28/03/2025: We came and expected nothing but we we're blown away by the hostess' friendliness and the level of service even though we didn't speak the same language. The quality of the food is incredible. Best ragu we've ever had. Best tiramisu we've ever had. Great wine, great beer, great everything! We returned for a second night and had just as great an experience! If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience this is THE place. And the prices are very fair!

14/03/2025: This is such a lovely family run restaurant! We went during the off season and it was very quiet but the food was homemade and the service was great. Would recommend if you are in the area!

07/10/2025: Excellent osteria with tasty dishes. Tagliatelle with cod and olives (the photo is a half portion because we split the dish between two), breaded rabbit, and fig panna cotta.

28/09/2025: 😡😞😡😞😡😞😡😞😡😞 A location that has no place on trip advisor from my point of view. The restaurant itself is a mess, literally dirty and unkempt. I don't think any investment has been made in it in the last 20 years. The water didn't drain in the bathroom and the water from the sink barely flowed. Total mess. The pizza is a 6/10 and for two pizzas we waited over an hour. Two slow old men in the kitchen, to whom I told them that it would have been normal to announce to customers that they had to wait over an hour before being served. They became aggressive and violent in their language. Everyone in the restaurant was unhappy with this long wait. I would never repeat this experience, especially given that the pizza was only average in quality.

09/09/2025: Honestly, we had booked at another restaurant, but due to our delay, our table was given to someone else. Fair enough, no fuss, in fact, thank you! We discovered this place, seemingly anonymous from abroad but welcoming, intimate, and elegant inside, specifically in the courtyard. Indeed, upon entering, we find a hallway with the cash register, the restrooms (clean and tidy), the kitchen, and then the restaurant area with a beautiful, well-kept, and quiet internal courtyard. The dishes are well-presented and flavorful. Excellent wine selection. Coffee in the Moka pot at the table. Attentive service. Prices in line with the aforementioned setting. Recommended.

07/09/2025: The best restaurant in Sarzana, without a doubt. The location is very pleasant, with the added bonus of dining in a lovely garden. All the staff are very welcoming, and customers are well looked after. In addition to the well-designed menu, this restaurant strives to ensure customers receive only the highest quality, freshest ingredients. For this reason, the prices are completely in line with the offerings. Ottone I was a truly wonderful discovery. Kudos to the entire staff, keep up the good work!

14/09/2025: You can eat anywhere from 10 to industrial quantities and spend very little, which is no small thing. The service leaves much to be desired, too little staff, various oversights on the table!

17/10/2025: We only had the chance to have an afternoon snack, so we can't judge the cuisine, but the pear tart and pandolce were very good! Always a distinctly Italian atmosphere at the counters of these cafes!

10/10/2025: We were German tourists. It's definitely not a tourist spot. There are no German or English menus, nor does the staff speak good English. But that's exactly what makes it special. We wanted real, authentic Italian cuisine. And that's exactly what we got. Everything was delicious and super fresh. Exactly what we imagined. The ambiance is Italian, modern/rustic. Definitely recommended.

22/09/2025: I've been wanting to go for a while, and I took the opportunity today for lunch. Family-friendly, truly welcoming atmosphere, excellent and plentiful food. You can choose from a set lunch menu or à la carte without sacrificing quality. Prices are fair (in fact, even low compared to the quality and competition). Very friendly staff, warm welcome, and fast service. Generous portions, excellent dessert of pineapple and mango ice cream. Highly recommended for a pleasant break. The outdoor area is very well-kept, while the interior is warm and welcoming. Excellent, we hope to return soon.

24/09/2025: Excellent quality, the creaminess of their pastries is sublime! The coffee is good, and the lady is incredibly kind! She gave me her cell phone number if I wanted to go for breakfast tomorrow morning (I'm a tourist), and she'll save me whatever they want if I arrive late. They have everything you'd expect from an excellent pastry shop. I'll definitely be back. Laura

21/10/2025: What can I say? A fixed point. Sometimes I hear people say you have to evolve, change, adapt. Edo Bar proves that this isn't always the case. Perhaps the color of the checkered tablecloths has changed in 15 years. Everything is as good as ever. From the starters, to the farinata, cheese focaccia, and desserts. Reasonable prices and discounted parking next door. Magical. I also recommend it to outsiders who want to try Ligurian cuisine. Thanks for staying the same!

13/09/2025: We’ve been living here for almost 20yrs & have tried many many pizzas. This place 100% has the best pizza in the Peligna Valley. Great prices to eat in or take away.

12/09/2025: Gorgeous location, very kind and courteous wait staff, but what struck me most were the truly generous portions and fair prices. Usually, when you think of a restaurant, you'd think the prices would be outrageous and you'd still leave hungry, but instead I ate divinely, exquisite food, and I left truly satisfied and happy. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: I discovered La Buga by chance two years ago during a stay in Chiavari and was enchanted by everything. I returned last week for two nights in a row; I would have continued, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed for rest.
