05/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant. Simple, home-cooked dishes. Great for lunch with family or friends. Good appetizers, superb first courses. The grilled food is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. A little outside of Rome, which makes this place a great choice for a quick lunch. Excellent service.
21/09/2025: The food is good, the service is a bit slow and the atmosphere is splendid, but it's more expensive than it was a few years ago!

Mrs. Maria delighted us with her cuisine. The staff was attentive and courteous.
The excellent baked sea bream with potatoes was a must-try.

25/07/2025: In our case, we stayed in the suite, located above the Borguetto Bistro bar. It was a huge room with a large balcony. The service was excellent, and it was wonderfully quiet.

06/10/2025: Their mortadella pizza is so addictive, I always stop by every time I pass by and get a piece. The prices are also a pleasure to eat and a great way to indulge. My compliments to everyone, from the people behind the counter to those inside doing the (good) hard work.

18/11/2025: I came here by chance, I was traveling for work. I ate well, serving traditional local dishes. The staff is courteous, and the atmosphere is dated but still quaint and clean. I recommend it.

11/12/2025: Cute spot in Santa Monica that does have that “local” feel. Came here for an early dinner with my family and we had a great time. The meal was leisurely and relaxed. We ordered the charcuterie board to share for the apps and it had a nice mix from local farms alongside a salad. I had the brick chicken, which is apparently a restaurant favorite. My boyfriend really liked his bolognese pasta and my dad similarly enjoyed his cavatelli. Portions are reasonable and we ended the meal with a chocolate budino. I had a pumpkin spice latte which ended up just being a tea with a lot of milk. We sat outside and the vibes were very chill. Our waitress was friendly and a lot of families with young kids were also sitting on the patio.
15/11/2025: As a long time customer of Local, I must admit this review is a bit biased. There is nothing quite like sitting at the bar in front of the wood fire, and watching the chef make you an olive oil flat bread, or your favorite pizza. Also quite possibly the best wine selection in the area. And if you are not feeling the fire today, there is a lovely patio out front, and a tasty array of pasta to choose from.

02/11/2025: Excellent food, very fresh fish, good wine, very kind staff, everything well orchestrated by the owners of the place.
18/10/2025: Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, fast and organized service despite the restaurant being full. You can also sit outside if the weather permits, as the street and Piazza Pia are closed to traffic on that side.
It goes without saying that everything was delicious, but the top score goes to Rita's tiramisu, which isn't the usual one served in a glass, but a portion on a plate. I didn't photograph it because I didn't have time! Am I biased? Try it...

09/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant on the beachfront overlooking the sea: the atmosphere is truly pleasant and relaxing. The girls who work there are fantastic, always kind, smiling, and attentive to their customers. The food is delicious and enhanced even further by the picturesque location. I definitely recommend this place for enjoying a dinner with a sunset view.

20/11/2025: Ambient, moody, and modern. If you like Rihanna, the Weeknd, or Gorillaz, I have a feeling you'll love Spirito.
The drinks are themed after historical graffitis of Pigneto, and are crafted to an art. Perfectly cut ice, clear and punchy notes, and even the non-alcoholic drinks don't shy from excellence.
My date and I are definitely more indie-lounge-by-candelight folks, but the employees were incredibly warm and sociable--they did not hesitate to accommodate me as an English-speaker, and were open to conversation.
02/11/2025: The service isn't up to par for the price, incredibly slow, and the cocktails are either wrong or never arrive. There were a lot of us, but you can't bring cocktails without knowing who they're for, so let me get them at the bar. The food arrives after the cocktails. The cocktails are incredibly complicated, and they don't know how to make a decent Long Island. The music is very loud.

15/08/2025: The best bar in Gaeta, with friendly and welcoming staff. Finally, a place equipped for those with food intolerances. I found lactose-free milk and a vegan croissant, and that's a lot! I recommend it to everyone!
