Lovely family run bar. Very welcoming

A small but quaint seaside pub in Portovenere where you can enjoy excellent beer. Unfortunately, the service leaves a bit to be desired; when you need to order a certain type of alcohol, make sure you get it. At the bar, we ordered a barricade and a diplomatic rum. On the second round, despite having asked for the same, I was served a shabby Barceló, which, obviously, being a fairly knowledgeable rum drinker, I had no trouble recognizing. A simple oversight? I don't think so, since when it came time to pay, I was charged two Diplomaticos. Either they're used to foreigners, or they'd rather earn 5 euros and lose a customer. Never again!

Very simple pub, furnished with old furniture from various sources, but run by kind and helpful people.
