10/08/2025: I appreciate the consistency. We arrived without a reservation and they decided whether to seat us or not, due to staff shortages. They explained clearly that the first courses might be late. We were aware of this, so we ordered prosciutto and melon (very good) while waiting for the first courses. Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce for both arrived shortly afterward without too much of a wait. I even mopped up the plates with bread! A simple order to help the kitchen, but we were extremely satisfied! Homemade cuisine and fair prices for the location and time of year. The wait staff was friendly and cheerful. I can't comment on the more elaborate dishes. I repeat, I appreciate the consistency and frankness during difficult times because, by ordering a simpler course, we ate better than at many other restaurants!

18/07/2025: This morning we attempted to enter the beach resort. We parked in the designated parking lot and went directly to the cashier to pay the fee, which was €20 for parking, an umbrella, and two loungers. We didn't even have a chance to speak to the lady, who claimed to be the owner, who immediately stated that since we had a beach umbrella with us, we couldn't access the beach. We tried to explain that we were planning to rent an umbrella and loungers at the beach resort and that we had brought the extra umbrella with us for people arriving later who didn't want to rent equipment on site (it's a public beach, so umbrella use is permitted). The lady rudely shooed us away, saying that on her property, they do as she says. It wasn't a big deal for us, because we went to the next beach resort, where we were able to rent what we needed without any problems, but we were surprised by the owner's unwarranted rudeness.

18/05/2025: We spent 11 days at the campsite, and it was quiet and comfortable, as we were there during the off-season. The campsite offers everything you need and is beautifully landscaped. Access to the sea is easy, and the beach is great. If you're looking for nature, sand, and waves, this is the place for you.

17/05/2025: The place wasn't really prepared for the season yet. When it says "all-inclusive," that means Wi-Fi costs extra, and you have to bring your own toilet paper.

21/08/2025: We spent the evening of Ferragosto 2025 (the 15th): we went to listen to the music of a truly remarkable band (PAPIK), which we've been following for a while. Aside from the great music and the natural beauty of the location, the venue is absolutely unsuitable!!! A fixed menu dinner paid €60 per person that contained very little edible food! Frozen food that was poorly defrosted before being plated. A kitchen from which we saw a huge dog emerge. The staff was completely inadequate to serve the number of people they were hosting; they struggled and were in no way able to satisfy the guests' requests. Chairs were sagging, so you had to search for cushions to sit down. All this was topped off by a total lack of form and courtesy in customer relations and a SPASMODIC pursuit of ADVANCE PAYMENT! Any extras we ordered were charged immediately, without the option of checking out the bill at the cashier when we left. We'll never get ripped off again!

19/08/2025: Don't go there. It's a rundown, old place, not to mention the drunken owners, and who knows what. We went for dinner on the evening of August 15th. The rain started to fall, and we had to move the tables ourselves. At 12:30 a.m., we still had nothing for the first course; when we asked, we were told to wait. The chef in the kitchen was a total wreck, and the first course was made up of various sauces in various pots. If you don't know how to run a restaurant, retire.

13/07/2025: Terrible service, almost nonexistent, in fact, but they make you pay dearly for it... on a table, the most basic things are usually napkins, cutlery, and, if you want, even bread... Nonexistent cutlery, as well as bread... but what really left me speechless were the napkins! I asked for them and they arrived after 15 minutes, and more importantly, they took them away after 5 minutes!! That evening, more than a few people were upset about the terrible, slow service and the nonexistent NAPKINS... a disgrace!

15/06/2025: This evening, having found all the places full, we decided to try this place (new to us). We were shocked by a non-existent service and charged at 6 euros (2 euros per person) because it lacked table accessories: tablecloths, cutlery, napkins .... the basics of a normal service were missing. The menu was very ambiguous on prices and very minimal, the bill a bit too expensive .... The only positive note was the location ... in short, a place with potential that has not yet been exploited and expressed. However, we will not return.

18/08/2025: Terrible review of the restaurant at the Hotel Club Torre Capovento. The seafood scialatielli were awful, salty, and greasy. The price was increased from €25 to €28 for choosing a pasta dish other than the one listed on the menu. Mineral water was €5. So avoid it.

