20/05/2026: We discovered this place while wandering around the village of Triora, and it really made a great impression. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, everything is very clean and well-kept, with friendly and helpful staff who immediately make you feel at ease. The menu isn't very extensive, but precisely because of this, every dish seems prepared with care and quality. We particularly enjoyed the excellent first courses and the desserts, which rounded off the meal perfectly. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. A genuine place we'd gladly return to.

06/07/2026: I had dinner at Osteria La Carabaccia and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and are rich in flavor: you can sense the attention to both the cuisine and tradition. The service was impeccable! The host was super helpful and attentive. Excellent value for money. If you're looking for a place to eat well in La Spezia, away from the typical touristy restaurants, this osteria is definitely worth a visit. I would definitely go back!

20/06/2026: Nothing remains of the "Osteria." Now it's a truly excellent restaurant with reasonable prices, but that's only right given the quality of the food. The service could be improved; both the owner and the waiters were a bit cold. Worth a try, it's worth it, but the price is noticeable. Try the fabulous... lean capone.

05/05/2026: Delicious food! We had the pasta with clams and the pasta with walnut sauce. Both were super good!! At the end we tried the red berries cheesecake that was also superb! The staff were really friendly. They’ve offered us coffee and limoncello at the end. Definitely recommend it!

No menu, changing dishes every evening, family business, welcoming atmosphere, hidden spot in a beautiful little village in the mountain, always busy, very fair price if not even too low for what you get. The atmosphere was one of the highlights of the evening — warm, lively, and cozy without feeling crowded. It has that authentic Genovese charm that makes you want to stay for hours enjoying good food and wine with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal, always happy to offer recommendations and make sure everything was going well without being intrusive. The food was excellent from start to finish, especially the seafood dishes, which tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared. The wine selection also deserves special mention, with plenty of great options that paired perfectly with the meal. The only downside during the evening was the noticeable number of fruit flies around the table, which became a bit distracting at times while eating. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it was definitely something we noticed throughout dinner. Hopefully it’s an issue the restaurant can improve, because aside from that small inconvenience, everything else was fantastic. Overall, I’d still happily recommend La Cantina Clandestina to anyone looking for excellent seafood, and a welcoming atmosphere in Genova.
