30/05/2025: Very good and frendly Service. Food was exzellent and the House Wine is the best which I ever Drink. And as well the view is brilliant.

30/05/2025: Als je een mooie plek zoekt met een redelijk diner dan zou dat hier kunnen. We hebben daar gegeten , was niks mis mee maar aan de bediening schort nog wel wat …zo stond onze gekoelde witte wijn een kwartier in de zon te wachten( dat had al een teken kunnen zijn, onze wijn was niet het enige koele drankje dat de weg naar de tafel niet vinden kon) Op het eten hoefden we niet lang te wachten maar toen we uitgegeten waren hebben we bijna 3 kwartier zitten wachten, de seintjes kwamen niet aan en ook de mensen aan de tafeltjes naast ons keken wat er aan de hand was…. Erg jammer op deze manier geen dessert en koffie. Uiteindelijk zelf maar naar binnen gelopen en afgerekend bij een zeer onvriendelijke en onprofessionele kassa meneer … Eens maar nooit meer , voor het eerst in alle jaren Italië snap ik dat mensen zeggen dat ze niet vriendelijk zijn. Gelukkig zijn er in Chiavari veel betere leukere en gezellige restaurants waar je wel een fijne avond uit eten kan… dit is onze eerste hele slechte ervaring en die deel ik dan ook….

06/06/2025: Das Tumelin gehört mit dem Gattabriga und dem La Loggia zu den 3 besten Restaurants in Levanto! Der frisch zubereite Doradenfisch ist einfach nur herrlich und vergeht auf der Zunge. Auch die Vor - & Nachspeisen sind einfach nur zauberhaft. Die Weinauswahl ist erstklassig. Der langjährige und megafreundliche Oberkellner ist super professionell und megafreundlich und sucht vergebens seinesgleichen in Levanto. Das Tumelin ladet zum verweilen ein!

30/09/2025: We weren't given a very friendly welcome; the host was clearly not happy with our table selection. The restaurant wasn't fully booked the entire evening.

28/09/2025: 🚫❗️ Worst experience ever! ❗️🚫 From the moment we sat down, we felt completely unwelcome. The menu was thrown on the table without any greeting or eye contact. The atmosphere among the staff was grim 😒 – irritated faces, reluctantly clearing plates, and then pointing and talking about the guests in the back. ⏱️ We waited 15-20 minutes after receiving the menu, but no one came to take our order. Meanwhile, we were ignored, and the waiters walked past several times without looking. To make matters worse, they even bumped into my wife's head twice 🤦‍♂️ without an apology. After such disinterest, we left immediately. Afterwards, I saw that previous guests had had the exact same experience – so this is clearly a recurring theme. ❌ Absolutely not recommended ❌

30/08/2025: The service is excellent, especially when they slam the bowl on the table and say the sausage is ready and put it in your mouth. An experience to repeat. The hygiene is excellent. The other day I received a kebab with rotten rat meat and for dessert, homemade yogurt sauce with the wife's classic gionata from Lives on the Edge.

16/09/2025: Great pizza but we were charged 6 euro for 3 small packets of grissini (breadsticks), which we neither ordered nor touched.

19/08/2025: Unexpectedly, in a corner facing the beach, a pair of traditional chefs serve exquisite fresh seafood. The best are the mixed seafood antipasti and spaghetti alla marinara. They also offer seafood rice.

30/09/2025: Sweet atmosphere, great breeze and simple setup. The shrimp was the king.

21/09/2025: Extremely unfriendly. They take a long time to make pizza. They don't care what you think.

12/09/2025: A lovely restaurant with a fairly extensive selection of filling meals. The prices are completely reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommended.

31/08/2025: The service was really good. They accommodated for the fact that we were English speakers and could not speak Italian which I am very grateful for. We ordered the risotto frutti de mare, fried calamari and quattro formaggi pizza which were all cooked to perfection. The waitress recommended the calamari and pizza. They were happy to not include tomato in the food as we had allergies. But this did not hinder the quality in any way. I would definitely recommend this place for the food alone.

24/08/2025: I hate to leave a negative review, but on Friday night they really didn't get one. Out of four dishes ordered, a first course never arrived, and the side vegetables didn't arrive either. The waiters asked us for our table number and never gave us feedback on how long it would take for our dishes to arrive. The manager offered an €8 discount at the register, and obviously the dishes that didn't arrive weren't charged. Let's just say this dinner could have gone much better. It's true that it was busy because it's August 20th, but come on guys, at a certain point I saw myself on Cannavacciuolo's show.

02/09/2025: Excellent dishes, I recommend the mixed fried fish and spaghetti allo scoglio, the staff are kind and polite. I will definitely be back.

01/05/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante con alcuni amici durante il ponte del 25 aprile. Il locale è certamente molto carino e il cibo buono. Lo stesso non si può dire del personale, o meglio della signora che ci ha servito a tavola e che, al momento di ordinare il dolce, spazientita dal fatto che le avessi chiesto informazioni riguardo agli ingredienti presenti nel semifreddo, mi ha risposto: “è un semifreddo all’albicocca, cosa vuoi un disegnino?” (Testuali parole) Adesso, io sono anche una persona autoironica ma non ho voglia di farmi prendere per i fondelli da qualcuno che nemmeno conosco e a cui ho fatto una semplice domanda con educazione. È un vero peccato perché appunto il cibo è buono e tutto il resto del personale è stato molto gentile però di questa serata alla fine mi porto a casa solo l’infelice battuta della cameriera.

09/09/2025: "A customer for over twenty years, I've seen this place deteriorate for the worse. The family atmosphere of the past has been replaced by arrogant attitudes and unjustified jealousy on the part of the current manager's partner, making the experience truly unpleasant. Add to this the exorbitant prices and ridiculous portions (for example, the 'fried fish' with six small fish arranged in a cross shape). It's a shame, because a place I once loved has been completely ruined."
