22/05/2025: Extremely welcoming bar with pleasant service. Undoubtedly Alessio with the beard gives an incredible added value to the bar. I really hope to find him again the next time I take a plane.😂

26/01/2025: Inadequate place, disorganized for people with celiac disease, and the wait to eat a pizza is really long and annoying (almost 2 hours of waiting). Incorrect staff and not deserving of praise. I felt terrible on my birthday, never again!!! I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially my family.

01/03/2025: A dicembre in occasione dei mercatini di Natale siamo andati a prendere un aperitivo, cibo ottimo, personale professionale e molto disponibile, essendo il compleanno di mamma ho chiesto a Rocco una candelina da mettere su di un dolce....beh lui ha fatto molto di più, ha messo a sorpresa la canzone di buon compleanno coinvolgendo tutto il locale. Grazie di cuore

18/06/2025: Terrible service, highly priced at €180 for a simple lunch for 4 with just water. Refused to give a breakdown of the bill when asked, and demanded a cash tip even though the menu said a 15% service charge was already included! I just wish I’d seen these reviews before we dined here. There are so many other restaurants here, avoid this one!!!!

15/06/2025: ....un posto meraviglioso dove si respira il gusto del pesce verace....tutto accompagnato dal calore di uno staff incredibile....fatto di gentilezza e sorrisi....se si arriva in piazzetta a Portofino non si può non mangiare da Zara e Gianluca....tutto ottimo... cibo vino location e la simpatia dei loro camerieri capitanati dal Mitico Fabio Spaghetti... 07/05/2025: I went there to see a match of football, I consume 30 min before 10 € in bill, so when the match start, the waiter asked me if i want to consume anything else I said no, because I already consumed something and then person in charge said me that i must consume something else to see the match, totally unacceptable just because I ordered a while before

28/04/2025: Shameful! With the 4 year old girl sleeping in the stroller they invite us to sit down several times, despite our refusal, making us understand that it was out of courtesy, only to then TAKE OFF OF US, for three coffees, a whopping €9.60. Upon my complaints, a lady of unspecified job and age (she seemed to be around 40 years old) beside herself began to offend me, screaming and ranting against me and my chronological age (what did that have to do with it????? booooo). Well I'm 57 years old and in my entire life I've never seen such mean people! I just wanted to have a quick coffee with my wife and mother-in-law before going home, but they treated us really badly!!!!! This place is highly not recommended, there are many other places in Genoa where you can find smiles and courtesy!

06/06/2025: 18 euros for two cappuccinos (badly made), a glass of milk and three croissants seems crazy to me. Ok, historic shop but there are also redevelopments. No ATM policy can be shared but the billboards could also be avoided. I won't go back there

01/06/2025: Ruining a beautiful historic venue with “no credit card” signs is beyond bad taste, as well as illegal, disrespectful to other business owners and all the people who pay taxes on their work. They should be fined and revoked immediately.

19/04/2025: Bravissimi, come sempre. Tutto ottimo. Dall'antipasto, ai primi, la focaccia al formaggio sempre al top. Qualità prezzo eccellente.

12/04/2025: Eravamo in tre. Abbiamo ordinato una pizza margherita per nostra figlia (buona), alici fritte come antipasto (gustose), uno spaghetto alle vongole e un risotto alla marinara. Il cameriere ci ha consigliato di aggiungere i carciofi a entrambi i primi: scelta poco felice. Lo spaghetto alle vongole è stato snaturato, e il risotto, trasformato in un piatto al formaggio con carciofi, era immangiabile. Sul conto, oltre ai 19€ del risotto, sono stati aggiunti 4€ per i carciofi, e lo stesso sovrapprezzo anche per lo spaghetto. 8€ in più per un’aggiunta che ha peggiorato entrambi i piatti. Esperienza deludente.

01/06/2025: Worst experience in a restaurant Wedding with 80 people and no one managed to eat all the meals and most people managed to eat almost nothing Staff abandoning their station and a chef with a very white nose who was dripping sweat inside the plates and muttering random excuses but without ever admitting that he had made a huge mess. Never, I repeat, NEVER go there I hope that the right measures are taken

20/05/2025: I would like to express my solidarity for what happened to that married couple, it must have been truly unpleasant.....a few years ago I wrote a review about what happened regarding my wedding....let's hope that someone takes action.

