29/10/2025: So gentlemen, 20 euros for a warm bottle of white wine and... they don't have ice... they didn't have it in the other place either. .and what about the focaccia that arrived after an hour and the broccoli full of garlic... I'm speechless, never again

17/10/2025: Beautiful new and spacious restaurant located 100 meters from the old one, towards Posta Fibreno. The owner, Valerio, and his staff are always kind and welcoming. I've had both meat and pizza on several occasions: everything was excellent. Highly recommended, both for an intimate dinner and for groups.

20/01/2026: We took this little trip to remember the times when I was a child. There's little to no trace of the past; war has decimated even my teeth. I realize that photos of my grandparents, of my deepest memories. After hours in this open-air museum, I noticed this little place. From a well-decorated shop window to a fully furnished room. We wandered inside, curious, to a legendary welcome. The varied menu, we were captivated by the dish I gave back.

02/11/2025: Horrible experience. Precooked pasta with no sauce. We had pacchero with cod, where the cod was nonexistent, and a cacio e pepe with a strong pepper. These two dishes plus a sparkling water cost €30. I don't recommend it.

31/01/2026: We celebrated my daughter's first birthday on a Sunday in late January. With the owner, Annalisa, we opted for something different than the usual lunch: a lovely buffet lunch! Excellent choice, with an aperitif while waiting for everyone to arrive. The buffet's very long table was always stocked with appetizers, then we moved on to the first courses (three choices), which were always well stocked, and the grilled main course with side dishes. Then came cake, coffee, and liqueurs. 😎 (The guests were already full after the first courses). I would make this choice again because it allows guests to eat whatever they like and the portion they want. Thanks also to all the staff at Il Piccolo Principe.

07/01/2026: Epiphany family lunch. Even with the downpour pouring, we made it to the center of Atina to visit a hidden gem… Il Vicolo. A quaint spot where we enjoyed truly exceptional dishes like gnocchi cacio e pepe with artichokes, a superb stew on a bed of mashed potatoes, and superb cod, all seasoned with a local red.

06/08/2025: Fantastic, I was super excited when I walked in. The outside is beautiful, there's a stunning lawn, a fountain that lights up in the evening and has different colors, very pretty, a large space outside before entering, inside there's a chandelier that I think is fabulous, I had the room on the 3rd floor number 301, beautiful! The bed was super soft, I slept like a dream!! There was also a small table with a kettle on it and all the things to make tea!! A desk with a beautiful mirror, the bathroom very nice and also a very large mirror! At the entrance and near the bed there are two other mirrors that I loved! In front of the TV there is also a fairly large TV so it's top!! Highly recommended!! The breakfast was very large full of many choices!! I loved it, I hope to return!

02/11/2025: We were there last night, November 1, 2025, and it was a complete disappointment. The appetizer was del brigante, and there were no entrees, but the quality was terrible, with a poor prosciutto crudo, and a measly slice of cheese. The service was mediocre. It's no longer the brigante it once was. Then the bill, 59.50 cents, was handed out by the waitress. And she didn't even round up the bill like she used to. Well, I think this experience ends here.

13/12/2025: If you are a tourist traveling across Italy don't miss out this place! It is the most typical place where you can eat in Italy hinterland. Set menu, but you can choose quantities, local wine, cheap prices, home tastes. Don't let you fool by the ambient, that's also typical, you'll have the perfect Sunday launch with the speciality, roasted lamb and potatoes, I am feeling the urge to eat them again now that I am writing

07/12/2025: Yesterday I went to La Ciociara restaurant in Amaseno (FR). In this small town, you can still enjoy local meat and truly authentic products. I tried the buffalo steak and the buffalo cacciatore stew for the first time: tender, flavorful, and truly unique. For my first course, I ordered fini fini, a typical local pasta dish, homemade, with a delicious ragù. The location is very vintage, with an atmosphere that seems to take you back to the 1970s, especially the bar with its period balcony. The dining room is filled with the aromas of the kitchen, and the rooms are spacious and welcoming. One thing struck me most of all: a glass partition separating the dining room from the kitchen, where a fireplace was lit and the staff warmed themselves by it. A simple scene that brought back memories of my childhood, when homes always had stoves and fireplaces. The cuisine is simple, homey, based on local products and traditional recipes. The only downside: I was served by two young men, one of whom was truly rude. Every time I thanked them for the dishes, he never responded. A detail, sure, but one that's out of place in a place so steeped in tradition. Recommended for everyone, including families with children.

The open kitchen is a real highlight, conveying transparency, order, and meticulous attention to detail in the preparation of dishes. The young and dynamic staff were friendly, always available, and attentive to customers, ready to offer advice and respond courteously to every request. The dishes were fresh and flavorful, with all the authentic aromas and flavors a true Greek dish should have: quality ingredients and well-balanced combinations. The wait was also minimal, despite the restaurant being busy, a sign of good organization in the kitchen and dining room. An experience I recommend to anyone who loves Greek cuisine and is looking for quality, friendliness, and a pleasant atmosphere.