18/08/2025: A quiet little place, definitely in a truly fabulous location. My husband and I stayed just one night to escape the chaos of Rome, and I have to say we had a great time. Of course, the hotel could use a complete renovation (both the rooms and the restaurant, but also the staff, who aren't exactly friendly and helpful—with the exception of the lifeguard). It lacks many amenities, even the most basic ones (such as a cold shower, in-room telephone, in-room showers that don't flood the bathroom, more spacious rooms... and better parking). In the evening, we had dinner at the restaurant, and I have to say, from a culinary standpoint, there was nothing to say (the only negative was the spaghetti with clams, which arrived loose and inedible). The price was definitely too high for what we ate. Sure, the portions were generous, but the prices were still very high. Breakfast the next day was really minimal, simple, and B&B-like. That left us a bit disappointed.

28/08/2025: I highly recommend it. I ordered a marinated salmon appetizer, which arrived after 15 minutes, hot and tasteless, hoping it didn't have any side effects. When I ordered the appetizer, the appetizers were also ordered, but after an hour and a half, the appetizers hadn't arrived. I asked a waitress what had happened to them, but got no answer. So after another ten minutes, a total of an hour and a half of waiting for the appetizers, despite the owner insisting that the dishes were ready, I finally paid for the appetizer I ate and left. I was disappointed because despite the beautiful seafood location, customers are treated poorly. A terrible experience.

25/08/2025: Fried calamari, simply disgusting. The calamari tasted insubstantial. The fried calamari was full of oil that fell off the calamari. After pointing this out, they served it back to us as is, even though we'd asked not to. Once we'd tasted it, it was naturally left on the plate, but included in the bill anyway.

21/08/2025: Dinner at 8:30 PM... August 19, 2025 Poor consideration for the "guest." A welcome that was nothing short of gypsy-like. On the menu were items that weren't "available" once you'd chosen them!! Wine by the glass... only one choice. Careless waiters... continuous errors in delivering dishes in a sparsely crowded restaurant (should I have figured it all out already? Two tables abandoned by exasperated customers!) I'm attaching a photo of "savory spaghetti with clam shells" and a paltry plate of fried food... 3 shrimp 🍤 and 11 calamari. 🦑 I'm very sorry because my goal was to eat well... So, goal not achieved!

21/08/2025: Avoid! The timing was poor (everything arrived at the same time as the appetizers, main courses, and side dishes). The clams were awful, some of them even spoiled. The staff was inattentive, the wine was awful, full of flies and wasps, and the price was decidedly high for the poor quality.

24/08/2025: The chef comes to the table to explain what's on the menu, and this alone speaks volumes about the quality of the products offered. All the dishes exceeded expectations, everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. This will definitely be a regular stop for years to come.

17/08/2025: Excellent. A rediscovery with the old management (ownership) returning. Wonderfully cooked fish and country grass pea soup with Ventotene cuttlefish. We were only there for two nights (unfortunately we left), but it's one more reason to return to the island. Special mention to Daniele, who was very kind and helpful and even took care of my back by providing a special pillow... See you soon.

25/07/2025: La pizza era muy muy agradable! También el camarero era educado y servicial. El vino casero también era muy agradable. Prueba una de las pizzas.

19/07/2025: Locale semplice ma fa il suo. Abbiamo preso tiella al polpo, frittura, pizza margherita e una linguine con alici pomodorini e olive di Gaeta. Prezzi accettabili, personale cortese e cibo casareccio. Noi siamo stati molto bene

12/08/2025: Very beautiful location, seen from the outside, of course... Because you can't even take a step forward before the owner greets you with his dazzling smile (just kidding) while checking out your outfit! So, we ask for two loungers and an umbrella, and he tells us they have it available. "But it costs 70 euros for the fourth row." Quote: As if to say, I don't know if you can afford it!!! Okay, okay, but you're exaggerating 😂 I'll write to you a little later, for just 21 euros, comfortably lying on the lounger. Have a nice day

24/07/2025: A low-cost pizzeria with low service. It's a good choice for a quick dinner.

29/06/2025: Terrible. Rude pizza chefs who huff and puff because at 9:20 pm we ask for 2 pieces. ZERO desire to work. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE IT.

22/06/2025: Very expensive! Coffee €1.60! Mikado €4! What can I say? With so many bars on Pontina... I was wrong to stop right here! Never again!
