28/10/2025: Excellent restaurant to which I have returned and will gladly return several times, both for quiet dinners and for events such as birthdays, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and good, refined and seasonal dishes.
25/10/2025: I've been coming here for years because the food, location, and staff are fantastic. I've tasted some of the best food I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.
P.S.: The focaccia served at the beginning of the meal is one of the best in Genoa, in my opinion.

02/12/2025: The appetizers were good. The fish-based main course was good. However, everything lacked that little something extra to make it excellent. Overall, it was average to good.
12/11/2025: Friendly staff, very fast service, and delicious food.
The Pernigotti Boccadasse focaccia was truly delicious, the fried mushrooms and fried calamari were very good and not at all heavy.
The Panera parfait was very good and plentiful.
The price was fair.

26/10/2025: Right in the city center, a place with limited seating and the option to eat outside (at a slight incline, as the street isn't flat). They welcomed us with a small entree. The fried food was good, but not well-drained and served on paper towels instead of paper towels (which were more absorbent). The paella was good, though very greasy, with little chicken, lots of sausages, and some mussels that weren't good. Overall, the shrimp had an ammonia-like aftertaste. I wouldn't return.

08/12/2025: Excellent service... homemade ravioli with unique ancient flavors... a skillful recipe where you can taste both the meat and the herbs... the thyme.
The panigacci with cold cuts and grilled meat are excellent. Excellent service.
12/11/2025: A pleasant evening in a retro and elegant setting, the service was quick and attentive, and the staff were knowledgeable about the dishes. The panigacci were excellent, as were the cured meats, which, with the specials, pair beautifully with stracchino and gorgonzola. The cheeses and jams were delicious, and the sliced beef melted in your mouth. The desserts were highly recommended.

28/11/2025: I was disappointed by the extremely slow service; the waitress serving us paid no attention to us at all; a long time passed after we ordered and then between courses. I was also disappointed by the Piedmontese appetizer: I was expecting at least some raw beef or veal with tuna sauce, but instead there was a paltry stuffed egg, a slice of pepper with anchovy, two very thin slices of tongue, and some giardiniera... €18, certainly not the classic Piedmontese appetizer one expects and eats in Piedmont.
16/10/2025: A splendid restaurant, fine wines, and excellent cuisine. Worth a visit.

13/11/2025: We enjoyed a tasting of six excellent, fresh, and well-seasoned seafood dishes, which we shared as a starter. The seafood spaghetti was exceptional, the best we've had, with a wide variety of seafood, perfectly cooked, and very generous portions.
Desserts: creamy tiramisu and torroncino, both also very good. The house wine (white for us) was excellent value. All for €76. We highly recommend this restaurant.

25/11/2025: A very good Italian restaurant. A very friendly, family atmosphere. The setting is lovely. The pizzas are excellent, as are the pasta and chicken. We'll be back.
Remember to book ahead as it gets very busy...

14/12/2025: Everything is really good and fresh. Definitely worth a visit for an evening of good food.
13/12/2025: We are probably a little biased being from Genoa and a few steps from the restaurant, but I can say that we ate really well with excellent service, served in our case by a very knowledgeable young man from Sri Lanka named Mali who speaks perfect Italian and who also made some funny jokes to us, I recommend this restaurant to those who want to taste something different while still remaining in typical Ligurian cuisine.

24/09/2025: I found it to be a "rustic" place, just the way I like it. The dishes are few but well-prepared.
It's also a wine bar, but I didn't bother with the wine.
Delicious sandwiches and Tuscan dishes.
I'll gladly return.

Very good quality, really nothing to complain about.

30/11/2025: Old-fashioned places, fantastic farinata even if the place isn't very well-groomed... let's put it that way. It's the tavern of the past... and I hope it retains that 80s flavor that no longer exists.
24/11/2025: Subjective opinion but for me and all the people I know it remains the best farinata in Savona and I invite people passing through these parts to stop and taste a true delicacy from Western Liguria.

03/12/2025: I've been to the Vecchio Borgo restaurant in Chiavari several times, and I must say it has never disappointed me. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is always kind and attentive, and above all, the food is truly delicious: fresh, expertly cooked fish, with fair prices and more than satisfying portions.
During my last visit, I found an unexpected surprise on the menu: an Albanian dessert. One of my guests was Albanian and greatly appreciated the quality and authenticity of the dish, which further confirms the restaurant's attention to raw materials and preparation.
In short: absolutely recommended.
