23/06/2026: I've been to this place several times for an after-dinner drink with friends or a girlfriend (also because there's not much else to do in Loano), and the rudeness of the lady (perhaps the owner?) at the register is unparalleled. There were four of us and we didn't even want to take a table, just have a drink at the bar. We ordered a Calvados, a gin and tonic, and a grappa, and looking at us with a knowing smile, she said, "Yeah, kids, order something else tonight..." Besides, we're all 34 and 35, and you don't get to decide what we drink if I'm the one paying. We didn't order anything, and we'll never come again. Furthermore, the previous times we've always been treated with favoritism (meaning that if someone she knew came in, they'd go before us), arrogance, and incredibly rudeness, not looking you in the face, sometimes not accepting electronic payments, and always without a receipt. The day a valid alternative opens nearby, you can pull down the shutters. There are many ways to turn away customers, and you're certainly a bad cover for Ligurian merchants.

29/11/2025: This is the second time my family and I have visited this wonderful restaurant. Today my kids had pizza, while my husband and I had the fish menu. I can only confirm my first experience: a truly charming place, excellent food, and friendly, impeccable staff. Not to mention the owner, who is the real highlight. Highly recommended for the excellent food and very fair prices.

14/06/2026: Discovered a few years ago during a weekend in Pietra Ligure, following the reviews while searching for a good Ligurian focaccia to enjoy on the beach, I found what has become, for me, the BEST Ligurian focaccia ever. Since then, it's been a regular stop on every vacation to Pietra Ligure. They're so good that, on the day of departure, I always bring some home... just to postpone the goodbye until next year. My favorite? Focaccia with crescenza cheese, simply irresistible. But the truth is, they're all amazing. Also noteworthy are the bread and countless cakes, each one better than the last, made with special flours and top-quality ingredients. Compliments to Simona and all the staff: courtesy and kindness are the hallmarks here, just like the best Ligurian tradition.

14/07/2026: A very delicious restaurant. They have a large selection of pizzas, but also other classic dishes. If you want a traditional pizza, this is the place to go.

04/08/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. Beyond the fact that none of the dishes convinced us, what left us most perplexed was the handling of a clear mistake. We ordered ravioli del plin with red mullet and basil, but a dish arrived with cherry tomatoes, mussels, and clams—ingredients that weren't even listed on the menu. When we pointed this out, a waiter replied, "That's the recipe even if it's not written." Only after discussing it with a third waiter, who admitted he'd never seen the dish prepared that way, was the dish taken back to the kitchen for remaking. The "remaking" consisted of changing the dish and removing some of the mussels and clams, while still leaving some on the plate. When it came time to get the bill, we brought the situation up again, and the cashier's response was, "Hey, that's the recipe even if it's not written. Why are you allergic?" Terrible management, and terrible food, too.

04/08/2026: I returned after years and it seemed to have deteriorated significantly. The staff were friendly, but the service was incredibly slow despite there being almost no one there. The outside atmosphere was rather shabby. The menu was stuck in the '80s, with questionable quality ingredients. It's a shame because it has enormous potential; with the right investments and renovations, prices could triple in a location like this.

02/06/2026: We visited this pizzeria last Sunday with a group of 40 people. We had booked for late in the evening, but due to our team's early elimination from the volleyball tournament, we arrived very early. The owner was exceptional: he went out of his way to find us a table right away, despite the lack of advance notice and the large number of people. The ladies who served us were extremely kind and efficient. The pizza? Truly delicious. Highly recommended, both for the food and the incredible hospitality!

24/02/2026: We stopped with a group of friends on our bikes for a snack arranged with the owner. Everything was very good and high-quality!

07/02/2026: We had lunch at Mamma Chica and had a really good time. The home-cooked food and the owners' kindness and hospitality made us feel at home, as if we were among friends. The vegetarian and vegan menu was a special mention; everything was delicious. I was disappointed not to be able to try other dishes I'd been tempted to try, but I was really full. I hope to return soon...

