08/07/2025: I live above and I had never given this place the right rating. I decided to book hearing so much good things about it AND THEY WERE RIGHT. Very fresh raw café with dried tomatoes and olives amazing, Irish Angus 1k and 200 but if they had been 2, they would have gone down very well. The meat is butter, tasty like I hadn't tasted for a long time. My 15 month old son particularly enjoyed the potatoes 😀 impeccable service. The final surprise was the bill really for the quality of the meat, the service and everything is really accessible to everyone 💓

03/05/2025: Ate really good meat, family-run place that puts its heart into what it does....a nice dinner characterized by friendliness in an informal atmosphere. And I recommend the meat absolutely rare otherwise the chef will get angry

04/10/2025: Idyllic terrace in the middle of this rustic town. There's only the menu of the day, so nothing to choose except the drinks. One of the best lasagna's I've had! Very kind people and I could tell they cared about their service. Tip: their POS terminal wasn't working, so best not to rely on that and bring cash.

09/10/2025: Last night, I was lucky enough to get a table. Very friendly service and a delicious pizza and salad. With the house wine and water, we had a pleasant evening.

07/10/2025: We waited over an hour for four pizzas. Guests who arrived after us got their food first. That's not easy with two hungry children.

09/10/2025: We had the spicy mussels. Very good and a generous portion. One dish for 2 as a starter (not very spicy) Then 2 pasta dishes (good family cooking) (almost enough for 2 people, 1 dish for average appetites). We tried it, enjoy your meal.

21/09/2025: We went for dinner for my birthday. The welcome was not very pleasant, lacking a smile, and the patience was poor (annoyed by our questions and they didn't hide it). Communication was difficult because we spoke little Italian and they spoke little French and no English. However, the pasta was very good, the fried calamari was also good, and the dessert (tiramisu) was not very good (very cold and very compact), which is the height of absurdity for a typical dessert. We have mixed feelings about this establishment. The staff would benefit from being pleasant, welcoming, and friendly.

26/08/2025: Highly recommended by a friend, we dined there on Friday and were not disappointed. There were four of us and we made a reservation. We stared at the very tempting menu for 20 minutes without being able to choose... Between the à la carte menu and the suggestions, we could have had everything 😅 In the end, the four of us had the fried anchovies, the cod fritters with a pepper cream, the scallops au gratin, a local fish tartare, a grilled sea bream for two, the Catalan-style scampi, and the tender green seafood gnochetti. All the dishes were delicious and the ingredients were ultra-fresh!!! We had a blast!!! Finally, only two of us had room for dessert, and we both chose the frangipane and fig tart with a scoop of ice cream. I loved the combination of textures and flavors. A beautiful family restaurant with elegant service and a relaxed atmosphere, and above all quality products and original cuisine. We will return. Thank you Dino and your family 🫶🏼

01/09/2025: A small eatery with only a few dishes on the menu. But the food is excellent. The menu includes a pasta dish, a meat dish, and half a white bread. A fantastic lunch!

02/08/2025: A delightful discovery today, a very pleasant and well-presented characteristic place. Excellent service, excellent menu and cuisine, it has a small outdoor area, the best I've tried in Voltri. Fair prices.

17/10/2025: I had lunch at Osteria Gattabuia with five friends. One of us ordered a fish dish, but the amount was minimal, especially considering the medium-high price of the menu. For this reason, the waitress had it taken back to the kitchen. Then, someone who looked like the chef, despite being dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt, not a white jacket or toque, came to our table. This person put his hands directly on the plate, in front of everyone, taking out the food and shouting that it was fish. A completely inappropriate scene.

11/10/2025: The food is very good, with fresh and original options like the orange linguine with clams and lemon pesto. The prices aren't cheap, but they're reasonable for the quality of the ingredients and the portion size. The outdoor seating is very pleasant. The staff is very friendly, and the service is fast. If I had to find a flaw, I'd say Bob Marley's "One Love" playing constantly gets annoying after a while. The overall price is reasonable, and they even gave us a discount. We'll definitely be back.
