15/01/2026: We've known Amelindo restaurant for many years. My grandparents used to come here for dinner when they returned from America. The restaurant has changed since then, but the quality of the seafood has remained the same. What strikes me is the cleanliness and speed of service. The proximity to the sea is also worth considering.

15/03/2026: A nice place with a good atmosphere, but it's a shame it gets really crowded: the tables are so close together that you end up practically squeezing people at other tables. It's also hard to really figure out what kind of place it's supposed to be. It's not a nightclub, because the music (though pleasant) stops at midnight. It's not even a real drinks bar: we ordered gin and tonics that were advertised as high-quality, but unfortunately they were very watered down and made with tonic water from a large supermarket bottle. The main problem is that the price isn't listed anywhere, and we ended up with €60 on the bill for four gin and tonics that were honestly undrinkable. Had we known this in advance, we would have definitely opted for a bottle of wine. We spent €65 each (discounted; otherwise it would have been €72) for a plated hamburger, two appetizers, a portion of patties, a bottle of water, and two gin and tonics! Regarding the restaurant: the eggplant tart was very good, as was the prosciutto; the hamburger, on the other hand, was rather mediocre. The music is good, but it's so loud it makes it difficult to talk while eating. The place is packed and definitely popular, probably due to its reputation, but I personally think there are better places out there.

08/03/2026: A very particular and beautiful place, but it has little or nothing of the Roman cuisine tradition... only the 4 classic pasta dishes, with small and overcooked portions... no noteworthy second courses, no house wine, in total, a carbonara, a mix of battered fried vegetables, a glass of wine of dubious quality, water and coffee, 38 euros... I would say not good... on the contrary.

28/02/2026: I have to be honest! When we eat at this restaurant, it feels like home! So, I can't say enough good things about it! Try it and believe it!

08/02/2026: It's the classic trattoria-pizzeria down the street. Where you know you're going for dinner and will be treated with affection. The manager is always available, the food is simple, not fancy, but good and carefully prepared. The pizza is excellent, "Roman" style, thin and well-cooked, with the classic toppings, but if you want a twist, just ask (I doubt it's possible to have it with pineapple). The desserts are always good. At the end of the meal, a glass of limoncello or blueberry grappa. Reasonable prices compared to other places in the area, considering it's less than a kilometer from St. Peter's. A tip: once you exit, go to the traffic light on the right, the pedestrian crossing on Gregorio VII, and look to the right. The view will remind you that you're in a unique place. M!

02/10/2025: O e of the best meals I have had. The fresh porcini mushroom pasta was amazing. I seared duck breast was cooked perfectly and the orange sauce was perfect. They have a huge wine menu and great prices. Highly recommend coming here.

11/01/2026: Wow, every time I’m close to Sabina I come to this restaurant, family owned simple service. The foods are to die for at a Ma and pie price and I just had Real with like a Hunter sauce over mashed potatoes and then I had a salad on the side that was out of this world and before that I had pasta dish that I wish I could get in the states and I’d pay three times the amount that they charge here

We particularly appreciated the authentic flavor of the dishes, prepared with top-quality ingredients. The homemade pasta was truly exceptional, as were the portions, generous yet well-balanced. The real added value is the kindness of Riccardo and the rest of the staff, his family: a sincere yet discreet welcome that immediately makes you feel at ease. The restaurant itself is also warm and welcoming, ideal for an evening with friends. In short, a place that leaves no one dissatisfied; we'll definitely be back!

26/02/2026: It was 7:20 pm, the place was almost completely empty except for two tables. We didn't have a reservation, and the woman behind the counter said everything was reserved, but she could have given us a table at 9 pm... We declined and went to another restaurant! We only arrived on Wednesday, which is their day off... So making a reservation was difficult.

03/02/2026: If you want authentic Neapolitan pizza, this is the place to go, just five minutes from the sea! Every dish is traditional, and the staff are friendly and helpful...you'll want to try it and keep coming back!

28/09/2025: A simple and genuine family atmosphere in a historic location for carnivores, with the legendary Mr. Baffo always grilling, just as he did 40 years ago. For those who love good meat and the typical Roman spirit, dining at Baffo is highly recommended.
