03/04/2025: TERRIBILE… VIETATO PROVARE Partiamo con il menù, brutto, usato, sporco, con la plastica strausata… A spilorci investite due soldi… neanche il menù curato, niente una roba terribile …. vivete perché a Portofino viene chiunque ma la cosa brutta è che non avete rispetto dei clienti… fateli pagare caro ma date qualcosa di buono o almeno o sufficiente… pomodorini con origano neanche conditi con olio e sale, brioches le più cattive mangiate quasi di sempre, la focaccia sembrava del giorno prima, la pizza come la focaccia, ma l’ameno scaldate un minimo… Torte dolci brutali, delle più scarse, accoglienza a parte il ragazzo che mi sembrava sardo molto gentile gli altri no comment

Since this is a legal obligation, such behavior is not permitted. I believe it is also disrespectful towards all the other operators who, happy or not, comply with the current legislation. In addition to being prohibited, it is also a bad message for foreign customers, who could recall typical stereotypes of Italy that in reality do not belong to us. Like the law exists, but I do as I please.

22/03/2025: Very good coffee (americano and espresso). There are various options of sweets that are pretty tasty. Not all of the staff know english.

13/04/2025: Disaster. I go in asking if we can eat with only 30 minutes of time, they tell me yes and after 25 minutes nothing has arrived. So we decide to take things away. The total bill is 47.5 for two carbonaras and a soup and two waters, obviously also charging the cover charge. They justified themselves by saying that it was the waitress' fault, but it was the owner who made the bill. Ridiculous that having asked for cutlery we found ourselves with only forks, therefore unable to eat the soup. A shame. Change jobs like everyone is writing to you.

05/04/2025: Magnificent place in the heart of Portofino, fantastic waiters, especially the blond one with the mustache and blue eyes to whom I left the number! Spritz and aperitif at a fair price and excellent quality, I will be back!

05/04/2025: After many years I manage to return to my favorite bar in all of Portofino. And luckily, nothing has changed! Splendid aperitif, clean place and super qualified staff. Last but not least, I'm thrilled to know that that beautiful, ice-eyed alpha male is still in this bar.

25/03/2025: I completely agree with the people who have left negative reviews. The owner, rude, unpleasant, annoyed and arrogant, should dedicate himself to something else and not be in contact with customers. I would also add that the place is dark and desolate, the aperitif is poor, I entered by mistake and I will never do so again. I wonder how it's still open....

08/04/2025: If you’re looking to be treated like cattle while forking over your hard-earned money, Portofino Bistrot is the place to go. From the moment we arrived, the staff made it abundantly clear we were not welcome. The waitress literally threw the salad on our table no exaggeration. Not served, not placed thrown, as if we were livestock being fed scraps. To add insult to injury, our desserts arrived at the same time as the main courses. The message was loud and clear: eat fast and get out. Unbelievable.The service? Utterly revolting. Cold, rude, and laced with a condescending attitude that bordered on racism. Funny how servers barely scraping by on Italian minimum wage feel entitled to look down on clients especially when they’re serving a clientele that could buy this place ten times over, blindfolded. Portofino may attract wealthy tourists, including many from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, but make no mistake: this restaurant is a disgrace. A pretty view doesn’t excuse disgusting behavior. Save yourself the disappointment. There are plenty of places in Portofino go anywhere but here. One of the Worst Dining Experiences of My Life.

07/04/2025: Ci siamo fermati per pranzo io e la mia compagna catturati dalla location con una bella vista sul paese, sapendo che come tutti gli altri locali i prezzi erano alti; Tralasciando l'aspetto economico se si spende ma si mangia bene il gioco può valere la candela. Detto questo abbiamo provato un antipasto misto di pesce che abbiamo diviso in due per la modica cifra di 30 euro avendo giusto giusto un assaggino a testa dato che la porzione era decisamente scarsa, provato poi due spaghetti alle vongole per 50 euro ma anche questi assolutamente niente di speciale , 8,50 un acqua da 0,75 e chicca finale un 15% sullo scontrino per aver mangiato sui tavoli fuori . quindi ricapitolando 101,78 euro per un antipasto e due piatti di spaghetti, senza contare che il cameriere capiva ben poco di italiano e il giorno dopo sia io che la mia compagna abbiamo avuto problemi di pancia e stomaco...sfortuna ? pesce di bassa qualità? boh non si sa , l'unica cosa che so è che non ci fermeremo più.

05/10/2024: Purtroppo devo segnalare che in questo bar dopo aver consumato c’è stato negato l’accesso al bagno adducendo come scusa che fosse fuori servizio, il cliente successivo, davanti a noi e conoscendo il posto ha preso la chiavi ed è entrato… complimenti un bel esempio d’ospitalità

08/02/2025: Really lousy and disgusting restaurant. The servers do not respect the customers at all. I ordered a seafood pizza, but unfortunately there was almost no seafood. The other pizzas my friends ordered were just as disgusting, with absolutely no taste. The toilets were very dirty, and the boss was shouting at the waiters. It was a disgusting experience, and on top of that, it was extremely expensive. I do not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant.

20/03/2025: Entriamo attratti dai bignè. Ordiniamo due caffè e due bignè. Il titolare gentilmente ci invita a sederci al tavolo. Ottimo il caffè e ottimo il bignè. Conto 24€. Chiedo spiegazioni e mi sento dire che è il costo del servizio al tavolo. Non siamo in Piazza San Marco e non sono un turista. Auguri.

16/03/2025: Rapporto qualità - prezzo inesistente. 18 euro per un caffè macchiato e un caffè doppio leggermente più buono rispetto al caffè dalle macchinette. Non ne vale assolutamente la pena. Da evitare a tutti i costi.
