30/06/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dall’esterno: il locale sembra anonimo, ma dentro è una piccola perla. Ambiente curato, raffinato, arredato con gusto. Ti conquista subito. Accoglienza impeccabile, soprattutto grazie a Maurizio, il proprietario: preparato, educato, ma anche simpatico e coinvolgente. Presenta piatti e vini con competenza e passione, senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio. Il Gewürztraminer 2021 di J. Hofstätter che ci ha consigliato è stato un abbinamento perfetto per tutta la cena. Gli antipasti ci hanno stupiti: polpo con patate e pomodorino, tenerissimo e gustoso; calamari con valeriana e frutta, originali e ben bilanciati; parmigiana con mazzancolle, polpo e patate, davvero sorprendente. Nei primi abbiamo trovato gusto e creatività: tagliolini con moscardini e 'Nduja (mare e piccante al punto giusto), e tagliolini con seppioline e pachino, classici ma eseguiti molto bene. Come secondo una frittura di calamari, leggera e croccante. Niente dolce (eravamo sazi!), ma una grappa "Elisi" di Berta ha chiuso la serata in modo perfetto. In sintesi, una scoperta meravigliosa nell’agro pontino. Torneremo sicuramente, anche per l'ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità!

13/06/2025: In occasione di un pranzo di lavoro, ho avuto il piacere di vivere un’esperienza gastronomica di livello altissimo, che merita una menzione speciale sotto ogni punto di vista. 1. Il Locale La location si è rivelata perfetta per un incontro professionale: elegante ma discreta, curata nei dettagli, silenziosa quanto basta per consentire conversazioni riservate, e al contempo accogliente e confortevole. Un equilibrio architettonico e stilistico che comunica immediatamente il valore e la raffinatezza dell’esperienza che si sta per vivere. 2. Accoglienza e Professionalità Il ristoratore, insieme al personale di sala, ha saputo distinguersi per cortesia, educazione e altissima professionalità. Ogni gesto, ogni attenzione al cliente, ogni spiegazione sui piatti è stata improntata a un servizio di classe, misurato e puntuale, che ha saputo far sentire l’ospite importante, senza mai risultare invadente. 3. Qualità degli Ingredienti La selezione delle materie prime si è rivelata eccellente. Ingredienti di altissima qualità, lavorati con competenza e rispetto, valorizzati senza forzature, in una cucina che esalta la qualità e la stagionalità dei prodotti. È evidente la cura maniacale nella scelta di ogni singolo elemento del menù. 4. Abbinamenti di Sapori e Presentazione I piatti proposti sono stati un vero trionfo del gusto: accoppiamenti audaci ma perfettamente bilanciati, sapori che si fondono in un’armonia sorprendente, consistenze calibrate e profili aromatici raffinati. Ogni portata è stata un’esperienza sensoriale, servita con una presentazione impeccabile e una cura estetica che riflette l’arte della cucina d’autore. Conclusione Un pranzo di lavoro trasformato in un momento di autentico piacere culinario. Un’esperienza che coniuga altissima qualità, eccellenza professionale e attenzione al dettaglio. Un luogo in cui il valore dell’accoglienza e della cucina si esprime ai massimi livelli. Assolutamente eccezionale.

With calm and helpfulness, he guides you through your choice of dishes, then moves on to the wine selection, which he makes excellent recommendations for. The dishes are rich in flavor and well-composed, while maintaining generous portions. Each dish is absolutely delicious. Simply put, Locanda Ercole takes you on a culinary journey across the Mediterranean coast. Highly recommended!

21/10/2025: A great evening spent in the center of Fondi, just a stone's throw from the famous "Baronial Castle"... exquisite food and brilliant staff... I'll be back soon.

We didn't have the pleasure of staying at this magnificent Masseria, but the tranquility of the location would certainly have won us over.

