28/05/2025: This bar is perfect for those who want to find helpfulness and kindness like never before in other places. The girl is always smiling and very gracious in her ways and in her actions that put you at ease. It feels like being with a friend. Excellent aperitifs and lots of choice. I recommend it if you are passing through the hospital or for a break with friends. Very satisfied. Thanks for the moments I spent here to the owner who cheered me up even in the dark moments.

13/05/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, with kind and helpful waiting staff. There were eight of us for dinner with two children (and a dog) and it was a wonderful evening for everyone. The cost, around €35 ​​per person, was more than justified by the excellent quality food and wine, with dishes that were also not easy to find elsewhere. Highly recommended.

12/05/2025: My daughter, who had been talking to me enthusiastically about this restaurant for some time, took me; I have to say he was right. Everything was excellent, not only the meat but also the rest (I would like to point out the tagliolini with black truffle), friendly and pleasant staff, good choice of wines, correct prices and mark-ups. 2 people, 2 tartare, 1 mixed crouton, 1 truffle cutter, 1 sliced ​​meat, 1 good bottle of Barbera, 110 Euros. Correct and satisfactory.

20/05/2025: Nei vicoli della movida genovese mi è stato assegnato un tavolo al piano inferiore magari un po anonimo ma molto riservato praticamente un prive". Quanto proposto ha incontrato il gusto di entrambi. Piatti ben eseguiti e presentati. Porzioni corrette e prezzi adeguati alla proposta. Io ero di passaggio ma se fossi della zona ci ritornerei.

02/05/2025: Prima di questa esperienza non conoscevamo Cibus 13, ma adesso non vediamo l'idea di tornarci durante la nostra prossima visita a Genova. È davvero un locale grazioso, in cui si percepisce l'influenza del mondo e delle sue culture. Anche l'interno è affascinante e per niente banale. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono e onesto e non è dettato solo dalla qualità del cibo, che è ottima, ma anche dalla gentilezza e professionalità del personale. Si percepisce la loro passione e dedizione per Cibus 13. Decisamente consigliato!!

02/05/2025: We stopped for lunch today 02.05 after a tour along the seafront of Cogoleto. We weren't aware of the place, it's located a little further away from the walk... But what can I say! The restaurant was recently renovated, the light colors bring a lot of light and then Mr. Andrea, very nice. Excellent service, Mrs. Gabriella as well as a cook prepares sublime dishes. The fresh pasta first courses are very abundant, so much so that even with one first course you are full! After the pasta we also tried the mixed fry which was super successful. Despite the generous portions, they are still light as well as good and tasty. The dessert, excellent! Atmosphere with relaxing music in the background and the bill, compared to the quality and quantity of the food, is perfect.

10/05/2025: I often find myself in Valfontanabuona and during my lunch break I stop here to eat. Tastefully renovated and clean environment, trained staff but a special applause to the kitchen and especially to their mandilli al pesto, thin to the right point, fantastic pesto (with the final mopping up of the sauce), a real delirium that will make your eyes roll, congratulations and see you soon! Highly recommended.

23/05/2025: È raro uscire da un ristorante con la sensazione di aver vissuto qualcosa di davvero speciale, ma è esattamente quello che è successo dopo la cena da Hostaria Ducale. Ci siamo trovati lì quasi per caso, in una serata genovese di pioggia leggera, e sin dall’ingresso abbiamo percepito una cura fuori dal comune. Il locale è raccolto, intimo, arredato con gusto ma senza ostentazioni. Non c'è musica di sottofondo: solo voci basse, piatti che arrivano con grazia, e una certa sospensione del tempo. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. I camerieri si muovono in silenzio, presenti ma mai invadenti. Una ragazza in particolare ci ha accompagnati per tutta la cena con discrezione e gentilezza, rispondendo alle nostre curiosità con chiarezza e senza fretta. Non c’è nulla di affettato nei loro modi: si sente che ci tengono davvero a farti stare bene. Abbiamo scelto il percorso degustazione da otto portate, e ogni piatto è stato un piccolo viaggio. Indimenticabile il risotto con anguilla affumicata, un equilibrio perfetto tra cremosità, affumicatura e acidità. Il piccione con foie gras è arrivato come un’opera teatrale ben costruita: cottura magistrale, sapori profondi, senza eccessi. Anche i dessert, spesso trascurati altrove, qui brillano per inventiva e precisione.

The wines were delicious and the desert amazing with the sticky wine to end the meal was the best. The staff were so friendly and welcoming to us. We loved it.
