22/05/2025: Even though it wasn't very late, 2 pm, after we had placed our order, the waiter told us that two dishes, a first course and a second course, were finished. Furthermore, when we ordered a grilled steak, he didn't ask us how much we wanted doneness, I had to call him back to tell him. The rest of the food was of average quality. The environment was not very welcoming, starting with the black tablecloths..

14/08/2025: Very nice restaurant, excellent food. The only flaw is the atmosphere and how the waiters are treated. I hate to point it out, but customers notice these things too, and I may be a bit of a professional, but they shouldn't notice anything that goes on "behind the scenes." Above all, no worker should ever have to endure what these poor waiters endure every day in front of the public. Successful businesses survive on one thing: delegation. Furthermore, I travel a lot for work and pleasure... I'm willing to pay much higher prices than last night, but I'm not willing to be fooled, and yesterday was the case. To confirm this, I went back to Google and read the comments, and here they are: many one-star reviews with the same experience as mine, obviously all rudely commented by the restaurant manager. In business and restaurants, you have to know how to sell, I understand, and even simple phrases phrased in a certain way can lead the customer into the trap, and now you end up with four complete appetizers on the bill (€80 total for two, appetizers alone) instead of a mix of appetizers like we thought we'd ordered. If the suggestion actually called for four complete plates of raw appetizers, it should have been clarified better. The truth is that the customer who accepted the suggestion was in the wrong because he trusted the proposal, so he paid and left, vowing never to return. I repeat, not because of the amount spent, but because of the dishonest way everything happened. I wonder... is it better to do this and make money on the evening rather than start building a more loyal clientele, even among tourists? I would have returned and even spent double, but for me, fairness is more important, how things are presented, and I don't accept anyone lurking there, ready to rip off others. Catering is also about contributing to someone's happy and carefree experience. You leave with a bitter taste in your mouth, both for the small bill and for the atmosphere among the employees (who, however, are all very kind and polite, trying to keep the situation under control and manage it). What a shame...

11/08/2025: As for the appetizers, I didn't like them. The appetizers were poor and of poor quality, the pasta was overcooked. The icing on the cake was the fried fish, the shrimp and calamari were definitely frozen. The bill was exorbitant, the quality was poor.

21/06/2025: On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11, my family and I were here to order a frappé and a black mulberry granita. Nothing to say about the frappé being good and fresh, while the same cannot be said about the granita, which everyone said was inedible because it had an unpleasant flavor, a sour and alcoholic aftertaste, the same flavor that overripe fruit has that begins to ferment. Considering that the mulberry is a delicate fruit, it is plausible that with the sugar it begins to ferment soon if it is not fresh that day. I point out the fact to the saleswoman, she responds that it could be because it has been there for two days, then she tastes the granita and takes it back, saying that for her it is perfect and that since she always eats it because it is her favorite, she knows what she is talking about, she knows it well, she has trees at home, etc. etc. In short, she found a thousand justifications by questioning our experience, making us look like liars with an arrogant attitude and without leaving any room for dialogue (she was the only one speaking and over my voice without listening). She replied that she could only give me half a granita as a replacement and that is already a lot since, according to her, the owner would never have done it. I replied that this is not professionalism, that a business will not go to waste for a granita and that it would be better to retain the customer instead of letting him go away with discontent. Her response was rude, she insulted me by calling me a liar and then invited me with a wave of her hand, to go and get my ice cream somewhere else. I wonder if the company is aware of all this. We usually got ice cream in Formia but since this is your customer care policy, we will go somewhere else, as suggested by your employee.

11/06/2025: Excellent, the ice cream is truly special, of great quality, you can sense the refinement, the study behind it. I am greedy for ice cream, I like to experiment and I must say that this place deserves all my appreciation. It's a shame to have discovered it the day before leaving but being regulars in Gaeta, we will certainly return! A special thanks to Valeria, the girl who made the experience even more interesting with her professionalism in offering us various flavors, you can see that she puts love and passion into it, all enriched by her very sweet, very sweet smile. Thanks Valeria and thanks to Gretel for what you do. We will return!!

19/08/2025: Very cozy. Ice cream is delicious and much more. Unusual liqueur from the island of Capri. The most valuable thing is the staff, attentive, responsive and answer all questions. Cafe on the square. Very fun

09/08/2025: Unfortunately, like many of the island's merchants, they succumbed to greed, undermining their future profits. I paid more than 5 euros for two coffees, one with an ice cube and marketed as "caffè corretto" (they're crazy :-). I was sitting in the square and not at the counter, but the view is of the town hall and not the sea of Panarea...

24/08/2025: NOT RECOMMENDED! The pizzas arrive half an hour late, the service is lacking, leaving aside the poor young man who is extremely polite and attentive to customers and the kind lady, the arrogant owner especially when it comes to the bill... jokes in bad taste to customers are not made, especially if the customers have overlooked various shortcomings and problems with the service. Leaving aside the decent food, the bathrooms in short... honestly not up to standard for people with disabilities given the steps.

23/08/2025: On a day at the beach, six of us had dinner. We waited 30 minutes to order, 30 minutes to be told that three of the six first courses we'd ordered weren't available, and another hour to have them delivered. We'd already ordered fried food, which finally arrived, after several reminders. Full of fried vegetables, which no one had asked for, and with a few hidden shellfish. Basically... if you're hungry, get a pizza.

