13/12/2025: Vintage decor, friendly staff, and great live music. I'd been wanting to go for a long time, and it didn't disappoint. There are many rooms, all tastefully decorated. Prices are in line with the venue and services.

11/11/2025: Everything was excellent, except for the bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, which wasn't seasoned. In any case, you come here for the arrosticini, which are out of this world for a Roman getaway.

06/12/2025: My wife and I went to dinner at this place that someone recommended to me. I don't know if I happened to be there on the wrong night, but things didn't go well at all. We ordered a mixed platter and a half portion of tripe. The platter was very good, no complaints there. The cured meats were good and of high quality. Tripe? It didn't arrive. And so, that can happen on busy nights. Meanwhile, the lights go off and on several times during dinner. And so, technical problems happen. Next, we ordered gricia with pistachios and oxtail stew. The gricia wasn't bad, but my oxtail stew was literally charred. It even smelled burnt. And so, that can happen, so I asked for a replacement. And that's when the real problem happened. They brought it back to me on another plate, with the same burnt smell, and I realized they'd just changed the plate and added a "non-burnt" piece. But the dish still smelled burnt, and there was a piece that was practically charred. And that's not fair. I don't accept the mockery. I send it back and ask for dessert. The disassembled cannoli. Well, it wasn't a disassembled cannoli. A cream with a little Nutella, a splash of pistachio cream, and a broken wafer (not a cannoli wafer) on top. It didn't taste bad, but it had nothing of the cannoli flavor. In the end, after removing the oxtail and tripe, we spent 60 euros. I don't think I'll go back, although I'm sure the grilled meat isn't bad, because when I saw it go by, it looked excellent. But my experience was truly negative.

27/11/2025: For me, this is the best Roman trattoria in Garbatella. Excellent food and generous portions. There were 20 of us and we ate very well. I always love returning.

20/10/2025: This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Ostia. It's located inside the Stagno Park, a truly pleasant location, also suitable for families with children. The food is good, and the waiters are extremely kind and professional: they really do their best to accommodate their customers' requests. Another plus is that the restaurant is open during the holidays: at Christmas and New Year's, they offer a nice menu at a fair price and organize evenings with live music. Personally, I'd think it would be nice, at least for New Year's Eve, to add a small prize or extra detail to make the evening even more special. There are, however, some aspects that, in my opinion, could be improved. For example, the desserts aren't always up to par: the Caprese, in particular, I find a bit dry, and the ones listed on the menu aren't always available. Table availability is also worth considering: even though I'm a regular, if I don't book in advance, I rarely get a seat, as it's often full. Furthermore, the restaurant only offers takeout and pickup, but does not offer home delivery through platforms like Deliveroo or similar. Another small point worth mentioning is that the Fork app is no longer available. While no discounts were offered there, it was still convenient for booking and earning points, which is an added bonus for regular customers. Finally, I noticed that in the past they offered small discounts for loyal customers, but now they don't. It's nothing major, but such a gesture is always appreciated and, in my opinion, it makes those who return often feel valued. Overall, however, I recommend this place for its overall quality, the courtesy of the staff, and their attentive service, even during the holidays. I think a fair rating is 4 out of 5 stars.

17/11/2025: Very tasteful coffee and nice pastry. Also they have a window great for reading with your coffee. No laptops allowed.

16/11/2025: The coffee was probably the best I’ve had here, but the temperature of the cappuccino was definitely overheated. To get a coffee, you have to stand in quite a long line, even if you just want it to go. They definitely need to set up a separate line for people who want takeaway so they don’t have to wait together with those dining in.

14/12/2025: A place for lunch. Cramped. Standard Roman service, calm and friendly. The food...not up to par. The salads are probably good, but if you're going for the entrees, it's not up to par. First of all, they don't make gricia, which is a serious problem for a restaurant in Trastevere. If I'd switched to the carbonara, I would have thrown it at the chef... it was loose, runny, and tasteless... an affront to Roman cuisine. There were a lot of us, and no one liked it. Prices are high for the quality. Only go there if you're on a diet...

