30/07/2025: CoverCharge to sit down not even mentioned? Hidden charges....This is a RipOff bad example of a place to visit. Go elsewhere as we had to $5 glasses of wine which is all we wanted and made us buy Caprese. Over $100 Euro. Charged $12 cover charge per person & a 10% tip on the cover charge, LOL, plus other fees. We basically paid $100 Euro for two glasses of wine & bread. Bad experience for Portofino

23/09/2025: Terrible place!! I went in to politely ask to use the bathroom, they told me that a drink was mandatory, so I got a glass of water. As soon as I left, I wanted to use the hand dryer and noticed that it worked, but there was no paper. I reported this, and not only was my card denied, but I was also rudely told off, accusing me of spending so little, with rather ridiculous excuses! Stay away from these stingy and dishonest people!

30/07/2025: Super nice, she agreed to let us have dinner when the kitchen closed and even offered us a dessert sold in the window, the waitress is really very very nice, I highly recommend her 👍👍👍👍👍

17/09/2025: There's no criteria. Anyone can pass you by. I was in a hurry to catch the train, and they kept serving randomly from the sides even though there was clearly a queue!

25/08/2025: I was so angry when they think that we are tourists and charged more price. I saw the price on the menu for 2€ and then they changed more because they think my husband are tourists….

28/10/2025: wonderful views, right in the heart of the harbour, with suitably strong aperol spritz! be warned, if you are budgeting this place may not be for you, but if you can afford it, this is a wonderful way to enjoy portofino!

20/09/2025: Food is limited, prices are high. If there are bands playing and you come in after dinner, they'll charge a mandatory €10 drink, as if it were some sort of disguised entrance fee, even if you're only staying for half an hour. Not recommended.

20/04/2025: Ottimo apericena Di alta qualità. Con cura per intolleranti al lattosio. Formula apericena ottima e ricca . Lo consiglio per chi vuole sentire buona musica dal vivo e assaporare piatti tipici genovesi.

29/10/2025: We went in and asked if it was possible to make some pasta for our 2-year-old son... And they told us they didn't have any, but since we were traveling, we had everything we needed. The waitress immediately said it was no problem. We ordered 1 gnocco with pesto 1 gnocco with meat sauce 1 potato chip 1 sliced ​​arugula and shavings 1 bottle of still water 1 portion of Grana Padano shavings for the little one. The gnocchi arrive, everything is ok... Good, not excellent, but good... The tagliata arrives. I was expecting a fairly large slice of meat, being a tagliata, instead I received a thin slice of meat, about 100g, only with a little rocket and without flakes because I had asked for it because I am intolerant... The portion of flakes, about 100g, could be seen in the bowl for the little one... Anyway, at the end, without a high chair, the little one sat in his mother's arms. I put the pasta and baby food obviously.... The tagliata I asked for without flakes of cheese but it wasn't a tagliata but a slice for a veal cutlet... We paid 21 euros for the tagliata and 4 euros for the flakes and 2 euros for the cover charge for the child. The service was good thanks to the good manners of the waitress, even if the "owner" was rude to say the least (only for having responded to the waitress who had told him that we had ordered two flakes for the child.... And the pay is a portion of cheese) anyway I would have paid even just to have cooked my son's pasta... In conclusion I give 3 stars for the food 5 stars for the waitress's service because she was kind with her manners... 1 star environment to be taken care of and cleaned especially in the attention to the tables and bathrooms...

17/09/2025: I've had lunch at the restaurant several times and have always had a great experience. The dishes are excellent, with a Ligurian touch, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Kudos to the chef.

13/09/2025: Simply awful! Don't eat here. It's a complete disrespect for people: it's dirty, the food is poor quality, the fruit isn't fresh, the tables aren't cleared, the tables are dirty, there's trash everywhere, the saucer my coffee was on was dirty. Places like this are a disgrace to a country with such a high food culture.

18/09/2025: €5 for a can of Coke Zero with a glass without table service. It seems a bit excessive to me, knowing that I wouldn't have bought it.

03/08/2025: A good lunch break. I had a freshly prepared chicken salad. The atmosphere was quiet. The quality/price ratio was good. You can also eat outside.

05/11/2025: It’s 2:14pm. They only had a hand full of pastries. Nothing like the pictures posted here. The cashier didn’t even greet. Only said “dime”.

28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.

09/09/2025: A terrible mess. To say "price doesn't match the quality" is like saying nothing at all. The pizza was reheated in the microwave, hot on the edges, and served cold inside. The waiters don't speak English very well. When I asked for the pizza to be reheated, the lady got offended. The ham and pesto toast—the cheese was melted, the ham was cold inside, also tasteless. "I don't recommend it" is an understatement. It's a money-making machine with no quality whatsoever. It's better to go hungry.

07/11/2025: This is a terrible cafe. Not only are the prices inflated, but the food is terrible. Do not stop here under any circumstances! We ordered carbonara, and they brought us bitter pasta with rancid cheese sauce instead of cheese, and the bacon was just charcoal. We asked them to redo it, and they brought us the same pasta, but instead of charcoal bacon, they put raw bacon. When we refused to pay for this misunderstanding, they called the police, who sided with us. The pizza had very little toppings, literally a few mussels. They poured a third of a small glass of wine, and that's for 9 euros. The only good thing about this cafe, which everyone in Portofino has, is the view. That's it, there are no other good things. I would never come back here. The staff is arrogant and mean.

01/11/2025: First of all it took so long for the waiter to come ask our order despite the fact that we asked them couple of times . The food was in a very small portion , the pasta with clams served with mussels and it had only 2-3 mussels and no pasrsly , the lasagna was burnt and it tasted like a tomato paste. If I could I would have given 0.

20/07/2025: Siamo entrati attratti da dolci in vetrina, all’interno nessun prezzo esposto. Una zeppola con crema pagata 13 euro. Un ladrocinio. Da evitare.

17/07/2025: Il conto è stato salatissimo e decisamente fuori mercato. Non ci tornerò, nella stessa via si possono trovare tantissimi altri bar e caffetterie a prezzi "umani". Sconsiglio
