11/12/2025: Cute spot in Santa Monica that does have that “local” feel. Came here for an early dinner with my family and we had a great time. The meal was leisurely and relaxed. We ordered the charcuterie board to share for the apps and it had a nice mix from local farms alongside a salad. I had the brick chicken, which is apparently a restaurant favorite. My boyfriend really liked his bolognese pasta and my dad similarly enjoyed his cavatelli. Portions are reasonable and we ended the meal with a chocolate budino. I had a pumpkin spice latte which ended up just being a tea with a lot of milk. We sat outside and the vibes were very chill. Our waitress was friendly and a lot of families with young kids were also sitting on the patio.
15/11/2025: As a long time customer of Local, I must admit this review is a bit biased. There is nothing quite like sitting at the bar in front of the wood fire, and watching the chef make you an olive oil flat bread, or your favorite pizza. Also quite possibly the best wine selection in the area. And if you are not feeling the fire today, there is a lovely patio out front, and a tasty array of pasta to choose from.

02/11/2025: Excellent food, very fresh fish, good wine, very kind staff, everything well orchestrated by the owners of the place.
18/10/2025: Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, fast and organized service despite the restaurant being full. You can also sit outside if the weather permits, as the street and Piazza Pia are closed to traffic on that side.
It goes without saying that everything was delicious, but the top score goes to Rita's tiramisu, which isn't the usual one served in a glass, but a portion on a plate. I didn't photograph it because I didn't have time! Am I biased? Try it...

25/11/2025: I'm echoing the response you gave to Francesca Lucangeli earlier... instead of laughing at the negative reviews, you should treasure them... I confirm everything... the pizza looked like a piadina... maybe you cooked it badly that night... not all the donuts come out with a hole... the dough was good but lacked salt... the bruschetta was nothing special... do you only accept 5-star reviews? Is that up to you? Terrible... in response to your review, it's useful for those who come after us, their opinion doesn't matter, in fact it shows a lot of professionalism... I wish you the best... happy to never see you again

02/11/2025: Very spacious, clean, and well-furnished restaurant with a huge parking lot.
The staff is courteous but not particularly attentive.
As noted in other reviews, the service is this restaurant's weak point: the order was taken as soon as we entered, but the food arrived too staggered and after several requests.
The fried pizzas with sauces and the homemade cacio e pepe sfogiatine were good.
The spaghetti alla gricia and the trofie alla boscaiolo were excellent.
The pizzas were also good, although, in my opinion, smaller than average.
For a few appetizers at the center of the table, a pizza or a first course, some desserts, and drinks, we spent €24 per person.
I would return only if the service improved.

05/11/2025: We can't judge the quality of the food because we weren't able to try the restaurant, but we feel compelled to point out the lack of seriousness and professionalism.
We booked days in advance, but our reservation was canceled with the excuse that they had another pending reservation, which they thought wasn't confirmed. A disappointing experience for anyone looking for even a modicum of reliability in service.
12/10/2025: A high-end restaurant. A warm, family-friendly atmosphere where you can chat at the table. Intriguing, high-quality dishes.
Try the spaghetti with sea urchins and the espresso tiramisu.

03/10/2025: Wonderful location. Quite. Great view. Family owned place and really delicious food. And best part for us that kitchen was open at 6 (even they do “orario continuato”) which is unusual for Italy. And they served the food quite fast, again unusual 😅 Not because that was what we expected but since we’re quite hungry that was great. 10/10

15/08/2025: The best bar in Gaeta, with friendly and welcoming staff. Finally, a place equipped for those with food intolerances. I found lactose-free milk and a vegan croissant, and that's a lot! I recommend it to everyone!

30/11/2025: I discovered this pizzeria by chance while strolling along Viale Eritrea, and it was a truly pleasant surprise. The place is small, with limited seating, but the counter is well stocked: all kinds of pizzas, calzoncini, and even unique options like parmigiana made with pizza dough. I tried a mozzarella and sausage calzoncino, and it was truly spectacular: well-cooked, tasty, and without any strange flavors. The Margherita pizzas were also good, simple, and in line with what you'd expect from a place like this. The gentleman at the counter, presumably the owner, was extremely kind and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The prices are fair for what they offer. A great find.
29/10/2025: It's hard to describe the quality of the products and, above all, the owners in just a few words. Falloni will win you over, the calzones are Oscar-worthy, and the pizza is divine! It perfectly represents the Roman pizza cut: not too thick, flaky, and crunchy! You can eat in. It remains one of the very few TRUE Roman pizzerias; I'd say it's a neighborhood institution!

03/06/2025: Cibo ottimo, nella zona è il migliore senza dubbio. Sia prodotti da terra che di mare sono molto buoni. Prezzo ottimo sui 45 a testa prendendo antipasto , primo e vino.
02/06/2025: Resolvemos almoçar nesse restaurante quando estávamos em viagem de Roma à Sorrento e tivemos uma surpresa muito boa com a comida e atendimento. O local é muito agradável e a comida saborosa. Na hora que chegamos estava bem tranquilo e o atendimento foi rápido. Experimentamos uma entrada bem diferente, com camponata e umas espécies de saltados. Como prato principal eu comi polvo, que estava uma delícia. Recomendo bastante.