07/12/2025: Disappointing considering the 4.5/5 Google rating. The food tasted like something I could have made at home: a bland risotto (we added half a jar of Parmesan to give it some flavor), and the pasta with pesto was just okay (overcooked and tasted like supermarket pesto). We liked the lasagna a bit better, and the house white wine was good. It's similar to a Vinho Verde, like the ones they make in Portugal. The service was fine; there weren't many customers.

21/11/2025: Convenient parking in front, fair prices, perhaps even low for the quality and preparation method. The raw seafood was good, the pasta was good, and the appetizers were overall good! The staff was always attentive, kind, and courteous! It was a lovely, delicious lunch! About €100 per person, a more than fair price! See you next time!

04/12/2025: A truly lovely, welcoming and well-kept little place. I had one of the best pizzas of my life, not too thick nor too thin, superbly topped, and cooked just right. They offer unique pizzas with delicious toppings. Excellent desserts. Impeccable service. Prices are in line with the high standard. Highly recommended; I'll be back soon.

12/12/2025: We went because it seemed like something typical, more home-style. Nothing like that. The salad was tasteless; the tomatoes were just tomatoes because you could see them. The lasagna was light, and the spaghetti was good. The service was good, with young staff, quite young for their age, I suppose. The atmosphere was just okay. It's the only place in Rome, where I spent a week, that charged me for service (4 euros). If you want, I can go ahead and serve myself. I usually leave a tip, around 5 euros, especially if the staff is young. But here, I didn't bother. And I've been to spectacular places, in squares, not in an alley, hahaha. And the service charge was included in the price. I don't recommend it if you're a foreigner.

09/12/2025: An Italian restaurant that stands out for its authentic, home-style Roman cuisine. The dishes are bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients and that traditional touch that transports you straight to Rome. What's more, the service is unbeatable: the waitress is incredibly friendly, approachable, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. A highly recommended place to enjoy authentic Italian food and excellent service. We tried the pizza, cannelloni, and lasagna, and everything was excellent.

It’s nice when the food tastes good and is clearly made with quality. I also counted the calories using the service shown in the photo attached to my review. Super convenient — quick, visual, and easy to understand how much I ate. I recommend it to anyone who watches their diet — it really helps you stay on track.

24/08/2025: If you're not going to Sardinia...then Rocco in Sperlonga is always a guarantee. Few umbrellas, plenty of room to play, fantastic sea, perfect beach, Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and an excellent location. I'd only add one negative. The price of DRINKS IS EXCESSIVE; you can't pay €5 for a small beer...not even in Portofino!!! Everything else is OK, highly recommended, and Rocco's helpfulness is always UNIQUE.

22/09/2025: We visited the restaurant on Sunday, September 21st, for my nephew's confirmation. What can I say? A truly unique experience. We were welcomed by the owner, Federica, and the chef, with a welcome aperitif of Sicilian shrimp and hot fried anchovies, all accompanied by an exceptionally high-quality sparkling wine. We continued our meal with some incredibly delicious fish appetizers: octopus and potatoes, mussel and clam soup, seafood salad, and a warm pizza bianca. For the first courses, burrata ravioli with grouper and a seafood risotto, both very good. To finish, we had fried fish and fish fillet with potatoes, cooked to perfection and melting in the mouth. Lunch was served with wines from their cellar, delicious and fresh. I recommend it for an evening, an event, or an aperitif.

26/05/2025: We had a wonderful tasting of an assortment of whites and reds, which also included a nice tour of the facility and great conversation about the winery. An added bonus were the very loving dogs! We were very happy to leave with a trunk full of great wine to enjoy. We'll be back soon to have lunch prepared by their chef. Judging by the quality of the wine I'm sure it'll be amazing.
