12/09/2025: Nice for an aperitif In the Centocelle area, there are now several nice places for an aperitif or after-dinner drink. The place is very nice inside, with a menu offering both a buffet and à la carte options. I personally tried a Negroni, and it was particularly well-made.

02/10/2025: A refined restaurant in its simplicity. The dishes are served with care, not just aesthetics. The quality of the ingredients and the way they're prepared are truly excellent. My compliments! I really hope to return.

17/09/2025: Gluten-free pizza is like a cooked cracker, so I won't add anything else, it deserves one star. The prices are really high, a €16 pizza, and not even the quality is high, except for the courteous staff.

04/09/2025: I had dinner here over the weekend for the first time. I wanted to try it because I'd heard good things about it, and it met our expectations. The meat is delicious, and you can choose it in front of you. I also recommend it for a less busy evening, as they also do hamburgers and fries (very good). The location is very nice, although the outside area can get a bit chaotic when it gets crowded, especially on weekends.

12/10/2025: It's possible. Even though it's Sunday lunchtime... the codfish "alla contadina" was excellent... and a stroke of luck... I found porcini mushrooms and chanterelles... I recommend the porcini salad if you like their aroma... always remember to ask if they're sautéed or whole for the roasted ones... you'll have to decide... otherwise, everything else was fine... The owners were super kind, and their staff even more so... I forgot about the view of Rome... perfect.

27/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant a few nights ago to try the Pinsa. The Hard-boiled Pinsa and the Capricciosa were terrible. All the ingredients were of the lowest quality, and overall, both Pinsas were disgusting! The ham was off-color, the salami slice was fatty and too thin, the tomato tasted like nothing, as did the artichoke, egg, and pancetta. Furthermore, they write on the menu that the water is microfiltered, but instead they served us slightly chilled water that tasted like tap water. Truly a terrible experience; I wonder how they can keep up with such disgusting food. I understand a tourist from the other side of the world who might not realize what they're eating (either because they're tired or hungry after a long day), but I hope a Roman will immediately realize that this is a place to avoid! Instead, I recommend the Pinsa at Gran Caffè Roma, which I tried a couple of weeks ago. The new management makes an exceptional Pinsa Amatriciana with quality ingredients and delicious tomatoes. Not like these makeshift ones. Photos and receipt attached.

11/10/2025: The traditional dishes are very generous and, what can I say, delicious! The atmosphere is family-friendly and homey. I'll definitely be back.

12/10/2025: Two friends and I went for an aperitif. It's a centrally located place, so it's busy but not too noisy. It has outdoor patio seating and indoor seating. Excellent service, friendly staff. Linda

Efficient service, courteous staff, helpful and attentive owners, and excellent food make you want to return every time to savor the delicacies. Highly recommended. This place is dedicated to our beloved Claudio Baglioni, also from Centocellato, like us. The owners have always been deeply in love with his art. Who knows, maybe one day the Maestro will surprise us by honoring us all with a visit. I hope to be there! Piazza delle Camelie 18.

10/10/2025: A lovely discovery just steps from Tiburtina. Wonderful welcome. Excellent coffee service, full-bodied and aromatic, served in a glass with a nice glass of water. The toast "with mozzarella" is excellent, the owners are keen to point out. This neighborhood in Rome is worth a visit, with its circular streets and colorful views of period buildings, amidst shops that have remained local-friendly.

02/10/2025: A cafe where you can feel the local atmosphere, the cappuccino served outdoors was superb, and the friendly staff were also great!

26/10/2025: Back to this little restaurant, and once again, an experience to treasure! This time on a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost fully booked, yet the service was impeccable, the atmosphere intimate and refined, and the food sublime. We were delighted to discover new culinary offerings and appreciate the new accolades received by this young team of professionals led by Chef Alessio. It's truly a pleasure to be pampered by this small but highly original restaurant on the outskirts of Rome. Congratulations, indeed!

10/10/2025: I was in Valmontone for work, I had lunch at Specus and immediately felt at home. Alessio and Flavia welcomed me as if we'd always known each other. The atmosphere was clean and quiet, and the cuisine was authentic and delicious. It will be a destination for three lunches and dinners. My compliments to Alessio and Flavia. Thank you for the wonderful lunch.

12/10/2025: I asked for an ice cream cone, but they told me that if I wanted to sit outside, they could only give me the cup. I insisted, saying I didn't want the cup, but there was no way. I agreed, sat down outside, and saw that everyone sitting around me was all holding a cone. After half an hour, a waiter came out and pointed out to the people with cones that they could sit at the tables with the high chairs, since the ones with the low chairs were reserved for those with the cups. Aside from the unusual and extremely complicated system I'd never seen in any bar, they could have simply handed me the cone and told me to sit at the high tables, which apparently didn't have a cover charge. I therefore found it very unfair that I was forced to order something I didn't want just to charge me more. And then again, if they wanted to charge me a cover charge, I would have paid it anyway, but having ordered what I wanted. Instead, I paid €5 for a small cup.

09/09/2025: I wish I had more than 5 stars to give to this place. I discovered their rice gelato nearly 20 years ago and it is still as good today as it was that first time. It’s like they took an incredible rice pudding and froze it. I’ve never had gelato so good. On my last trip I went as many times as I could and still can’t get enough. The rice flavors especially blew my mind. The folks working here are very kind, and offer some unexpected but delightful pairing suggestions.
