25/03/2025: Not recommended. Avoid this restaurant. Simply awful. We had the mixed fish platter with grilled vegetables and mixed salad. The salad was just iceberg lettuce and rotten tomatoes. Grilled vegetables were cold. The fish platter was very spartan. Never again.

07/11/2024: Scesi dal picco di Circe alle 14, volevamo mangiare qualcosa di veloce...anche se c'era posto nei tavoli all'aperto, il gestore in modo molto secco ci ha detto che erano rimasti solo tavoli da quattro non divisibili (pur essendo apparecchiati con runner da due). Quindi ci ha fatto accomodare in veranda dove batteva il sole ed era abbastanza caldo. Abbiamo mangiato un po' di focaccia e due primi (che erano discreti). Poca simpatia/empatia del gestore, che non ha fatto neanche lo scontrino fiscale...

22/09/2024: On September 22nd, 2024 we were guests in Ventotene with our sailing yacht. To end the beautiful day we went to Zi''Amalia for dinner. The waitress took the order. Another waitress comes and tells us that it is the opening of the season and that the bottle of wine we ordered is out. We didn't like the wine offered instead, so we ordered a bottle of Prosecco. As she leaves, she discusses it with another waitress, who comes again and says that the Prosecco is out, that today is their last day and that they are closing tomorrow. We get the impression that they are trying to sell expensive wine to non-Italian guests. Since we spoke Italian, we also understood the conversation between the waitresses. The food was very good, the atmosphere was nice. When we asked the lady who brought us the bill whether they would be closing tomorrow, she replied: no, why, we are always open. This confirmed our impression, which is a shame.
