29/04/2026: I wonder how you guys manage to get a decent number of good reviews. I went for lunch with two other people. All three dishes arrived cold, but the worst thing was the rudeness of the staff. The red-haired lady was particularly unpleasant and clearly didn't want to. It's a self-service restaurant, so I expect to carry the dishes to the table myself. Unfortunately, the trays were empty, and a man coming out of the kitchen asked his red-haired colleague to help us carry these dishes. She began by saying, "They can take care of themselves," in an annoyed tone. How come you did that? It was a simple courtesy requested by her colleague, after all. Working in restaurants isn't for you if you don't pay attention to the customers, even when (as in this case) it's not due. The girl at the cash register was embarrassed for her, and it showed. So much so that she served us the dishes... I'll add: I don't understand why in 2026 they don't accept separate bills. I'll add again: we tried asking for a piece of focaccia. The classic Ligurian focaccia that I think we all know as a typical dish. The same lady replied with wide eyes, as if I'd asked for something alien, that they didn't know what it was. But was everything okay? Overall, we enjoyed a lunch with a beautiful view, but I wouldn't return given the high price (considering the quantity/quality of the food, and the fact that it's self-service) and the lack of politeness.

07/04/2026: We dined here on December 30, 2025, and had a wonderful time, deserving of a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, on Sunday evening, April 5, 2026, the experience was very different. (I still want to give the benefit of the doubt, considering it was Easter and the staff might have already been exhausted by the lunch service. This may be a small excuse, but the fact remains that, as a customer, the bill is paid the same, and service should always be impeccable regardless of the circumstances.) However, what happened was truly unpleasant. I ordered tagliolini with tuna carbonara, and in addition to the expected ingredients, the dish contained numerous shrimp scraps. A decidedly unpleasant and unexpected situation, which completely ruined the dinner. When I reported this to the wait staff, they told me that other types of fish are also cooked in the same kettle. Frankly, I don't think this is an adequate excuse, nor is it acceptable from the standpoint of care and attention to the customer. Due to what happened, I didn't finish my dish and decided not to order anything else. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, as the previous experience had been very positive. For this reason, it's even more disappointing to have to report such a problem.

10/11/2025: A typical osteria serving fantastic traditional borlenghi, fried crescentine, and fabulous tigelle. The atmosphere is warm and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

16/04/2026: I've been going to Ristoro Cucina & Bar every day for about a month, for breakfast and lunch. The food is good and the value is excellent. The girls who work there are extremely helpful, cheerful, and very professional—they make the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and tasty place for lunch.

09/04/2026: I happened upon this trattoria for lunch and found it to be a relaxed, family-friendly place. The owner is very friendly, and the food is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

21/03/2026: Found by chance, but loved for several reasons. Today, during our lunch break, we went to Trattoria Lombarda. Since we were three plus-sized people (one of whom was pregnant in her ninth month), we were seated at a suitable table. The waitress was quick, clear, and cheerful throughout the service. We ordered: 2 pizzoccheri, 2 ravioli with ossobuco ragù, 1 stew, 1 Lombard-style ossobuco, 2 mixed fried chicken platters, 2 side dishes, 4 desserts, and 4 coffees, unlimited water, and a soft drink. Everything was delicious, and the dishes were generous, well-seasoned without being overbearing. I love ossobuco and have never tasted it so good in Genoa, so for that alone, it's worth a try! I mopped up the meat and will definitely be back if I ever feel like eating more. Total cost: €85.50 with promotion (€21.37 per person); €155.50 without (€38.87 per person). We've seen that they often offer set menus. You can pay with Satispay. The price was more than fair for what we ate: good and plentiful.

21/09/2025: Good afternoon...we are in Fascia, a small town in the province of Genoa...here we are within the Antola Regional Park...and if we want to tell you the whole truth, this is the most evocative park in Liguria. As I will have the opportunity to tell you, we are in the heart of the Trebbia Valley...and this is one of those towns that are a holiday destination for many families from Genoa. It is precisely in this small village that we managed to find this beautiful Agriturismo... which here, fortunately for us, is open every day but by reservation. It is the Azienda Agricola Spallarossa Silvia... which is located in Cassingheno, which is almost at the end of this wonderful village. In a quiet and green area... with a great view of the surrounding valleys. Here you can eat excellent first courses with pasta... homemade ravioli and lasagna with pesto... excellent second courses of farmed and good vegetables and all the desserts are made in the family... everything is accompanied by excellent wines... what else to add if you still didn't know anything about this beautiful agriturismo well... I wholeheartedly recommend it... try it, you will be surprised!

