26/11/2025: After spending 15 days in Italy and surrounding countries found an amazing place I'd like to recommend "La Cocande" and as a bonus... it's affordable. On our second to the last night, near our hotel, Our hotel suggested a family owned and run "very" authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. Of course being Americans we eat much earlier than Europeans so don't let the empty tables in my photos discourage since it was full before we left. During iur dinner tge restaurant filled up as well as a large amount of take aways. My wife had a calamari/shrimp dish and I had Salamobecca del Romana (see photos for each). Although I could not pronounce it the waiter was patient and I was several slices of veal, topped with products ham and sage pierced with a skewer and seared with a fabulous Virgin olive oil. I saw several other dishes served to other tables and each was an work of savory art. Thank you to the chef and staff for an unforgettable meal and memory.

19/08/2025: A truly enjoyable evening! The staff was extremely kind and professional. The table settings were elegant and meticulously crafted. I ordered the tartare with a glass of wine, expertly recommended by the waiter. Everything was simply perfect!

18/05/2025: A very pleasant experience for the palate that is surprised by a truly successful gourmet cuisine. Fish is the king of the restaurant and the chef knows how to treat it as such, enhancing its aromas and flavors. An experience to be repeated by associating the meal with the cocktail path (a different cocktail for each course).

02/11/2025: I usually take the burgers or poke here which are very good. Today I went for the pasta and it was one of the best ones I have had in Rome ( mezzemaniche alla cacciatora) . Very good and fast service and nice environment.

05/09/2025: Pollo d wrote a review 2 contributions Yesterday YES and NO Nice place with a small amphitheater overlooking the sea where bands can perform. I went for dinner with friends. The evening featured a performance by a very good band. The dinner was a fixed price of €50. The menu included fish and vegetarian options. I'm vegetarian, so I chose the latter. The appetizer consisting of five small bites was good, slightly different from the fish menu. For starters, they offered gnocchi alla sorrentina, but instead they served me pasta, the same type as the fish menu, with tomato sauce and a few (just a few) pieces of mozzarella on top. For the main course, it was basically a vegetarian burger with a side salad, no other options, maybe baked potatoes or something else. Basically, a main course I can make at home for a much lower price, certainly not appropriate for a place of this kind and class. After leaving the last two pieces of this burger, which by now had a cold taste of sawdust, we moved on to the ice cream. The orange flavor was good. The artists on stage were very good, and the seaside atmosphere helped enhance their performance. My friends, on the other hand, appreciated the fish menu. In conclusion, I can recommend the place to anyone who isn't vegetarian; otherwise, it's better to go elsewhere. In my case, the quality/price ratio wasn't at all good.

24/08/2025: A truly enchanting place for its tranquility and location. Delicious food that respects local traditions and more. Everything was excellent. Special mention for the selection of local wines.

23/08/2025: A restaurant surrounded by greenery with a relaxing atmosphere, excellent dishes and top-quality ingredients. We tried most of the dishes on the menu and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

23/10/2025: The value for money is excellent. Also because, unfortunately, there's no cover charge, but a €2 total for bread. Quality food and supreme meat. The only downside, though not the restaurant's fault, is the difficulty finding parking.

13/11/2025: Dinner with colleagues. We ordered three delicious Australian steaks. A unique experience; besides the excellent food, Alex's advice on choosing the best meat was also indispensable. We'll be back.

12/11/2025: Excellent atmosphere, beautiful and clean, good food, and extremely kind and professional staff. Special mention goes to one of the staff, Francesco, who, despite my having specifically requested a specific cooking method for the meat that I didn't like (they did exactly as requested), immediately offered to make me a new sandwich, which was again promptly served. I recommend it to everyone, a great experience, and I'll be back.

12/10/2025: Nice place, small but welcoming, excellent food and above all very organized for gluten-free.....the owner is smart and kind and immediately put us at ease.....finally, a note of merit also for the fair prices compared to the quality. Congratulations!!

06/10/2025: The place is quite small but incredibly welcoming and cozy, with lovely background music. This place was recommended to me, and I have to say it absolutely lived up to my expectations. I'll start by saying that I'm celiac, and this place offers practically everything gluten-free. The gluten-free pizza isn't Roman, but more Neapolitan-style, and it's perhaps the best I've ever had—very light dough, flavorful, and generous toppings. The supplì averaged 7.5/8, and the dessert was incredibly good, a 9 (a sponge cake with cocoa ricotta). If you're celiac, come here!

15/11/2025: I came to this restaurant on Via della Maglianella specifically to try their grill, and believe me, my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. I ordered a Florentine steak and was amazed. The cut was impressive, well-aged, and visibly top-quality. The cooking was a true masterpiece: the meat arrived at the table with a splendid Maillard reaction on the outside—crisp, savory, and perfectly smoked from the contact with the embers—while inside it was a vibrant pink and juicy, just as tradition dictates. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the meat melting in my mouth, requiring no additional seasoning other than a drizzle of oil and salt. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, ideal for enjoying a meal of this quality. Special thanks to the staff, who were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, recommending the perfect wine to accompany the Florentine steak. If you're looking for a true grilled meat experience in Rome, and especially a memorable Florentine steak, this restaurant is a must-visit. I recommend it without reservation. I'll be back to try the other cuts!