07/08/2026: Simple and good food, served quickly. It's difficult to make yourself understood if you don't speak Italian, but the waiter was very helpful. Suitable for children.

13/08/2026: The food was okay, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to compensate for the truly appalling service. The staff were completely unfriendly, bordering on rude. We also noticed that the cloth napkins and bread seemed to be reused, which is rather concerning in terms of hygiene. Another very unpleasant point: plates were cleared before everyone had finished, clearly giving the impression that everyone had to eat quickly and move on. Not exactly the kind of experience you expect when you go to a restaurant. Finally, the dining room was in complete disarray, which further reinforced this overall impression of neglect. In short, a very disappointing experience. The food was okay, nothing special, but the service and atmosphere completely ruined our meal. We won't be back.

12/08/2026: The place is really old and could use a bit of a refresh. The staff is friendly. The food is average.

04/01/2026: Honestly... good pizza, very good dough, very fair price, okay it's busy and a bit of a factory, which excuses the waitresses not necessarily being cheerful but they are efficient and helpful, in this case it was very generous and she made me a container to take the risotto with me... so I recommend it if you have to have lunch in the area without any unpleasant surprises.

14/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome. The location is pleasant, facing the beaches and right by the road. The pizzas were excellent, but the veal Milanese could be improved. The desserts were very good, and the bill was very reasonable.

31/07/2026: Very disappointed… We arrived at 8:15 pm and ordered around 8:30 pm. Initially, everything went smoothly: we were served promptly and our drinks arrived without any issues. However, the wait for our food was far too long. We had time to finish our drinks, then the bread that was brought to us without us even asking for it, and despite this, still no food. Meanwhile, a table that arrived more than 20 minutes after us was served before us. It was only after we complained about the wait that our food magically arrived less than five minutes later. No one on staff apologized for the delay. When it came time to pay, the owner asked us if everything was alright. When we explained that it wasn't, he simply left, sending someone else to take our payment, who, incidentally, didn't even have any change. I then approached him a second time. His response was to tell us that it was “a restaurant, not a bar,” and that the wait was therefore normal. When I explained that we were simply expecting a minimal apology, he offered a very insincere apology before repeating the same argument. It's a real shame, because the food is decent, without being exceptional. However, the lack of professionalism and the complete absence of consideration for customers completely ruin the experience.

31/07/2026: We arrived at 8:15 PM and ordered at 8:30 PM. So far, so good. We were served quickly. We watched the time pass, our drinks arrived, and we finished them. We were given bread that we hadn't asked for, and we had time to finish it. Still, no food arrived. At one table, the wait was excessively long. A table that arrived more than 20 minutes after us was served before us. Once, after we asked for our food, it magically arrived less than five minutes later. No one apologized to us. Very unprofessional. When the owner asked if everything was alright and we said no, he simply left and sent someone to take our payment. This person didn't even have change, by the way. When I confronted him again, he told me it was a restaurant, not a bar, and that the wait was normal. When I told him we just wanted an apology, he apologized half-heartedly and repeated his lame excuse. It's a real shame, considering the food was okay, but it wasn't anything to write home about.

12/06/2026: We have been coming here since 2016. Every time we are in the area, we come to eat. Everything here is fresh and tastes delicious. I have been a fan of the pizza frutti de mar for years. My husband discovered the risotto frutti de mar. The fresh or grilled fish is also always a nice touch. Even though prices have risen considerably in recent years, it is still cheaper than back home. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. We choose the street side, even though the garden is also a pleasant spot in good weather.

02/06/2026: We stopped by chance, and the welcome, even though we hadn't booked, was exemplary (something that's now obsolete). The Margherita pizza was truly delicious (in its simplicity), the crust very unique and crispy. The mixed grilled fish was unexpectedly rich and delicious, at a fair price. Although it may seem like a "tourist trap," we truly enjoyed our stay in the warmth of a traditional and down-to-earth establishment. Restaurant, quiet, just what you need at the right time. Congratulations!