02/05/2026: The atmosphere isn't fancy...but it's full of substance. The pasta dishes are generous and flavorful, with a delicate, homemade flavor. The fried food is delicious. Highly recommended.

24/04/2026: Solid Italian cuisine prepared with love. While the dishes aren't presented in an elaborate way, they are very tasty and down-to-earth. The service was very friendly and the value for money is excellent. The ambiance is rather simple. I particularly enjoyed the fish ravioli and the mixed antipasti.

03/05/2026: ABSOLUTELY AVOID! The owner handles food, the cash register, and money without washing his hands or wearing gloves 🤬 He doesn't put food back in the fridge between orders. The waitress is very unfriendly; she drops bread on the floor and puts it back on the cardboard plate... etc. The health department would be wise to conduct some inspections...

22/09/2025: We received a warm welcome. They immediately helped me secure my bike downstairs. Good first impression. I ordered poke with salmon, tuna, and feta. I received a plate of dry rice (not sushi rice) without salmon, tuna, or feta. When I asked why, I was given a strange explanation. Very disappointing. In the end, I had to lug my own bike upstairs; the courtesy was gone...

21/09/2025: A measly one-star restaurant, with a menu displayed on the waterfront.... We booked a dinner menu, but had to order pizza! The kitchen was "sold out," with no food!!! They should have just let us know when we booked. Disrespectful!!!

23/11/2025: A lovely little restaurant where my husband, a friend, and I come regularly every month. The food is excellent, and the owners, both husband and wife, are delightful, as are the waitresses. We always receive a warm welcome and are happy to return.

16/04/2026: Very nice place. That's about it. Service is very slow. There's a lot of pasta, but it's the cheapest kind, and the sauces are also clearly cheaply made. They're just trying to feed lots of tourists on the cheap. Better to go further inland to restaurants with homemade food. Even the two other restaurants nearby are significantly better. Update from yesterday: if someone doesn't want to eat, they put an empty plate next to them and demand the cover charge. I've never experienced such rudeness. I won't be trying again!

10/03/2026: Small, fine restaurant; communication as a German without Italian language skills was no problem thanks to the very friendly staff; the food (3 courses with coffee) was inexpensive, very tasty, large portions, and the dessert was incredibly delicious; authentic cuisine – simply a wonderful restaurant in a beautiful place.

14/03/2026: The food at Teresa's is truly excellent. We had a reunion with friends and the menu was all fish. Everything was excellent; the place isn't very large, but it's typical of Genoese cuisine. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are average. I highly recommend it.

28/02/2026: We've been to Teresa's several times, and it's always been delicious and affordable. The atmosphere is truly Italian, with no English menus or unnecessary frills. I especially recommend the seafood pasta and the lobster pasta.

18/04/2026: Drawn by the many positive reviews on TheFork, we decided to make a reservation to celebrate a graduation at the end of February. The owner, calling shortly after the reservation, kindly and courteously told us about the "private room" reserved for us. We arrived fifteen minutes early (our reservation was for 7:30 PM), and were greeted at the door by a lady who invited us to return later, as neither the chef nor the owner were there yet (it would be interesting to know when, and if, they were cooking). Upon our return, the owner himself showed us into the wonderful "private room": a space under the stairs that had been reclaimed from brooms, probably unusable, with exposed brickwork and rusty grappling hooks (so much for HACCP...), which could easily injure an inattentive diner. I won't comment too much on the food, since when we ordered, we discovered that several dishes on the menu weren't even available, either because, according to the owner, "they took two hours to prepare," or the ingredients hadn't been delivered that day (which is still excusable). After settling for a fish starter and finding a dish whose flavor was completely masked by lemon and drowned in oil, we decided to give up, skipping any main courses and desserts. As we left, the very kind owner, I imagine almost ashamed, presented us with a bill worthy of a completely different establishment. We kindly urge him to review the restaurant's standards, or at least adjust his prices to his capabilities. We strongly advise against it. Furthermore, the owner's dishonesty was further demonstrated, as our reservation was listed as cancelled on TheFork, even though we had paid a considerable sum and ended up eating almost nothing.

12/04/2026: We had a great dinner; we loved everything. It's a small place, so I recommend making a reservation. Otherwise, everything was excellent. The service was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It's a very local spot, as there are hardly any foreigners, but they treated us wonderfully, and the food was spectacular. The menu is short, but the exquisite quality more than makes up for it. A beautiful and delicious place; I hope to return.
