Just a few meters from the Vatican Museums, a great place for an aperitif and excellent focaccia, especially the porchetta one. The beer is a bit pricey, $6 for a Peroni… Otherwise, highly recommended, with good food at a much better price. The owner is friendly and pleasant.

The beauty of simplicity. A small, owner-run shop that makes sandwiches. It's perfect, not because of its uniformed staff with countless training courses, or its extensive and sophisticated menu. I'd go back a thousand times, for the sandwiches, for the atmosphere, for the fact that they serve my food on a wooden plate and I end up covered in oil. I dare say it's a must-visit if you're in the area.
