10/11/2024: I was on holiday at the sole residence ☀️ and I was pleasantly surprised by the place.....really beautiful ❤️.....the rooms are comfortable, clean and well-kept. The seaside visit is fantastic, the view is wonderful at all times 💞......and I was on holiday with my dog ​​🐶 also super respected and well-liked. He was always with me and had access to everywhere (no beach, no swimming pool) but there was the solarium where we could stay comfortably. And nearby there was Balto beach, a paradise for dogs and more. So I had a really good time. Very kind staff. Excellent organization. Thank you all for the wonderful holiday 😍..... super recommended

02/11/2024: The residence enjoys an extremely privileged view, facing Gallinara island. Spacious apartments equipped with everything you need. Reception staff friendly and helpful. A big shame was realizing the extreme degradation of the beach in front of the residence (we don't know if it's private under concession to the residence or municipal, but in any case pertaining to the structure) dirt of all types everywhere including tyres, plastic, iron... the sea could not be reached without having to walk on waste of all kinds. A lack of maintenance for months...not suitable for children as it is dangerous. We had to move towards Ceriale to be able to enjoy the beach. A real shame.

09/12/2024: L' ambiente, ricavato da un'antica tipografia, è arredato in stile minimalista, a mio parere con grande gusto: c'è una bella atmosfera! I camerieri erano preparatissimi e molto gentili. Si aprono le danze con quell'incredibile cestino di pane e grissini fatti a mano, che da soli meritano di fare un salto! Noi abbiamo preso vari antipasti di pesce, tutti davvero ottimi, proseguendo chi con primi, chi con secondi ben cucinati e con tocchi di originalità nel gusto, per niente scontati. Cito, fra tutto, una salsa che accompagna un sashimi, con sentori di mandorla davvero sorprendente. Purtroppo era rimasto poco spazio per i dolci, ma abbiamo provato il sorbetto al mirtillo con pepe del Madagascar ed è stato anche quello graditissimo. Sinceramente non riesco a spiegarmi le recensioni negative: per noi meritano dei gran complimenti. Il prezzo? Non è una trattoria e in cucina si fa ricerca... la qualità degli ingredienti e la sapiente lavorazione si pagano, come è giusto che sia!

06/12/2024: Incuriosito dalle recensioni scelgo di provarlo per una pausa pranzo insieme a mia moglie. Il locale più che sofisticato mi sembra freddo e spartano, non c'è neppure la tovaglia sul tavolo, scelta inaccettabile per un locale di questo livello. Piatti e posate dozzinali, l'acqua frizzante in una sorta di vaso in ceramica senza tappo a € 3,50 a bottiglia. Ordino degli gnocchi con il ragù di lingua, cacio e pepe: il gusto è buono ma sono annegati in un sugo troppo liquido e soprattutto scotti. Peccato. Provo a rifarmi col secondo, un piccione da 35 euro che di notevole ha solo il prezzo: probabilmente una cottura alla fiamma troppo aggressiva lo ha bruciato più del dovuto all'esterno e lasciato non sufficientemente caldo all'interno. Da rivedere. I fagioli all'uccelletto di contorno (6 euro) dolciastri e pieni di carota, non ci siamo. Mia moglie prende dello sgombro in carpione, buono, e del pesce bollito con verdure e salsa verde, niente di speciale. Il caffè portato al tavolo senza nemmeno un piccolo accompagnamento e con lo zucchero messo direttamente dal cameriere senza neanche lasciare la zuccheriera sul tavolo, mai visto. L'aspetto che mi è dispiaciuto di più è stato proprio il servizio al tavolo, freddo e svogliato, assolutamente inadeguato per un locale con queste ambizioni. La cucina a vista, infine, è un coup de theatre che bisogna potersi permettere... Non mi è venuta voglia di concludere con un dolce, anche perché l'unico sponsorizzato a tutti dal cameriere era una fetta di panettone, non una lista né un elenco a voce. Un euro di sconto (!) sul conto finale, no comment. Diciamo che senza una maggiore attenzione nei confronti del cliente e un pizzico di umiltà in più difficilmente si può ambire a raggiungere certi traguardi. C'è molto da fare, non tornerò.

25/10/2024: Passing through on the weekend, we stopped to get something hot. In the end I had the ice cream (few flavors but basic) and it was really good. Much better than some ice cream shops. And the prices are low.

24/08/2024: Carbonara and Milanese with potatoes are excellent, friendly staff and very low prices. The side dishes are always fresh, the cabbage salad is delicious

01/09/2024: Good morning everyone, by chance I went to eat last night with a friend and we were really happy with both the welcome and the pizza, while we were eating we saw some spectacular fish dishes!!! I will go back next time I come to Diano Marina. Nice thing happened the next day by coincidence I met the owner at the Sunday market, a nice person. Angelo... see you next time!!! Andrew.

22/08/2024: Last night I enjoyed a steak that was nothing short of epic, cooked and served masterfully, it was truly a pleasure.

29/08/2024: Unfortunately we ended up there today by chance and, in addition to the certainty of never returning, I strongly advise against it. Old and neglected establishment bordering on dilapidated (80s style and with the last works probably carried out in the same era), showers practically unusable if you care about your health, despite the service being paid for. We had lunch in the internal restaurant and despite the low turnout (there were 10 of us in the whole bar/restaurant) it took us an hour to eat a sandwich and a dish mistakenly passed off as fish and chips (not entirely edible and especially absolutely unappetizing ). We asked for lemon for the beer which obviously never arrived and 15 minutes after requesting the coffee we went to get it at the counter, where we understood that customer attention is lacking because everyone is too busy talking to each other or staying at the cell phone during service. Glasses and cutlery unusable (despite the cover charge being an additional cost) and, given the cleanliness, I preferred to avoid using them. The external shower did not work well and had a timer of 5 seconds flat. The spartan place on the beach is fine but a coat of white every now and then wouldn't be a bad idea. Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars but they would be deserved. Price absolutely not in accordance with the quality and service given, both as regards the establishment and as regards the food. As the icing on the cake, what I think was the owner made some unpleasant comments to the poor waitress, probably she doesn't mind (even if they weren't directed at us, they still bothered me) or she's simply used to it but I think it's something very unpleasant and very rude.

27/08/2024: Although a little dated, the place looks good, very quiet during the day but the girl at the bar is sometimes a little cold towards the customer, in the evening the pizzeria is excellent, the pizzas are delicious and at a fair price, the staff are very kind even though on a couple of occasions we had to wait a while even if we had previously booked to get takeaway pizzas. In any case, all negligible, I would happily return

07/05/2024: It has always been number 1 (for me) but since it changed management I haven't gone there anymore. When the food runs out they are not replaced and after half an hour from opening the choice is limited, they no longer take cc meal tickets. I'm really sorry, my wife and I went to them very often.

05/01/2025: Trattoria with a family atmosphere, excellent quality/price compromise. The pizzas are also excellent. Informal 80s atmosphere. The fresh fish is exceptional. Definitely recommended as an informal pizzeria restaurant. For lunch also fixed price menu at 15 euros during the week.

05/11/2024: Menù degustazione a 35 €. Tutti i piatti davvero buonissimi e presentati davvero molto molto bene. Il locale è davvero molto bello e caratteristico e il personale è davvero squisito. Sono stati tutti davvero molto gentili, cordiali e simpatici con noi. Aggiungo ulteriore apprezzamento sui dolci che erano davvero divini!
