25/01/2026: We visited because they offer gluten- and lactose-free options, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. A wide selection of local and non-local cuisine (appetizers, first courses, second courses, desserts, etc.)... as well as pizza and calzones, always gluten- and lactose-free. They are very careful to report possible contamination and incompatibilities. The service is warm and friendly, without ever becoming intrusive! Pleasant and well-kept atmosphere. A place I would recommend without hesitation. I hope to return!

24/01/2026: A large restaurant in the city center, close to Villa Ada, Parioli, and Trieste, with a full menu, including gluten-free options, and a dedicated kitchen. The food is good and there are plenty of options. Being a large restaurant, it can be particularly noisy when full, making it difficult to chat at the table.

13/10/2025: Good bakery with many types of pizza, the white one that keeps well even the next day, delicious chocolate cookies, and grandma's cakes in both small and large sizes. They also sell jarred products (chickpeas, peas, sauces), some of which are good quality. It's open all day.

07/03/2026: A reunion with old friends and a pizza menu, classic appetizers with good-quality cured meats, cheeses, focaccia, and fried foods. It's a shame there weren't any supplì, a classic fried dish to test the quality of a pizzeria. The pizzas are classic Roman-style, thin and richly topped. I tried various types, and they all passed with flying colors. Importantly, even after overindulging in the quantity and types of pizza, I didn't have any digestive issues. The service was discreet but attentive, in a unique, if somewhat dated, setting. The price was a pleasant surprise, excellent value. I'll be back to try the cuisine, especially the grilled meats.

02/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday. There were five of us, including two vegetarians. The welcome was very pleasant and comfortable, and although we had to wait for our table to be ready, the wait was no problem. The location is beautiful, and the view is truly unique, directly overlooking the lake, with a perfect view of the entire basin. Despite it being a cloudy day, the view was truly breathtaking. The restaurant's waiters were very helpful, friendly, and polite. They care about their customers' satisfaction. The menu, with a few essential dishes that can satisfy all tastes, made our lunch enjoyable. In addition to what's on the menu, ask if there are any off-menu items. The photos show the very satisfying appetizers that do the job—appetizers that fill you up, but just enough to let you enjoy the rest of the courses. The first courses were portioned appropriately, without being overly generous. The final tart was truly delicious, homemade with all the hallmarks of a tart: crispy, flavorful, and with jam, probably also homemade. The restaurant has tables for couples inside, while the outdoor veranda can accommodate groups. If you decide to sit outside, remember to ask for blankets if it's not a sunny day. ;) Highly recommended. Congratulations!

22/02/2026: I visited a little after 12:30 PM, and an employee was standing in front of the restaurant and cheerfully beckoned me in. I was led inside. Even as I was being led to my seat, the owner, perhaps the owner, sat at the counter and greeted me. I tried the pepper steak and seafood risotto recommended by the tour guide. The steak was incredibly tender, and the sauce was a Korean favorite. I thought there were two pieces of steak, but the meat underneath was bread. The seafood risotto had plenty of mussels and tasted exactly like risotto made with a seafood-based sauce. The staff were friendly, and the restrooms were clean.

04/02/2026: Guys visiting: come here, period. Friendly staff, warm and peaceful atmosphere, tranquility... the cacio e pepe is top notch, the torta della nonna is phenomenal. I needed it, some locals recommended it to me. You won't be disappointed!!

24/02/2026: Taking time out at Del Frate is always a positive and relaxing experience. A bit like coming home. The atmosphere is warm, with soft lighting, elegant furnishings, and background music that accompany the menu and the glasses. The hospitality deserves a special mention, as you can sense the passion for the work and the connection with the customers.

19/02/2026: Good, Beautiful, Genuine, Delicious. Since I'm passing through Poggio Mirteto, I'll always keep Osteria Emporio 88 in mind whenever I return to this area. The food selection (appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, desserts) is adequate, not overwhelming. The quality, for my taste, is excellent. The service is kind and attentive, too. The restaurant has just a few tables, perfect for creating intimacy and exchanging a few business or friendly conversations. Please don't change! Thank you

16/03/2026: Nice location, nice outdoor space, and super friendly and professional service. Excellent food, from the appetizers to the meats and even the pizza. Prices are average, and the pizza menu is really affordable. Congratulations, definitely worth a try.

28/02/2026: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to our expectations. We started with fried food, which turned out to be of poor quality: the zucchini flowers were so soaked in oil that they were heavy and unpleasant, so much so that we couldn't finish them. The first courses were average, but nothing special: very simple flavors, easily replicated at home. For dessert, I had a tart with cream and strawberries, unfortunately completely bland and tasteless. All this was accompanied by a "Riflessi" white wine, worth about €7, but sold for €19. Overall, a disappointing experience that I wouldn't recommend.

15/03/2026: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant; not just the meat, but everything else was truly excellent. Authentic flavors that are hard to find. The attention to detail in selecting the dishes and sourcing the finest ingredients is evident. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Excellent wines. We will definitely be back.

10/02/2026: Impeccable welcome. Very nice place near the neighborhood and Piazza Santa Maria Goretti! The staff is always available to offer suggestions, but never intrusive. The main course, obviously, is the meat, but taking a look, the first courses also seem to be of excellent appearance and unique (we noticed a truly inviting lasagna. To start, there are 2 appetizers: one of the house and one "off the menu".... namely a swede & beef... delicious!!! For the second course, the house specialty... namely "the hanged man"... a meat skewer presented in a truly unique way. Throughout the evening, the staff is always ready to offer advice and fulfill customer requests! We tried the classic version of the system, but it is possible - spending a little more - to savor the version with "fine meats and cuts". Many meats are displayed in the window and many options. We also tried a bruschetta with lard... to finish, 2 desserts... homemade... very... very... good pear & chocolate cake! Homemade... sour cherry liqueur... offered by the house... together with some amaretti... the presentation of Each dish... has its own reason... definitely worth returning for! Total cost: €60 per person.

23/11/2025: I discovered this restaurant in 2014....the chef is still Antonio, and his dishes captivate every diner's palate...and what can I say about Luigina, who always welcomes you with a smile and great professionalism. You are one of a kind!

15/09/2025: Magical place… Luigina, the owner of the place, served us for two evenings (we decided to return the following evening) with impeccable care and professionalism… the quality of the raw fish, the view of the port, the kindness in even letting us taste two wines, given our indecision… everything was perfect… flavors and kindness from another era… thank you
