It's always a pleasure to return to Mario's. Unfortunately, after many years of frequenting the place, due to work and travel, I've been missing for a long time... Yesterday I returned and was pleasantly surprised, as if it were the first time. Delicious pizzas, very friendly service. Always a pleasant location, especially in the summer! Mario, a legend! 💯

It's been about 3 years since I've been to Portico di Mario... Due to work in southern Rome and various travels, yesterday I wanted to go back with the family... What can I say? Mario is always a guarantee, amazing in every dish. EXCELLENT QUALITY FOOD!!

Excellent pizza, superb ingredients. The real kick comes from the ingredients, at least for the pizzas we tried, which are top-notch. Especially the one with galletti and Norcia sausage, a true delicacy. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Roman pizza, very thin and delicious....I'm from Rome and I have to say that I haven't found anything better than this....and despite being full of ingredients, it doesn't bend....delicious and very digestible!!! THE BEST!!!

What can I say? Everything is good, the pizza is excellent, as is the meat. The restaurant is a little high up with a nice terrace, perfect for summer evenings, and the staff is very friendly.

We finally found a place where the pizza is GOOD!!!! So much so, that it doesn't even fit on the plate!! The fried foods also deserve a mention... So, go!

Pizzeria Sancho

11/05/2026: A small but very casual place: you order at the counter and, if there's a spot, sit at the tables. We ordered practically everything from the counter... and it was all spectacular. Phenomenal pizza by the slice, light and crispy, with top-quality ingredients. The one that impressed me the most was the amatriciana: I could have easily eaten two more pans. We also had a "frittatina" with truffle, cacio e pepe... it was so good, it was simply illegal. The staff was incredibly friendly. If you're passing through Fiumicino, stopping at Sancio is practically a must.
11/05/2026: Simply the best pizza in the world. It's hard to convey in words how good it is and how carefully selected the ingredients are to create pizzas that will blow your mind. Potato-crusted porchetta (THE ORIGINAL), chicken salad, breaded steak...not to mention the exceptional fried foods. If you've never been to Sancho's, you've never had pizza.

La Grande Bellezza

09/07/2026: The food, service, and staff at this restaurant are wonderful! Our holiday apartment was only steps away so we ate here every night for a week. Lots of fabulous vegetarian options eaten by me and my son, and delicious carnivore options eaten by my husband. They even made my husband a special meal when he was sick and his stomach was feeling dodgy. I only wish I could eat here every day, but sadly, our time in Rome is at an end.
07/07/2026: My twin sister and I ate here back in October 2023. We stayed right across the street. We went in the evening, sat outside. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was great and so friendly. The food was delicious. It was our last night staying there. The only regret I have is we didn't try it sooner so we could eat there more than once. But just glad we got to experience this wonderful place. It concluded our trip in Italy!
