10/08/2025: Last night we had dinner at this very cute and charming restaurant, a table surrounded by olive trees in a very characteristic little square in Albenga. It's a shame the amatriciana wasn't up to par; it seemed to be made with tomato paste, so my husband didn't eat it. The rabbit was passable, but overcooked and overcooked. Extremely expensive, and very poor value for money.

06/07/2025: Comfortable hotel, abundant and varied breakfast, excellent service, dinner with quality products, possibility of lunch, bathroom without bidet and room without mini bar, steps to reach the rooms, a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can relax and read in complete tranquility. Recommended

17/08/2025: We went there twice this week and had pizza to go. Very good service, and the short wait was easily passed with a beer. The pizza has a nice, thin crust and a fruity sauce – compliments!

04/08/2025: Uns wurde das Restaurant von unserem Host empfohlen, wir waren nur 2 Nächte in Leivi und beide davon in diesem Lokal essen, der Kellner war sehr nett und konnte toll englisch. Die Pizza war die beste, die wir jemals gegessen haben, aus diesem Grund sind wir auch beide Tage hingegangen und haben auch leider kein anderes Gericht außer Dessert probiert.

01/08/2025: I ended up there by chance, I had a visit to the Grassi I got hungry and I stopped, entering I saw a nice bar but being hungry I only saw pastry shop so I asked if they had anything else and I swear I was amazed when her husband called and made us two sandwiches on the spot... What can I say, excellent, fresh but above all delicious, sandwich with chicken in their way and very sweet peppers. I highly recommend it

03/09/2025: Dinner for 4 on Saturday, August 23rd. I come to this wonderful place as soon as I can. Margherita and her sisters is my choice, my place. I've been going here for years; it used to be a renowned restaurant. The pizzas are unbeatable, the only ones that don't leave me feeling bloated the next day. The high quality of the food offered isn't the only reason Margherita remains my favorite place. The owner, Barbara, is fantastic, very attentive to everything, and remembers all her loyal customers. The location is well-kept, the atmosphere intimate. Outdoors in the summer is great because you'll get good food, cool air, and no mosquitoes... yes, they've even thought about keeping those pesky insects away naturally. The well-kept garden, the lights, and the view are wonderful. In winter, you'll still find a warm atmosphere. The interior is also well-maintained and decorated in a very personal, unpretentious way. I read that some customers complain about prices that aren't in line with other pizzerias, but Margherita and her sisters are reductive in calling it a pizzeria; it's much more. It's choosing to eat a quality pizza, hard to compare to other pizzas, in a unique location. In an intimate atmosphere with a view of the city, You're welcomed by friendly staff, always available to answer any questions. Try the steamed pizzas. The desserts are also delicious. I had the Coppa d'Oro, chocolate meringues and black cherries, served in a large square glass bowl. Excellent! Thanks, Barbara, thank you, staff. We were a 10, as always.

10/06/2025: Excellent food in a standard menu and daily specials indicated from time to time. Kind and friendly staff. Noisy environment and tables very close together in the cold season. Things improve when the outdoor space is used, facing the street. I

20/08/2025: The pizza is good and similar to classic Neapolitan pizza. Prices are quite high compared to average (a Margherita is €8.50, but others start at €12 and up) considering the rather basic location and service.

17/08/2025: Exceptional pizza. Our choice: Monte Rosso pizza and Petrilli Antica pizza. Excellent dough (we chose the authentic one). The panelle appetizer was also excellent. Average pizzas range from €8.50 to €14. More than reasonable prices considering the quality of the pizza and all the ingredients.

I have been frequenting several other places in Mentelocale for years every day such as in Via Garibaldi and in Via Balbi and I have always had a great time. In this café you can have breakfast and also lunch with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The staff as always in all the other places in Mentelocale are welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and they only serve you at the table at lunch while for coffee, toasts and other drinks you order, pay and then collect your order and good prices!! 14/08/2025: This restaurant has been our go-to stop for many years now, the start of our long-awaited holidays! Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and a friendly owner. Both regulars and new guests mingle, and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel part of a community. Good food, a real place. You might even encounter baptisms, birthdays of centenarian grandmothers, or Sunday family reunions, but always without excessive noise and stressed waiters! You will always be welcome!
