28/09/2025: Intrigued by the excellent reviews of this restaurant, I finally decided to go with my wife to see for myself. Well, to the almost unanimous chorus of praise, I'd like to add my own. We truly felt at home in this establishment, which, in Fregene, certainly has no competition. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, the decor is meticulously curated, the De Chiara brothers' unparalleled expertise, and, last but not least, the dishes are expertly prepared and of excellent quality, without neglecting a touch of aesthetics, which never hurts. Among the dishes we sampled, also on the owner's recommendation, were the excellent tagliolini with fish ragù and the perfectly fried monkfish with onions. Also noteworthy was the grilled amberjack steak, whose perfection I discussed with the chef to try and unravel his secrets. Finally, the Anthium wine from Casale del Giglio, one of Lazio's most prestigious wineries, deserves a mention. We are very satisfied with this culinary experience and are sure to return soon.

03/11/2025: Classy cocktail bar with old-world charm The cocktail bar at the Hotel Hassler is a pleasant stop for those who love the old-fashioned atmosphere of Rome's grand hotels. Dark wood paneling, a true American bar counter, and friendly, informal service create a welcoming and refined atmosphere without being overly formal. The cocktails, priced around €25, adhere to IBA recipes with a few innovative touches: well-executed and enjoyable, if not memorable. The accompaniments, however, are excellent: olives, chips, and peanuts served in elegant cups, along with a plate of mini pizzas, tomato-filled panzerotti, bresaola, and shaved parmesan—an uncommon touch, even for a venue of this caliber. Overall, a pleasant and thoughtful experience, but a somewhat limited value for money, more justified by the charm of the location and the service than by the uniqueness of the cocktails.

23/10/2025: Aside from a small mix-up with the bill, everything was delicious and the atmosphere was truly welcoming. A wide variety of choices and quality products.

07/06/2025: I can't review the place because I've never been there, I had written a review that mistakenly appeared on Cristiano's profile, you might say, how do you know the owner's name? Because following his kind report I proceeded to remove the review that appeared on the profile of his place and I contacted him personally with the number that is on the web. Not only did he thank me for calling him but he also encouraged me to have an aperitif at his place. What can I say, professionalism cannot be taught, either you have it or you don't and if this much gives me this much, his place is absolutely worth visiting

26/05/2025: nice place, it is saved for the environment. The food is normal, nothing exceptional. If you want to be a tourist or a party with friends, this is the right place.

05/12/2025: The food was particularly delicious. The drinks were excellent. The staff was friendly and smiling. Very fast service. Generous portions and very fair prices. A welcoming atmosphere just steps from Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore. We'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: Minimal pasta portion. They say 120 grams but it's less. 15 euros for a starter for 90 grams of pasta, no problem. Excellent service, the waiters are great. Reservation over the phone was abrupt, you can't tell if they'll take it or not because they immediately hang up after telling us how many of us there are.

10/11/2025: I got a nice bonus on a website (you can see which one in the photo) and thought — why not go have something tasty? The pasta was creamy and full of flavor, just perfect!

03/10/2025: A wonderful, authentic family pizza restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you're in Fondi, you absolutely must visit for a meal. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of dishes, even if you're not a pizza lover or just want something different. The service is excellent, and they speak some English.

14/09/2025: Very nice, clean place, with friendly and welcoming staff. There are plenty of seats. The menu offers a wide selection: you can choose from pizzas (many options) with bruschetta and fried foods to the classic full lunch with appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, ice cream, and desserts. You can choose between meat or seafood. The selection is truly extensive. From the products I've had the pleasure of trying, I can say they're excellent, well-prepared. They have an extensive selection of bottled wines and a selection of beers. Excellent value for money. I think it's a good place to try. It's far from my home, so I was just passing through the area, but I'd love to return if I could.

23/09/2025: Amazing fried anchovies! Large, plump, and crispy anchovies, a true delight! The tartare is also very good. Fair prices and authentic food. Friendly host and a welcoming place right in front of the fishing boats in the harbor. A wonderful discovery.