23/08/2025: I'd like to give it 0 stars, but unfortunately I can't. I was truly disappointed with this bar. You expect at least a modicum of kindness and professionalism in a bar, but here I only saw rudeness and a great deal of disinterest. I don't think I'll return, and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: What a shame, the owner didn't even do us the courtesy of giving some sugar sachets and an extra glass of water to our friend who was about to faint!

25/05/2025: Historic setting, food neither good nor bad. The sore point is the service. Slow and confusing. Prices a bit high but justified by the history of the restaurant.

26/04/2025: Historic restaurant in the center of Latina (Littoria), vintage 60s environment where each of us has personal memories, fast food service and simple menus and dishes, the classic restaurant of the years when I wore shorts. Good memories in those times going to the restaurant with dad and mom. A leap into the past. Well done

27/07/2025: I went for dinner this evening and I have to say everything was perfect! The atmosphere was authentic, and the ingredients were excellent! I'll definitely be back!

09/08/2025: Worst pizzeria I've ever seen. There were 15 of us in the restaurant, and I mean in the ENTIRE restaurant, and we had to wait more than 1:30 for 7 pizzas. The location sucks, you can see the vintage clock on the right and the oxygen sponsor on the left. Not to mention the staff, there are only 2 of them, and we had to tell them 15 times to take the order. The music was terrible (this was personal), the cutlery was terrible, the plastic plates for the appetizers were few choices of appetizers, and the portions were tiny. Furthermore, my menu was delivered incorrectly, meaning it was missing some pages that the others had. I ordered a diavola pizza, the dough was decent, but the tomato and mozzarella were really bad. I found the salami slices large, but at least it was spicy, so I'm giving it a star.

09/08/2025: Arriving at 9:00 PM in the Formia square, we asked the clerk if we could dine in without a reservation. A few tables were free, and they sat us down. Unfortunately for us, after ordering two pizzas at 9:00 PM, the pizzas arrived at around 10:39 PM. Meanwhile, the beer and water were hot. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded. The pizza, however, was good.

28/05/2025: I have been a customer of this pastry shop from time to time. Today, while eating some sweets, I smelled smoke (electronic cigarette) and it was not the first time, at which point I turned towards the laboratory and saw the owner smoking, so, instinctively I approached the height of the bathroom and told her that she should not smoke in a commercial activity, the "lady" instead of apologizing replied that I am nobody to tell her what she can or cannot do on her property. The disarming arrogance that she showed, even after these sentences, is unacceptable so I will never set foot in this pastry shop again.

21/06/2025: Slow and poor service. Pasta and pizza appetizers arrived in biblical times. We ordered two appetizers (one arrived according to the waitress) so we smelled it and removed it from the bill...according to the waitress that's how it should have been. On the bill instead? There was the appetizer that we didn't eat in addition...and a friend of ours who arrived 10 minutes before the end of our dinner...had only one beer but they made him pay for the service. Ah for the appetizer they deducted (after discussion) less than the cost of the appetizer. Pure madness...and then a mixed appetizer (Pcruddo, salami, chickpeas and only one type of cheese) but look around...I also want to pay but the right amount. Don't go there...everything is terrible.

06/07/2025: Mi dispiace malgrado l educazione ricevuta dai dipendenti,ma il ritardo di un primo un ore e mezza non si può sentire, né tantomeno tenere un cliente inchiodato dalle ore 21,30 alle 23,15 senza ricevere nulla.Io credo che strafare mettere tavoli ovunque pure dí riempire e portare solo una bottiglia di vino al tavolo per poi prendere una comanda dopo mezz’ora e servire dopo un altra ora significa assicurarsi già pagato il vino poi se il cliente si lamenta e vuole andare via ti deve almeno pagare la bottigli caricate il triplo .Disorganizzati un caos se avessi voluto cenare con seconda portata e dolce andavo via alle 2.Capisco che vuoi guadagnare perché c’è turismo ma il disservizio non ti premia.

27/08/2025: Barely acceptable food, limited menu. Problems with the bill, which was overpriced with the set menu option, but there's no set menu. Beware of the buffet appetizers, which aren't priced and add to the final bill. Overall, not recommended.

23/08/2025: La Casa degli Uccelli is an excellent restaurant located on Via Pontina, not far from San Felice Circeo and Terracina. We first came here on the recommendation of friends, and since then it's been our go-to place for excellent seafood dinners (I especially recommend the scampi gnocchi!). The pizza is also very good. The staff is friendly and accommodating to customer requests. The appetizer buffet idea is also excellent. 5 stars!

03/08/2025: This is what you'd call a traditional pizzeria. It offers pizza and grilled meat, without too many frills. The (Roman) pizza is exceptional, thin and crispy.

29/07/2025: Typical Italian pizzeria, food like at home! Too good, like in the country! If you don't understand the concept, look for another pizza restaurant 😉

16/07/2025: The food is quite good, but the prices are more like a restaurant (and not even cheap) than a diner. Overall, however, we weren't disappointed, thanks also to the very nice location.
