31/12/2025: Very nice and romantic place, unpleasant service, very rude staff, we asked for two aperitifs, they only served us drinks, subsequently at my request we were brought (always rudely) some appetizers that were nothing short of awful, savory tart produced in 2020, which I then kindly offered to some needy pigeons, also the price was out of the ordinary to say the least, a lemon estathe with two rotten savory snacks, cost 5 euros, never again.

04/11/2025: This beachfront venue features a wealth of flowering plants that add a touch of class. A bit pricey, but it's quality.

08/04/2026: Not recommended. We ordered three portions of mixed fried food to go, very greasy and with soggy breading. We complained and were told that some of it was fried first and some later, and that was because we ordered it to go. Kudos to you for your customer service! And if you knew that, you should have charged less! Instead of charging 40 euros as if we'd eaten it there. And then... I doubt it would have been any different if we'd sat down.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch. Booked for two families, 8 people. I immediately made it clear that we had a medium-sized dog with us, and they kindly told me it was welcome! This isn't a given! Due to heavy traffic, we arrived 30 minutes late. They welcomed us kindly, and didn't make us feel bad about the long delay. Despite reading the negative reviews, we wanted to try this restaurant anyway. I'd read about rude staff and poor food. We can see that reviews aren't always true. The staff was kind and very helpful. The food was high quality, very well cooked, and very generous. We each had two fish dishes, from appetizer to main course. Everything was excellent!!!! Congratulations! We'll be back in the summer. Thank you!!!

28/12/2025: Well located for an overnight stay. The rooms are very rustic and poorly insulated, and with faulty heating, it's a bit tough on a winter night. The service is lovely. It's a bit pricey for what you get.

19/11/2025: short walk from train station. hint, walk left around station outside for crosswalks and stay on left side of street. secure entrance with reception. motion lights in hallway turns off too quickly which makes inserting room key challenging. older building with some modern renovations. in room fridge and kettle. free wifi. this was our precruise hotel. looks like short walk to terminal.

You can sense their passion and care for their customers in every gesture. ​If you're in Cogoleto, OroNero is a must-see. Trust us, it's worth a try!

16/10/2025: Despite the language barrier, the service is friendly and helpful, and the food is of good quality. We visited twice during our two days in Cogoleto.

30/04/2026: Very popular place, standard service, and friendly staff. Too bad I asked for a Campari Spritz, but they kept the empty Campari bottle and sold me something similar. Not everyone is considered a fool.

27/04/2026: Does not meet expectations, dated structure, very noisy dated rooms, bathroom with a broken folding door, room with uncomfortable pillows and mattress, dirty blanket in the closet, the cleanliness of the rooms is very poor, spa with cold water not to be called a spa, structure very close to the sea convenient for visiting Alassio but you can find better

11/03/2026: The place is well-maintained, nothing to complain about, but we ate lunch in the cold. The food was good, but the portions were small for the price.

28/02/2026: Refined cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and Dedo is superb at providing musical entertainment. Dining at the Antica Trattoria dei Pescatori is an experience worth having and highly recommended.

13/09/2025: I had a terrible plate of spaghetti with clams. We didn't enjoy the whole meal at all, and it was expensive. Our experience was completely negative.

17/04/2026: We've been coming here for years for focaccia, always delicious. Unfortunately, since the previous owner left and opened in another city in Liguria, this business has lost all its value. The focaccia is absolutely not what it used to be; the quality has diminished, and it's settling in our stomachs like a brick. Furthermore, the staff behind the counter is not at all as friendly as the old ones: monosyllabic answers, no smiles, and zero desire to help. Plus, they wait before closing time. We've stopped by several times to get focaccia, but it's always been disappointing, so after a certain point, we haven't been back.

23/02/2026: Everything was perfect, everything was very traditional, the spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the welcome was wonderful. I felt right at home. I recommend it!!!

05/05/2026: Fantastic location, service and conversation. And the pizza was excellent. Of the four places we had pizza, this was by for the most flavorful crust and generous with toppings. The pizza was crisp and did not get wet in the middle. Light and golden brown around the edges. Ate different combinations here every day, and this was a great value.

16/09/2025: End-of-season treat. Yesterday, the last day of the establishment's opening, and this morning I realized I had a token left over for the paid hot showers. I asked the staff busy cleaning and tidying up the bar if it was possible to return it. The answer was yes, but we don't have €1.50 to give you in return. They were obviously in a foul mood, as Ligurians are always true.

31/08/2025: Amazing food! The seared tuna, spaghetti with clams, and mixed fried fish were delicious. Spectacular view of Bergeggi Island. Fast and friendly service. Fair price!

16/09/2025: Unfortunately not open during the stated opening hours, the way from the train station was in vain