30/05/2025: El lugar es turístico estafa. Los precios de las bebidas no están en la tarjeta y son extorsiones. Botella pequeña de coque 17 euros, botella de agua 12 euros, botella pequeña ( 0 , 33 ) de oso 20 euros. No lo enumeran en el menú y cobran una cantidad loca. Leer otros comentarios La gente tiene una experiencia similar, 40 euros por una pizza. ¡Mejor evita!

04/06/2025: The restaurant looked quite cute from the outside. I ordered vegetable soup and mushrooms for antipasti. The mushrooms made my husband and I sick, and the soup wasn't seasoned. My husband's spaghetti ragu was rather mediocre. Not recommended, given all the good alternatives. It was also excessively expensive for the portion sizes. The waitress took our plates away immediately after we'd finished our last bite; we couldn't even put down our napkins.

25/05/2025: Frozen pizza, the dough wasn't fresh. The pasta was poor quality, boring, and there was no cheese on the table. They charge for cutlery, and the service leaves much to be desired. It's nice to eat outside because it's sunny... But nothing more. Very expensive for what it is.

03/06/2025: The food was great, I really enjoyed my pesto pasta and the view is unbeatable. The staff are very kind. The only problem for me were the prices, I spent almost 50€ on lunch for one person. Pasta was 23€, water was 8.50€, and a Coca Cola was 10€. And there was a surcharge of around 6€. It was a little more expensive than I think it’s worth, but honestly not bad. Again, the food was great and the view was amazing, youre just in a touristy area 🤷‍♀️

09/06/2025: If only we'd seen the reviews here beforehand! From the outside, the place looks unassuming and ordinary. You even have to search for the correct name, so be careful not to end up here by mistake. They sell frozen pizza for €9! The portions are tiny. The entire menu is translated into English, except for the note at the bottom that the dishes are made from frozen foods. They're deliberately trying to rip off tourists. In response to the criticism, the waitress replied that it's a bar, not a restaurant. Considering that their main business isn't supposed to be food, there's quite a selection. All the dishes were equally disappointing.

08/06/2025: It's a cute place and the food is very good, but service is incredibly slow and disorganized. I ordered a pesto pasta, the waiter told my father who ordered a bruschetta that his dish wasn't available and he got gnocchi instead, but when she brought our food it turned out my dish was the one unavailable and my father got his bruschetta just fine. The gnocchi was good but I would've liked the option to pick what to have as a replacement. In general the server seemed to avoid our table several times, and getting anything at all was very slow (our food arrived before our drinks and only after we reminded them a couple times). There's better places to visit.

02/06/2025: The attitude is terrible. They don't respond when you talk to them and slam the change on the table without even looking at you or saying hello. I will definitely not be back!

29/04/2025: Ricordando il livello del locale di molto tempo fa (20 anni) ci sono tornato per prendere uno spritz con un amico. Spritz pessimo, fatto aggiungendo acqua per risparmiare (semmai, aggiungi seltz, non acqua). Sembrava analcolico tanta acqua c'era. Personale maleducato, della serie entri, lui fa quello che deve fare, serve i tavoli fuori e tu li, senza manco che ti saluti. Finalmente si rivolge a te, ordini. Usciamo e ci sistemiamo su un tavolo. Il titolare esce che no, che su quel tavolo non servono aperitivi che il tavolo e' instabile, che dobbiamo cambiare che basta girare l'angolo e ci sono molti tavoli liberi.....evabbe'..... Al momento di pagare (9 euro ad aperitivo, e non siamo a Portofino in piazzetta, chiariamoci, ma in un posto mediocre nel centro della città), avevo una banconota da 100 euro. "La macchinetta non legge i cento euro. Mi dia una carta". L'avevo e non volevo discutere, ma un negoziante DEVE prendere le banconote. Se non gli funziona la macchinetta che controlla le banconote e' un problema suo, non mio. Attenti, pensateci molto prima di andare in questo posto
