02/11/2025: Very nice place and close to the parking lot, so it's a great location. The staff is really friendly, but most importantly, the food is good! I recommend it, and I'd definitely go back.

01/11/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well it just didn’t taste right.
To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.
09/09/2025: Honestly, we had booked at another restaurant, but due to our delay, our table was given to someone else. Fair enough, no fuss, in fact, thank you! We discovered this place, seemingly anonymous from abroad but welcoming, intimate, and elegant inside, specifically in the courtyard. Indeed, upon entering, we find a hallway with the cash register, the restrooms (clean and tidy), the kitchen, and then the restaurant area with a beautiful, well-kept, and quiet internal courtyard. The dishes are well-presented and flavorful. Excellent wine selection. Coffee in the Moka pot at the table. Attentive service. Prices in line with the aforementioned setting. Recommended.

24/11/2025: We ordered pasta with pesto and a Recco-style focaccia. While I was going to the bathroom, I overheard the chef asking the waiter whether the pasta with pesto had been ordered by a tourist or a local, as if there were a lower-quality pesto for out-of-towners. I was mistaken for a tourist, but unfortunately, I'm a true Genoese and I can tell perfectly well when the pesto I'm served is made by Barilla and not fresh as they make it out to be. This is a bad attitude; they'll never see me again.

02/12/2025: The trattoria has a great atmosphere; you can tell it's a very refined place. I didn't like the staff; they were quite aloof and a bit surly at times, but the table service was prompt. The food was good, not exceptional. The bill was exorbitant for what we ate: two very modest first courses and an equally small second course, which I forgot to photograph. The quality isn't poor, but considering the price, it's questionable. The wine was good. A good trattoria, overpriced, but overall good. I wouldn't return.
17/11/2025: Having booked with The Fork, I contacted the restaurant through the platform to ask about the menu, but received no response. A few hours before dinner, I received a message from the platform saying that the restaurant unilaterally cancelled the reservation because they couldn't contact me. This is impossible, given that it's always possible through The Fork. I'm certain that the fact that I booked with a discount coupon had nothing to do with the incident, but certain things do raise suspicions. I'd heard about the "renowned Genoese hospitality," but starting like this is a bit sad. My compliments, indeed.

28/03/2025: We came and expected nothing but we we're blown away by the hostess' friendliness and the level of service even though we didn't speak the same language. The quality of the food is incredible.
Best ragu we've ever had. Best tiramisu we've ever had. Great wine, great beer, great everything!
We returned for a second night and had just as great an experience! If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience this is THE place. And the prices are very fair!
14/03/2025: This is such a lovely family run restaurant! We went during the off season and it was very quiet but the food was homemade and the service was great. Would recommend if you are in the area!

12/12/2025: A truly positive experience.
We stayed at this hotel over the Immaculate Conception weekend with our dog.
The location is incredible.
Right in the center but away from the chaos.
Everything is within walking distance, including the beach, which is just 30 meters away.
The rooms are super warm, spotlessly clean, and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast and a relaxing atmosphere.
The entire staff was incredibly professional and kind.
I recommend it 100%.

05/10/2025: A very well-kept place, ideal for drinking good wine given the vast selection curated for all palates, accompanied by tapas for all tastes (meat, fish, and vegetarian). The girls are helpful and you can see the passion they put into their work. The only negative note is the €25 cold cuts and cheese platter. I understand the desire to choose more refined products, but the very small quantity, intended as a sharing platter for an aperitif, does not justify the price compared to other similar places of the same level which, despite the excellent products, provide platters of a different size.

22/09/2025: Pleasant atmosphere, slow service, food with some interesting ideas but lacking technique and attention to the preparation of the dishes (e.g. the poached egg is not breaded - while the one served despite the name is - but, above all, if you serve a dish with an egg that must have a practically raw yolk inside, you can't serve it with a hard-boiled egg effect. They can improve, for now it's "NI" with a price too high for what is offered.

01/12/2025: I only buy pesto for myself and my friends and take it back to Veneto. We think it's spectacular. Last time, I had to pre-order because I took 7 kg. Given the amount I spent, they gave me a few pieces of focaccia, and I have to say, I thought it was delicious.

20/11/2025: Couples' birthday dinner, unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it.
Rushed and inattentive service.
We discovered there was a set menu when they presented us with the bill.
There was no menu; the dishes were listed verbally and hastily.
It was supposed to be a romantic dinner, but we felt like we were eating in a cafeteria.
They had a large table, but that shouldn't affect the quality of the food or the service of other paying customers.
Quite expensive, and the food wasn't memorable.