Located in the historic center of Velletri, this restaurant welcomes guests in a rustic, warm, and familiar setting, where the atmosphere is authentic and convivial. The cuisine is home-style and faithful to Velletri's traditions: flavorful dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The pasta is homemade, and it shows: authentic, flavorful, and with that artisanal touch that makes all the difference. Each course is well-cooked and plentiful, perfect for those who love good, old-fashioned cuisine. The staff is truly impeccable: kind, smiling, and welcoming, they make you feel right at home. Not to mention the wine cellar, stocked with their own wines: we tasted one of their wines and it was truly delicious, perfect for accompanying lunch. The homemade desserts were also excellent, a perfect ending to a quality meal. The only complaint was the wait between courses, which was slightly longer than expected. No big deal, though, because overall we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. In short, La Vecchia Taverna is an authentic, welcoming, and quality restaurant, perfect for those seeking authentic flavors and a warm, rustic atmosphere. Highly recommended for a pleasant lunch in the heart of Velletri.

16/09/2025: Ate here for my husband's 50th birthday. A truly pleasant discovery. The atmosphere was quiet, the staff were friendly and unobtrusive, and the food was excellent! I don't have any photos because I ate it all right away!

06/09/2025: We already want to return. Excellent experience, from appetizers to dessert, you can sense the care taken in the preparation. Fresh pasta made by them. Polite and efficient wait staff. Step inside and you'll be enveloped in a serene atmosphere.

02/11/2025: We were thrilled with the friendliness, the atmosphere, and the delicious food in Pulicaro. It's also a great base for exploring the surrounding area, and the hosts are incredibly helpful. You absolutely mustn't miss the Saturday dinner or Sunday lunch. We've rarely met people who run their organic farm with such heart and soul. See you soon, we'll definitely be back!

26/11/2025: After spending 15 days in Italy and surrounding countries found an amazing place I'd like to recommend "La Cocande" and as a bonus... it's affordable. On our second to the last night, near our hotel, Our hotel suggested a family owned and run "very" authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. Of course being Americans we eat much earlier than Europeans so don't let the empty tables in my photos discourage since it was full before we left. During iur dinner tge restaurant filled up as well as a large amount of take aways. My wife had a calamari/shrimp dish and I had Salamobecca del Romana (see photos for each). Although I could not pronounce it the waiter was patient and I was several slices of veal, topped with products ham and sage pierced with a skewer and seared with a fabulous Virgin olive oil. I saw several other dishes served to other tables and each was an work of savory art. Thank you to the chef and staff for an unforgettable meal and memory.

11/12/2025: I was there 2 weeks ago, the porchetta was excellent, but then there was no show. The staff were friendly, it was a shame the place was a bit small, but it wasn't a problem.

10/12/2025: My wife and I have lived in Lazio for over two years. We've tried local dishes in several restaurants, and to date, we can honestly say this is where we've had the best Roman first courses! The staff was also very welcoming and friendly. We'll be back with great pleasure.

05/09/2025: Pollo d wrote a review 2 contributions Yesterday YES and NO Nice place with a small amphitheater overlooking the sea where bands can perform. I went for dinner with friends. The evening featured a performance by a very good band. The dinner was a fixed price of €50. The menu included fish and vegetarian options. I'm vegetarian, so I chose the latter. The appetizer consisting of five small bites was good, slightly different from the fish menu. For starters, they offered gnocchi alla sorrentina, but instead they served me pasta, the same type as the fish menu, with tomato sauce and a few (just a few) pieces of mozzarella on top. For the main course, it was basically a vegetarian burger with a side salad, no other options, maybe baked potatoes or something else. Basically, a main course I can make at home for a much lower price, certainly not appropriate for a place of this kind and class. After leaving the last two pieces of this burger, which by now had a cold taste of sawdust, we moved on to the ice cream. The orange flavor was good. The artists on stage were very good, and the seaside atmosphere helped enhance their performance. My friends, on the other hand, appreciated the fish menu. In conclusion, I can recommend the place to anyone who isn't vegetarian; otherwise, it's better to go elsewhere. In my case, the quality/price ratio wasn't at all good.
