more guests, there's a street-facing terrace, with a veranda in the winter. They've added gluten-free options to the menu and offer gluten-free beer, which is great for us celiacs. The prices aren't cheap, but it's worth a try.

09/05/2026: We had pizza and cheese focaccia, both good. The service was a bit chaotic, but no major issues.

04/05/2026: Good place, but it's a shame they don't accept reservations via Google, so the welcome upon arrival wasn't the best, although they quickly remedied this by setting up the table. The food was good, the sea bream still had a few bones, and the pizza was okay. Prices were good. I would recommend it. Be careful, guys, and make reservations online.

28/02/2026: Lovely and authentic family hotel in the historic part of Chiavari. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool area is nice and the restaurant has some good local options. The staff is of high level of hospitality, shoutout to Rebecca and Aaron. I was there almost an year ago in May 2025 but keep recalling the nice stay and good time I had in Monte Rossa.

05/12/2025: First and foremost, the wonderful staff deserves a mention. Everyone was attentive to the guests' well-being and very friendly. We stayed in a newly renovated room, which, while not very large, was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was wonderful, and the bathroom was also very nice. The hotel restaurant offers excellent food, and the breakfast buffet is very appealing and well-stocked, even in the off-season. We would definitely choose this hotel again in Chiavari.

03/05/2026: Everything was perfect. From the reservation to the service, despite the restaurant being fully booked. The staff were incredibly helpful, fast, and attentive. The mussel soup and mixed fried fish were superb. Highly recommended.

18/04/2026: So, for a few years now, we've been choosing this place because we've always liked their food, the attentiveness of the waitresses, the location, and the value. The trattoria atmosphere is always satisfying. Our absolute favorite dish is spaghetti allo scoglio. This year, however, we noticed a notable difference in the way this dish was prepared. Shellfish were scarce and/or closed, 4.5 mussels, and 5 clams, all of which were either empty or closed shells—in short, disappointing. The divinely prepared sauce of cherry tomatoes, parsley, and oil has now disappeared. And to top it all off, last time they must have boiled the spaghetti in unsalted water, so much so that we had to ask for salt. Does anyone no longer know how to cook? We think the chef in the kitchen has changed. We've noticed it in several people, several times. Otherwise, we can't explain this sudden change in the way this delicious dish is prepared. We hope they put a little more effort into it...

It's the ideal place at any time of day: perfect for a quality breakfast, a coffee break, an elegant aperitif, or even a bite to eat. The menu is extensive and consistently top-notch, with truly exquisite products and top-quality ingredients. You immediately sense that nothing is left to chance, from the selection of wines and gourmet products to the attention to service and ambiance. The aperitif is rich, enjoyable, and beautifully presented, in a historic and elegant setting that makes everything even more special. Even just sitting here for a coffee or a drink means enjoying a unique experience, in a place with charm, personality, and a strong identity. Obviously, it's not cheap, but honestly, the price is justified by the overall quality: a historic location, excellent products, an elegant atmosphere, and top-notch service. In my opinion, it's absolutely worth it. A historic venue worth preserving and promoting, highly recommended both for those passing through Chiavari and for those looking for a refined break in a truly special place. A 5-star experience.

02/05/2026: The atmosphere isn't fancy...but it's full of substance. The pasta dishes are generous and flavorful, with a delicate, homemade flavor. The fried food is delicious. Highly recommended.

24/04/2026: Solid Italian cuisine prepared with love. While the dishes aren't presented in an elaborate way, they are very tasty and down-to-earth. The service was very friendly and the value for money is excellent. The ambiance is rather simple. I particularly enjoyed the fish ravioli and the mixed antipasti.

01/05/2026: A terrible experience in every way. A dingy place, ridiculous prices, and embarrassing quality: I even found a hair in a simple plate of pasta. Interminable wait times, and to top it all off, an extremely rude owner. Avoid without a doubt.
