09/12/2025: A welcoming restaurant in the heart of Testaccio, serving classic Roman cuisine with a modern and elegant twist. The dishes are well-executed and of high quality: the first courses, especially the cacio e pepe and amatriciana, are truly spectacular and among the best of the evening. The wine list is also excellent, well-stocked and interesting. The service was good, friendly, and professional, though not particularly impressive. Overall, the experience was very pleasant, although I expected a little more to achieve excellence. Recommended.

02/11/2025: Fish dinner. Portions sized like "canvasati" (a small plate of bread), overpriced for the quality and quantity of food, and a decidedly poor location. I don't think I'll ever go back. To be forgotten.

19/11/2025: A welcoming and charming place. The appetizer of local cured meats was EXCELLENT, as well as plentiful, and the bruschetta seasoned with the new olive oil was also excellent. The wine, bread, and homemade olive oil were excellent. My wife and I (after brazenly requesting and devouring a second helping of their homemade loin) ordered two large, tender and juicy grilled beef steaks with a side of sautéed chicory that... spoke for themselves. As soon as we'd finished enjoying this excellent meat, the (very kind) waitress appeared and offered us a taste of their freshly cooked specialty, PADELLACCIA (on the house), a kind of pork stew (which unfortunately can only be enjoyed at certain times of the year) with an unmistakably savory flavor. To round out the meal, we enjoyed some homemade pastries, coffee, and... a bottle of amaro left on the table for our use. I won't tell you how much I spent on the bill because you'll find out for yourself, but I can assure you that this place deserves the HONESTY AWARD. We can't wait to go back. GREAT!

15/11/2025: Meat, pasta, and pizza deserve four stars, but the location and structure aren't, the place could get three stars. If you eat out, it's nice. However, if you're hungry and like to eat, go there. Vincenzo won't disappoint. Welcoming staff, good value. It's an excellent restaurant for value. Pizza rounds for €15, if you eat a full meal, no more than €25.

01/11/2025: We decided to try this local pizza joint. We ordered tomato bruschetta, it was good for a place like this. My wife had a pizza, well cooked, not burnt (like others are saying).My calzone was tasty. We didn’t expect super food for high-end restaurants but it do the job very well coming from this local small place. It is perfect for a taste of the neighborhood. The service was great.

20/09/2025: Italy's best tasting Gelato !!! Great family run business. If you're travelling through the Lazio region, detour through Fondi and pay them visit.

20/09/2025: If you are ever passing through Fondi or simply staying in the town, I strongly suggest that you taste Fondi's best gelato store. Amazing frozen yogurt and the kindest staff ever!! If I could rate this 6 stars, I would 🤩!! The atmosphere is absolutely fun and friendly.

24/05/2025: I had dinner with a large group of friends last night, the owner took our order, very accommodating, kind and available to explain the menu, and even though there were eight of us, everything arrived very quickly The breads and fried foods are abundant to say the least, as well as good, really a lot, it makes it difficult to leave something on your plate despite the quantities. I will definitely return, I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a nice evening in company in front of quality food

20/09/2025: The best beer bar in the area, by far! Approachable and friendly manager, excellent beer selection. A place for regulars with a very friendly and family atmosphere. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the beers. Highly recommended.

30/10/2025: A family-run business, the welcome is absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere wonderful. The owners are very, very pleasant and always smiling. The pizzas are excellent. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is lovely, the climate is very friendly, we felt like we were at home. The pizza is delicious. I love it.

18/07/2025: I went today with my parents for a quick lunch. I found out about it through my partner, who happened to be looking for a place to have lunch a few days ago. Everything was truly excellent, the food was exceptional, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and it was reasonably priced. There were three of us, and we paid €28. We had a trio (cold pasta, sliced chicken with rosemary and fennel as a side dish), a first course, cold pasta, and a second course with a side dish (orange scallops with baked potatoes). To drink, we had still water and three coffees. The guy also offered us a creamy pasta dish with our coffee, which was delicious. Everything was excellent. If I'm ever in Pomezia for lunch, I'll definitely stop by!

16/10/2025: Good pizza and supplì. Outdoor tables and a small indoor dining area. The only downside was that the dining area was open at 8:30 PM on an October evening, so it was a bit chilly.

03/06/2025: Questo luogo è la mia ancora di salvezza in quei particolare giorni nei quali nn ho tempo di cucinare o sono talmente fuori orario che nn ne ho voglia. Qui trovo sempre qualcosa di cucinato "familiare" con quei sapori che mi ricordano la mamma o la nonna come gli arrosti o le verdure o i primi piatti, è proprio così i sapori sono evocativi nel profondo e qui mi accade così. Voglio aggiungere che ho sempre mangiato abbondantemente, sono sempre stato bene ho speso anche meno del "giusto". Continuerò ad andarci e a gustare come fossi in famiglia.

12/07/2025: Lively and unconventional theater The theater is very charming, with an intimate and evocative atmosphere. The auditorium is welcoming, with good visibility and acoustics. We saw Hybris with Antonio Rezza: a beautiful show, completely unconventional, captivating, and original. A perfect example of the bold, unconventional programming that characterizes Il Vascello. We had a wonderful evening, enjoying quality theater and an environment that truly fosters the artistic experience. Highly recommended for those who love lively, experimental, and unconventional theater.
