13/01/2026: Pleasant Ligurian dinner. We ate well; the dishes were plentiful and tasty. The staff were courteous and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

03/01/2026: We were craving pizza at lunchtime and we searched on Google and it came up, 5 minutes from our house... two pizzas, chips, a drink, three desserts for €45... good ingredients and a light pizza that you could eat two of... It will become a place to frequent regularly... even during my lunch break because I work there and it's just 5 minutes away if I throw myself from the roof of a locomotive 😂😂

13/01/2026: On our second, completely unplanned visit, Le Cicale in Città has undeniably established itself as one of Genoa's top seafood destinations. We returned almost instinctively, and it was a rewarding choice: a simply exceptional amberjack tartare, impeccable in its quality of ingredients, balanced seasoning, and crisp flavor. A simple, elegant dish that speaks of the sea with great precision. This was followed by a second course of equally high-quality fish, cooked with expert technique and rare sensitivity, where every element was perfectly placed. A decisive added value was the service: attentive, competent, and never intrusive, capable of accompanying the experience without weighing it down. But above all, we must mention Chef Costa, who personally presented the dishes to us: a gesture that is anything but predictable, conveying passion, awareness of his work, and respect for the customer. When the chef puts his face—and his words—on what arrives on the table, the perceived quality grows even further. What's striking, when you return, is the continuity of excellence: not a one-off success, but a clear and consistent approach, rigorously maintained. A relaxed atmosphere, great attention to detail, and that rare feeling of being in exactly the right place. Le Cicale in Città isn't just an excellent restaurant: it's a sure thing. And when a place impresses even more on a second visit, especially an unplanned one, it's truly hit the mark. Highly recommended.

08/12/2025: I had already dined at this restaurant about a year and a half ago and was thrilled: carefully prepared dishes, balanced flavors, and an overall excellent experience. Unfortunately, my husband's birthday dinner turned out to be a huge disappointment. • Fritto misto: excessively greasy, difficult to enjoy. • Monkfish: so salty it was inedible, so much so that I had to send it back and receive an apology from the kitchen. • Fish soup: spectacularly presented in bread, but the contents were a blended cream without even a single piece of whole fish. • Scallops: served on a bed of cold broccoli, accompanied by unpleasant-tasting guanciale. A real shame, because I remembered this place as a benchmark for quality cuisine. This time, however, every dish fell short of expectations and ruined a special occasion.

20/07/2025: We had 2 nights in July 2025. Beautiful room, with fresco. Very authentic. Cozy garden. The hostess was super sweet and welcoming, the sommelier was very knowledgeable and charming and the chef was brilliant. We had their tasting menu the first night, wonderful food, everything was really delicious. The second night we chose their vegetarian tasting menu and were blown away by a cold melon soup, it was fantastic. My warmest recommendations for both accommodation and dinner. Excellent food with excellent quality raw materials. Excellent combinations, refined, you can see that there is real attention. The environment is intimate and elegant but does not create any kind of discomfort. Excellent service

15/11/2025: We had lunch today at Agriturismo Cà Sottane, and it was a truly enjoyable day. The menu is rich and authentic: varied and delicious appetizers, followed by two first courses and two second courses prepared with quality ingredients, many of which come directly from the farm. The value for money is truly excellent, and you can sense the care and passion that goes into the cooking. The property is surrounded by greenery, among olive trees and the scents of aromatic herbs, creating a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. One of the best things about it is the family atmosphere: the agriturismo is managed with care and kindness, and you immediately feel a genuine welcome. The children had a blast thanks to the educational farm: chickens, geese, peacocks, donkeys, and dogs made the day even more special for them. It's a perfect place for families, where little ones can discover animals and nature in a simple and fun way. Furthermore, the extra virgin olive oil they produce, typical of the area and made from Taggiasca olives, is truly excellent and further enhances the gastronomic experience. In short: excellent food, a welcoming place, an authentic atmosphere, and ideal for both adults and children. We'll definitely be back!

14/01/2026: Great hospitality The hotel is located just outside the city center, has ample parking, and a highly rated restaurant. Our stay was delightful, with simple but comfortable rooms equipped with every comfort. The price was very reasonable.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve at this restaurant! Very good food, plentiful, traditional, and made with quality, locally sourced ingredients. The staff was incredibly friendly throughout the evening. The price was truly excellent for the evening and everything they offered! They even left us a gift bag with hats, trumpets, and more for midnight! The icing on the cake...we were with our 20-month-old daughter, and they have a play area perfect for kids of all ages. Even the dish they offered her (gnocchi with tomato sauce) was delicious; she ate it all!

03/02/2026: Generous portions and excellent quality! Fast service and very friendly owners, a small but very liveable place. It's a shame the road is very busy and parking is limited. Anyway, highly recommended. It's just a few minutes from the center of Imperia and just before the shopping area, on the route to southern Piedmont and Turin.

13/01/2026: A typical Italian osteria; the owners are very friendly and don't just offer run-of-the-mill food, they really cater to their guests' wishes. The portions are very generous, and I think everyone leaves satisfied. Since the first plate was already very filling, I only ordered a dessert afterward. With half a liter of wine and a coffee, it came to €20, which is perfectly reasonable, and everything was delicious.

02/10/2025: Entering this place is like stepping back in time, like when you visit aunt and uncle you haven't seen in a while. They warmly welcome you and invite you to enjoy their delicious dishes, the delicious sandwiches named after their favorite singers, not to mention the delicious sweet and savory pies. My daughter and I love going there because they always greet you with a warm smile; we enjoy going there even just for a coffee and to say hello.
