20/08/2024: The Cauta tavern is worth going to. It is located in the Castle area and therefore in the highest part of the country where you can have a magnificent view and can eat outdoors. The grill with embers is visible! The home-made cuisine is well prepared and plentiful. The person is kind and very helpful. Great for being in company. In the evening you might also need a sweater. Booking recommended. Definitely low costs.

16/06/2024: Excellent dinner, each dish dedicatedly prepared to the moment. An authentic flavor experience. We ordered tasting antipasto, trofie with ricotta and walnuts, noodles with truffle cream, risotto cacio e pere, pizza diavola, two glasses of Merlot, mineral water. For dessert, ice cream truffle with lemoncello, ricotta cream with sponge cake, chocolate volcano and tiramisu. Everything perfect, excellent presentation and an excellent combination of flavors and textures. And all for less than €22 per person!!!

01/04/2024: We discovered this restaurant by chance while going to dinner with some local friends, we didn't expect to find a restaurant of this quality in Morolo. High levels of both plating, service and quality of raw materials. Excellent service with waiter and manager very kind and very attentive to everything, excellent service. Small but welcoming environment, few tables but well served. Not a very wide choice of bubbles but otherwise a quality of raw materials that you don't expect in a village like this. The veal fillet was excellent and fell apart and melted in the mouth. Small but excellent menu. We will definitely be back.

14/08/2024: The place is well looked after. The service can improve. I found it slow and provides little information on the dishes. The food is of quality, but there is little choice: meat is the main ingredient (which is normal, given that the owners also have a butcher's shop within walking distance). As you can see from the photo, the side dishes can also improve (the potatoes, for example, not roasted well and too greasy).

04/08/2024: I discovered this place through some friends. Well furnished, clean and with attention to every detail. It is a typical grill restaurant, you won't find first courses or lots of carbohydrates to fill you up, but it is a grill restaurant with excellent meat and a vast choice of wines. The desserts in my opinion are not the best, I tried the lemon cheesecake and the tiramisu and they are certainly not of the highest standard. For the rest I highly recommend meat of all kinds, well exposed and above all lean. I would stay here again.

18/08/2024: We discovered this restaurant by chance. On August 15th there was a fixed menu. Excellent dishes, genuine and tasty cuisine. All prepared at home by Mrs. Ester who cooks with love and passion. The husband who served us was also very kind. I recommend it.

28/07/2024: You cannot serve a lunch for a ceremony - in late July - without an adequate air conditioning system. There are no valid excuses, much less the ones I read in response to another online comment. This alone would be worth a terrible review, but it's not enough. Aperitif outside without enough shade for all the guests, with paltry quantities and... tourists in swimsuits just a few meters away, shouting in the pool. The location could also be considered pleasant, more than pleasant, but not enjoyable. As if all this wasn't enough, lunch... No. We're not there. Meager portions, canteen cuisine, gross errors and general quality well below the asking price. Friendly service, but even that can't save a disaster. Sorry, the place is a fail and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I hope that we realize that we need to review management from different points of view.

27/07/2024: Non si può servire un pranzo per una cerimonia -a Luglio inoltrato- senza un adeguato impianto di condizionamento. Non ci sono scusanti che tengano, tanto meno quelle che ho letto in risposta ad un altro commento. Questo da solo varrebbe una pessima recensione, ma non basta. Aperitivo all'esterno senza abbastanza ombra per tutti gli invitati, con quantità misere e... turisti in costume a pochi metri, a schiamazzare in piscina. La location potrebbe anche essere considerata piacevole, più che piacevole, ma non godibile. Come se tutto questo non bastasse, il pranzo... No. Non ci siamo. Porzioni misere, cucina da mensa, errori grossolani e qualità generale ben sotto il prezzo richiesto. Il servizio cordiale, ma anche questo non può salvare un disastro. Mi spiace, il posto è bocciato e non lo consiglierei a nessuno. Spero che ci si renda conto di dover rivedere la gestione da diversi punti di vista.

19/05/2024: Typical characteristic restaurant in the village. Fantastic Roman pizza, excellent fried foods. The gnocchi with Nutella are excellent, an absolute must. Very affordable price. Courteous staff. Excellent price +++++

28/07/2024: I don't usually write reviews that attack just for the sake of it. I am of the opinion that those who work regardless should be respected. Mine is a personal opinion perhaps aimed at improving a service. I booked a room for one night in this hotel, everyone arrived a little busy given the lunch time, they left me the keys to the room without too much ceremony. We go up and the lock was broken and difficult to close. The room is dated, the beds are single beds pushed together but very old and very uncomfortable, the heat is oppressive, but there were ants in the very clean bathroom, it was impossible to leave personal items. A small fan tried somehow to make the room livable but with poor results. In the evening there was a village festival in the main square which was pleasant, but as the owner himself told us, it was difficult to rest, the music loud until 2 and 4/5 cleaning the square perhaps even louder than the music itself. Oppressive heat with no possibility of closing the windows. An air conditioner would be enough, a refresh of the room in terms of furniture without too many demands. The positive sides: access to dogs without any supplement and with kindness and tranquility, the price 50 euros for two nothing to say, the excellent breakfast offered at the nearby bar, a pastry shop with fresh desserts and friendly staff. And then certainly dinner, we dined in the restaurant outside full of people but friendly and helpful service (I'm only sorry that it's not possible to have a menu to look at calmly and where to see the prices) we had two cuts with delicious side dishes, water and wine 50 euros (with also a little discount) The atmosphere is friendly and cordial with people who work hard and it shows, a little more care is needed when it comes to hotels and rooms.
