Very friendly and helpful staff, good practice facilities and a well-designed, challenging course. The greens, unfortunately, were not great when we visited. The entrance, car park and clubhouse are harder to explain. It looks like what might happen if you asked a five-year-old to draw an impressive Italian palace and then gave the drawing to a 1990s leisure-centre developer. Whatever veneer of elegance it may once have had has long since peeled away, and it now resembles the set of a zombie film about a year after the outbreak. You could send in a team of three to pack up the pro shop and the catering and dining facilities — in our case, a fridge with some sandwiches and a couple of tables and chairs — and have cameras rolling within the hour. They even had a lake with hundreds of dead fish floating on the surface. The €270 green fee is at least 50% Ryder Cup tax.

The golf course is absolutely worth the money! The fairways and greens are impeccably maintained and very exciting to play. If you're in Rome and enjoy golf, you should definitely plan a round here. The service is top-notch!

Stunning, challenging, 18-hole course that offers a constant challenge. You'll need every club and shot to tame it. The course is maintained to the highest standards, with perfect greens, but very challenging. The rough is very punishing, high, and hard. The green fee is reasonable for the quality of the course. Driving range with Trackman stations for analyzing your practice and simulating one of the available courses. Very professional staff. Good quality bar and restaurant.

It's a spectacle to play on a pitch where the best on the planet have played, it's an incredible feeling.

More like a very nice municipal course rather than a private country club. Lots of hay and without fans spotting where your ball went in, you’re going to lose a lot of them. Tough if you haven’t played it before. Don’t take any short cuts on doglegs because where you’d guess there’s fairway could be hay. Twice as expensive as it should be but they can get it because the Ryder Cup was there. The special-ness of the course is the Ryder Cup aspect.

Cannot rate this place highly enough, we have toured courses all over Europe and from the welcome and Team Europe room tour, to the staff at reception to the starter, beer buggy and bar and restaurant service - we were made so welcome and really well looked after. The course itself is incredible, proper test of golf, bring plenty of balls and accept the difficultly and take in the aura and you can’t fail to enjoy it - fair price too.

It is a solid track. Greens nice rolling around 9 speed? 275€ plus cart. Overall experience was a 5/10. 5 hour round, no beverage cart or halfway house. Just main bar where at the turn, a group or two stopped for a while causing a 3 group backup on 10. No personnel to correct this on a nice course is odd. Main clubhouse is blah. There is also a pool near the patio that is unkept, green, eyesore. A lot of Ryder Cup display is kinda overkill. If you have a cool course, there’s no need to splash it everywhere.

The most beautiful golf course in Europe. Surrounded by greenery just outside Rome, from where you can even see the dome of St. Peter's in the Vatican.
