14/06/2026: Excellent food, especially seafood, in a pleasant atmosphere with polite staff. The welcoming outdoor area is perfect for the summer season. Reasonably priced. I look forward to my next experience for the 4th star for service: a first course was served when the table (4 people) was still getting their appetizers, and a second course was missed, only to be served promptly after the other diners had finished.

25/04/2026: We met with Tuscan friends on April 25th, and the place immediately made a positive impression on me... And so it was: good and adequate appetizers (mixed fish, octopus, and potatoes, hot fish and vinegar appetizer), rich first courses (linguine with bottarga), wonderful second courses (fried fish and calamari); noteworthy: the house tiramisu and wild fennel liqueur (complimentary by the restaurant owner). We'll be back! I forgot about the wine: a Pigato, appropriately alcoholic and rich in fruity aromas.

18/04/2026: Everything was delicious! We had a fish appetizer, seafood risotto, and fried fish. Our son had a tender sea bream fillet, cooked to perfection and without a single bone! The staff were very friendly! Well done!

07/06/2026: I passed by Cascina Porro on my mountain bike; the refuge is located right at the end of the "Hiroshima mon amour" trail, a beautiful single track that starts from the Giustenice pass. The inn is gorgeous; I had a sandwich that was a real treat, with homemade bread, coppa, cheese, grilled vegetables, and homemade onion jam, washed down with a fantastic craft beer. The owners are kind and friendly; I took home a couple of jams (onion and pepper) and they let me try a slice of freshly baked crostata, which was also phenomenal. My only advice: offer slightly lighter beers. At the end of Hellboy (the next trail), I crawled into a bramble bush. I don't know if the 8.5° beer had anything to do with it...

19/04/2026: Wonderful experience. The place was intimate, well-decorated, and pleasantly quiet. The owner welcomed us warmly, immediately making us feel at ease. We were with our Labrador and, as requested, were seated at a table where she wouldn't get in the way of the waiter. The service was impeccable, and we truly felt pampered. My husband and I shared: - brandacujun served on seared squid and a rice wafer with Taggiasca olive pâté - grilled octopus tentacle with basil potato cream - pesto trofie with green beans and potatoes - milk cod, au gratin with cheese and served with creamy potatoes - Ligurian-style rabbit with grilled vegetables and panissa chips - Glass of white wine, water, can of Coke. We were offered an amuse bouche of fried panissa sticks, and we asked for more rosemary focaccia from the basket with various types of bread, focaccia, and breadsticks. We spent €110, and it was worth it, because this dinner left a wonderful memory, both on our palate because everything was cooked with dedication, and in our hearts because of the attention we received. We will definitely visit you again.

08/04/2026: The pizzas, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Since the pizzeria is located on a hilltop, there was a fantastic view all the way to the sea. Free parking was available right next to the restaurant... we'd gladly return.

The owners' gracious warmth and infectious friendliness welcomed us and stayed with us throughout the meal. The quality of the products: excellent! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. 05/04/2026: I've been a customer of this restaurant for about 30 years. I started frequenting it almost by accident. At the time, the great Lucetto was still at the helm of this superlative "sailing ship," which, with its specialties, crossed the finest seas of taste. The helm was inherited by his son Marco, who, with his wonderful wife Roberta, has taken over and further improved, if ever there was any need, the restaurant's kitchen and cellar. I booked a table for my family on Easter Sunday and I must say I had a divine lunch. Stunning appetizers, delicate crudités, deboned red mullet on a bed of provola cheese that would make even the best Michelin-starred chefs jealous, Catalan-style lobster on a delicious pea cream, and what can I say about the first courses?! Truly superb tagliolini with calamari and shrimp, and then buttons stuffed with scallops and octopus ragù. To finish, Ligurian-style baked fish and a delicious jute meringue with Chantilly cream and lime and chocolate cream. What can I say: I've never had such a good time, believe me, it's the pure truth!!! My applause goes not only to the fantastic couple, full of professionalism and empathy, but also to the waiter, Matteo, the chef Gean, and the assistant Ali', who expertly and with extreme professionalism, transformed this delicious and succulent lunch into a combination of kindness, empathy, and flavor. Thank you Roberta and thank you Marco. ♥️

27/05/2026: Locanda Tortuga in Genova is a true hidden gem! 🇮🇹✨ While searching for Colombo’s house, the incredible aroma from this spot stopped us in our tracks. We returned for lunch and were welcomed with warm, lively energy from the staff. The traditional focaccia al formaggio was a real treasure, and the fresh pasta was packed with amazing flavor. We also enjoyed refreshing cocktails while sitting outside in a cozy Italian corner full of charm. Fresh ingredients, great vibes, and attentive service make this a memorable culinary stop in Genova. 🌟
