24/08/2025: I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food is exquisite: tasty and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. Another strong point is definitely the staff: young, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They make you feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to eat well and experience a special moment! I will definitely be back.

20/08/2025: I dined here on Wednesday evening with my wife and two teenage children. The restaurant enjoys a splendid sea view and the location is truly evocative. Unfortunately, however, the experience didn't live up to expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt a somewhat cold welcome, and the service was slow: about ten minutes to receive the menus and another fifteen to place our order. Even our request for a wine recommendation wasn't handled with the helpfulness one would expect in a restaurant of this caliber. The dishes in the kitchen were mixed: the mussels with pepper sauce, the ravioli with ragù, and the Chianina beef burger were all very good, while the panciotti were truly excellent. The calamarata was less successful, served with a "cream" that was too runny, and the dessert was unconvincing, presented as cheesecake but far from the classic versions. I fully understand that it's your reinterpretation... but believe me... I'm the chef of a fairly important restaurant. The bill, €140 for four people, is average, but isn't fully justified by the service received. My real disappointment is that my children felt treated differently than other guests, something that should never happen on a holiday evening. With more attention to hospitality and a few tweaks to the dishes, the restaurant could truly make the most of its splendid location. Because even though the evening wasn't perfect, I remain convinced that with more attention to the customer, regardless of dress or other considerations, this restaurant could offer unforgettable experiences.

24/08/2025: The atmosphere is traditional, authentic, and typical of the Ligurian hinterland. The food is excellent, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. Local dishes with a touch of originality. It's best to call to reserve; we were lucky because a group cancelled. The village of Cosio is worth seeing.

13/08/2025: We stopped at this trattoria after visiting the nearby Acropark. Honestly, we weren't expecting anything; we just wanted a plate of pasta and some shelter from the summer heat. The service was excellent; the kids each ate two plates of fettuccine, while my husband and I had the house tasting menu. To call it excellent is an understatement! We had five appetizers, a first course, and three second courses. All traditional Ligurian dishes. Water and house rosé wine were included. Dessert, coffee, and a liqueur were included. The service was excellent; it's one of those trattorias where you feel at home, not like a stranger. The waiter, who I think was also the owner, even though the dining room was full, made sure to chat with us and our kids, making the experience even more enjoyable. The best part? The bill, which pleasantly surprised us; for a lunch like this, we would have been willing to pay much more! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely know where to go for lunch!

24/07/2025: Sembra di essere in famiglia... Durante il nostro soggiorno a Riomaggiore abbiamo più volte pranzato e cenato alla Trattoria dell'Amore e ne siamo rimaste entusiaste. Il locale è accogliente, con un'atmosfera calda che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Il personale è simpatico, attento e sempre disponibile a soddisfare ogni richiesta con il sorriso, facendoti sentire davvero come a casa. Il cibo è ottimo, preparato con ingredienti di qualità e grande cura, e anche il vino proposto si è rivelato all'altezza delle aspettative. In definitiva, una trattoria dove sembra di essere in famiglia: un’esperienza che consigliamo e che speriamo di ripetere presto! Grazie ancora ragazze! Paola e Chiara

25/08/2025: The rib-eye steak and baked potatoes were excellent. We dined outside and everyone was incredibly friendly. The waitress we ordered dessert from was super nice and friendly! Well done everyone! It's best to book!

05/08/2025: Tasty tasty pizza in a cozy alleyway. Prices are cheap and the owner is a lovely chap. He didn’t speak english at all but we worked it out just fine. Highly recommend!

04/08/2025: A cozy, authentic pizzeria. A pleasant atmosphere and friendly service in a beautiful location. The owner is a friendly Italian man who makes everything himself (by himself!). Superb pizzas. Highly recommended! The wine is also fantastic, and the owner probably sources it from his own cellar every time! Limited seating... for the lucky ones.

16/02/2025: On my way back from a course, I stopped by this bar for a beer before heading home. Even though I live in the area, I'd never been there before and wanted to try it. What can I say? I had a great time. The owner's brother was there that day, a very friendly guy. I immediately felt like a regular, even though I'd never been before. The beer was excellent and the prices fair. Highly recommended.

27/07/2025: Terrible food, and to think that we are in a 5 star hotel, absolutely to be avoided

26/04/2025: Despite the kindness of the dining room staff, the experience in the restaurant of this 5-star hotel was nothing short of shocking. The quality of ingredients and preparation is scandalously low: farmed fish and many pre-cooked and frozen dishes. But the peak was reached when they served us a second course of chicken completely covered in plastic, which we even ate! We found ourselves ingesting plastic, a carcinogenic and harmful substance. The waiter's apologies and the dish not being charged to the bill do not erase the seriousness of such an episode. The absence of an intervention and an apology from the chef directly in the room was a further demonstration of a lack of professionalism in the face of such an unprecedented event. To be absolutely avoided until the chef has changed and everything has been redone from scratch.

02/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the corner of the street. The ambience inside is nice, cozy and warm. I think they are short of staffing since the restaurant was always full but apparently there are only 2 services. This leads to they cannot pay enough attention. We were waiting at the door for a while and for ordering and all. The staff speak mostly no English. There is no Wi-Fi; therefore we hardly can order since all the menu was written in Italian. The food is nice I would say. Except from the pasta with clamps; more than half of the clamps were closed and cannot be eaten Compare to the price, I would say the restaurant is good and worth the money. May consider to come back ;)

03/09/2025: Found on Google Maps... returning from the French Riviera... very beautiful and well-kept place... very welcoming and professional service... delicious food... that seafood risotto is simply phenomenal... when we pass through the area again we will definitely stop... I highly recommend trying it
