Il Mercato Ristorante Enoteca In Artena

A pleasant experience at a home restaurant just outside Artena. Chef Claudio's flavorful, well-prepared dishes were served courteously by his wife Liana and the friendly, lively Tilde, the heart of the restaurant's hospitality. The atmosphere was welcoming, both inside and out, where we ate lunch and enjoyed seafood gnocchi, fragrant fried calamari, and excellent apple and jam tarts. We'll be back soon, even in good company.

The ingredients are delicious and prepared to perfection. A well-kept and quiet place, with welcoming owners who are the perfect hosts. Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant after visiting the nativity scenes in Artena. We arrived around 2 pm and were greeted with a warm smile. We ordered two plates of long gnocchi made with water and flour, typical of Artena, with ragù. Simple but delicious, as was the cacio e pepe my son had. A chocolate dessert and wine-flavored donuts to finish, which were gone in a flash. And a kind smile at the end, too. I recommend it, perhaps, as a stop after visiting the nativity scenes in town.

We ate at a wonderful place; you can feel the passion and love the owners put into every corner of the restaurant. The place is tastefully decorated, and the owners are very attentive.
