04/01/2026: Beautiful evening! Stunning location in the magical setting of Bolsena Castle, friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent wine and delicious food. Andrea and Sofia are wonderful, friendly and fun, very passionate about their work and make you feel right at home. A very pleasant surprise for us, we will definitely be back!!! Marta and Andrea

07/01/2026: I ended up here by chance, seeking shelter from the cold and rain during a bike ride. Located just a few meters from the castle, among the narrow streets of the highest and perhaps most picturesque part of Bolsena. The place is small but very welcoming. Perhaps it was the "luck" of being alone, partly due to the inclement weather, but I felt right at home. The kitchen is open to the public, which I consider a very positive thing. I had an excellent tuna appetizer and a delicious amatriciana. The food was simple but well-prepared (if it were heavy fare, I wouldn't have been able to make an appetizer, first course, and second course). The owner is very friendly and, I'd almost say, whimsical. All the more reason to return if I have the chance.

29/01/2026: Only had some Pizza, so I do not know about the steak. But the staff was very unwelcoming, and I felt i felt like all she wanted to do was get us out. The door. Very unpleasant person. 🛑

20/01/2026: Booked directly through Google, 3 confirmation emails, we arrived and were told they didn't check those reservations and kicked us out because they didn't have a table for two available. Truly rude and impolite!! First and last time!! I wanted to tell the owner that Google doesn't force anyone to keep a service active and it can easily be deactivated. Don't take reservations into account, but read the reviews right away!! Anyway, we went to the nearby Oasi pizzeria. It was fully booked, but they found us a place to stay. The staff was excellent, as were the pizzas!

13/02/2026: The first courses and desserts were fantastic, the seafood carbonara was delicious, very tasty, and also the trofie with lake whitefish and courgettes. The desserts were excellent, the tiramisu and the dessert were as it should be. We will be back very soon, thank you for everything.

23/08/2025: I knew I could get delicious gelato in Italy. But Lolla Gelato is on another level! They truly celebrate the art of gelato making. Every flavor I tried was outstanding. Not overly sweet, not artificial, not watered down. Instead, a symphony of natural and, above all, local flavors, like blackberry, fig, or peach. For me, one of the best gelato shops in the world! Excellent, keep it up!

03/01/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant on January 1st. I found the staff very kind and, above all, I ate really well with some very good dishes. Located at the foot of the lake, it's definitely a place worth trying.

02/01/2026: Spacious and clean room. Large and spacious bathroom. Decent breakfast with plenty of sweet options, but not much savory. Fridge noisy all night. Shower head unusable.

18/12/2025: Clean, warm, and welcoming rooms. Poorly organized breakfast... a group of 80 people lined up for the breakfast buffet... placed on a long table... if I just want a coffee, I have to wait in line... Unpretentious food... only one choice... I ate meat for a first and second course two nights in a row... and on the last day, more meat for lunch... I expected to eat at least some lake fish or something else...

28/12/2025: A truly sublime experience! The view from the street piqued our interest: the place has a vaulted ceiling, is well-kept, with warm lighting and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly, polite, and helpful, and despite the place being packed, the service was very fast. The pizzas are unique and delicious! The dough is soft and easy to digest, but the real highlight... the table next to the fireplace! An experience we'll definitely repeat, highly recommended!

27/12/2025: We dined at this restaurant with a table reservation. The place is large and welcoming, and the waiters are very kind! The menu can be scanned on your phone. We opted for two appetizers: the sfizio and the whitefish carpaccio; and two first courses: ravioli with truffle and parmesan cream, and shrimp ravioli. Everything was very good and tasty! Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: Don't expect real pizza, a low base like a piadina without edges, even a simple margherita makes you really thirsty so we don't even have the leavening, the ingredients on the pizza are abundant, nice place, normal staff.

07/01/2026: We were passing through and couldn't find anything else, so we stopped at this pizzeria. Since it was dinner, we ordered four round pizzas and sat across the street, where there are about ten tables (no placemats or trays are provided; it's just a place to sit). The pizza by the slice on display looked really good, but the round pizzas were rather disappointing. They were very thin and had a crusty crust, not the kind of pizza we were expecting... It must be said, however, that the prices are rock-bottom compared to average, and for a quick bite, this place is fine.

17/10/2025: We booked this restaurant for a weekend in May, and upon our arrival, a waiter of about fifty greeted us, immediately telling us: "Hey, it's full...you'll have to wait outside." When we complained that we had booked, the waiter reiterated: "You'll have to wait outside, there's a line." Finally, another waiter arrived and seated us. As for dinner, I can't say it was any better... I understand that everything has gone up, starting with the bread, but the price of the main courses has increased despite the reduced quantity of food, while the cover charge is €2 per person. We don't recommend it.

13/10/2025: Rustic and well-kept atmosphere, good service, excellent spaghetti carbonara, good and creamy lemon sorbet, shame about the veal cutlet which was a bit calloused.
